Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 4 February 2025
Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Palak discussing their upcoming meetings with Budhidhan. Inkesh greets them but arrives late. Budhidhan comments on Inkesh’s tardiness and mocks his excuses, calling him irresponsible. He emphasizes the importance of time, especially since they have a press conference scheduled for the evening. Inkesh expresses concern about Pramad’s absence, but Palak quickly shuts him down, telling him to focus on his own matters.
Saras enters, looking dashing as ever, and prepares Budhidhan’s speech. He talks to Palak about his plan to win Kumud’s heart through the speech. The scene transitions to everyone heading to the press conference.
At the conference, Budhidhan praises the speech, even wishing his son, Pramad, could be as capable. He speaks highly of Palak’s social work and expresses disappointment in Pramad, who has failed to meet expectations. Kumud explains that Pramad will be late. Saras, feeling nervous, wonders how he will express his feelings if Kumud doesn’t arrive.
The Press Conference
Budhidhan delivers his speech, but Saras is focused on Kumud, hoping she will hear his heartfelt words. As the speech ends, everyone applauds, but Kumud is no longer in her seat. Saras is visibly upset, sensing that she might not have been moved by his words.
Back at the family house, Budhidhan mentions Kumud’s failure to react to the speech, criticizing her for continuing to support Pramad despite his flaws. Kumud defends her husband, saying she has spoken to him. Saras enters, and Budhidhan praises him for his speech, calling it full of sincerity. However, Saras, overwhelmed with emotion, says he’s tired and leaves, leaving Kumud to ponder the situation.
Kumud’s Inner Struggle
Kumud, sitting before the Lord, is torn. She reflects on Saras’s apology, yet she struggles to forgive him, haunted by his past actions that broke her heart and insulted her parents. She tells herself that she cannot forgive him anymore and wishes he would leave her life for good. Saras, thinking the same, begins packing, deciding to leave.
Meanwhile, Pramad arrives home intoxicated, causing a commotion. Kumud takes responsibility for him, despite Saras’s offer to help. Pramad becomes aggressive and pushes her, leaving her hurt. Kumud, in pain and frustration, tries to distance herself from Saras, telling him to leave her and not interfere with her marriage.
A Silent Goodbye
The next morning, Kumud performs the family puja. Saras, though physically burnt by the Aarti, is emotionally hurt by Kumud’s words and actions. He silently watches her, unable to intervene. His feelings of helplessness intensify as he contemplates Kumud’s suffering and his inability to help her.
Tensions at Home
At Budhidhan’s house, Saras is invited for breakfast. Pramad, still recovering from his drunken episode, is scolded by Budhidhan. Kumud, hiding her injury with a veil, offers snacks. Saras senses the tension and reflects on his anger towards Pramad for hurting Kumud. Despite his frustration, he shifts the conversation towards his social work, hoping to do more for the community.
Kumud, sensing his internal struggle, becomes increasingly impatient. Saras, unable to contain his anger, breaks a glass in frustration. Kumud, noticing the depth of his pain, brings the first aid kit. However, Saras reveals that the wound he feels is much deeper than a simple cut.
The Unspoken Bond
As the episode progresses, Kumud finds herself caught between her love for Pramad and the undeniable connection she shares with Saras. Both men have deeply impacted her life, and she is left to choose between the past and the future, heartache and healing. Will Kumud find the strength to forgive and move on, or will her painful memories hold her back?
