My Journey to You update Monday 10 February 2025
My Journey to you: Shekhar accompanies Amruta to retrieve the CCTV footage. A couple notices them and comments, “Isn’t she the same girl who argued with that woman?” Amruta asks if they saw anything. One of them replies, “Everyone saw it. That woman threw money at you—it was humiliating.” Virat steps in, demanding details. Meanwhile, Kavita grows anxious.
Jahan prays for Amruta, pleading, “She always stands for truth. Please grant her justice, God.” A woman recounts, “She was shouting at that woman, accusing her of something.” However, they admit they didn’t hear the full conversation. Suddenly, the woman picks up a stone and throws it at her, leaving Virat in shock.
Nimrit confronts Amruta, “You hit our mom? Have some shame.” Another woman claims, “That woman ran away, and then this girl and her mom picked up the bags.” Kavita asserts, “We can see the truth now. Amruta, they only know half the story. I never went after her. Trust me.” A bystander accuses Amruta, “She looked scared of you. Maybe you threatened her.” It’s revealed that Abhiraj orchestrated this, prompting Kavita to question, “So, everyone is lying except you? All the evidence is against you.” Amruta pleads with Virat, “Please trust me, I didn’t do anything! Someone paid these people to lie.” Just then, a woman announces, “I recorded everything.”
In the footage, Babita is seen pleading, “Take all the money, but please don’t hurt me.” Amruta is stunned. “That’s not me,” she protests, but Virat interrupts, “Enough. You scared and threatened my mom.” The footage appears to show Amruta shoving Babita onto the road, where a truck hits her. Virat is horrified, while Amruta insists, “It’s a fake video.”
Scene Shift
At the hospital, Babita smirks, declaring, “Amruta’s chapter is over.” Abhiraj confirms, “Everything went according to plan. Virat doesn’t trust her anymore.” Babita adds, “That girl will end up in jail. Virat still cares about her, but he has no choice—he’ll send her to prison himself. She’ll never marry my son.”
Back at the confrontation, Amruta insists, “That’s not me!” Virat, furious, shouts, “Shut up! It’s you!” He points to the video. “How could you do this? You almost killed my mom! Do you have no mercy?” Amruta protests, “That video doesn’t even show my face! Anyone could be wearing those bangles.” But Virat refuses to listen, “Every piece of evidence is against you. You’ve ruined everything.” He accuses her of orchestrating everything, from leaking photos to manipulating situations.
Virat drags Amruta out of the festival as she recalls their moments together. He scorns, “I thought we had something real. I believed I could trust again, but you broke that trust.” He forces her to the temple, pointing to a ritual weight. “Women’s families pray on this to find them good husbands. Isn’t that what you wanted? Let me fulfill your parents’ dream.”
Amruta is confused. “What are you saying?” He shoves her onto the swing. “This fake wedding was your plan, wasn’t it?” She defends herself, “Only to buy time to find the real culprit!” Virat counters, “You didn’t get enough money, so you attacked my mom?” Amruta, fed up, retorts, “Enough! You’ve accused me of chasing money before, and I proved my innocence every time. But now, all the proof is against me? This video is fake! I don’t care what people believe.”
Virat snaps, “I care! I trusted you, lied to my family for you, and this is what I get?” He accuses her of using half-truths, just as she did when proving his mom wrong. Amruta argues, “I believed people would tell the truth.” Kavita intervenes, revealing, “The stolen money was found in your house.” Nimrit taunts, “This was your lottery.”
Just then, the police arrive with a man—the same one who took Amruta’s photos. Amruta demands, “Tell the truth. Did Babita ask you to do this?” He nods. Gasps echo. But then, he smirks, “I’ll say whatever you tell me, boss.” Amruta is shocked. “What?!” He accuses her of not paying him, turning the tables. Virat snaps, “Enough. The culprit is in front of us.” He orders the police to arrest Amruta. “Do you have any more proof? Everything is against you. Did you want to marry me for money? You almost killed my mom.”
Virat admits, “I still doubted her before. But she always exposed you. She always said you were a gold-digger and a fraud. And she was right.” He accuses Amruta of turning him against his family. “I told you—my mom is everything to me. When she found out your truth, you tried to kill her.”
Amruta, exasperated, demands, “Why would I do that? This is all her plan!” Virat yells, “Shut up.” Amruta shouts back, “No, YOU shut up! You won’t silence me. Your mom did this because she thought we were getting married. Which isn’t even true. It’s over.”
Virat darkly responds, “No. It’s just begun.” Bhavani tries to intervene, but Virat lashes out, “You and your mom are the same. She’s the real mastermind.” Amruta is stunned. “What?” He sneers, “She’s greedy. Just like you. That’s why she was so happy—why wouldn’t she be? Her daughter lost her job, and her husband left her.”
Amruta, now furious, snaps, “Shut up! What are you even saying?”
