Jhanak update Thursday 13 February 2025

Jhanak: The episode begins with Anirudh revealing to Rudra that Jhanak is Brij’s daughter. Rudra is shocked and asks for more details. Anirudh explains that Jhanak’s mother, Urvashi, was a talented dancer, and Brij was her Guru. They performed together and had an unspoken commitment like marriage. However, when Urvashi became pregnant, Brij refused to acknowledge her. Urvashi’s sister, Shrishti, who had a rivalry with her, played a role in separating her from Brij. Heartbroken, Urvashi returned to Srinagar, where Jhanak was born. She reached out to Brij, but he rejected her and Jhanak. Life was cruel to Urvashi, and eventually, she ended her life, leaving behind a letter detailing her pain. Anirudh tells Rudra that he kept this truth from Jhanak to protect her from Brij’s humiliation but intends to tell her when she is settled.

Rudra believes Jhanak has the strength to confront Brij and ruin his plans. Anirudh, uncertain if he will meet Jhanak again, entrusts Rudra with the responsibility of supporting her. Rudra assures him that he will stand by Jhanak. Later, they return to the event, where Brij senses something is off and questions them.

Meanwhile, Ruchita asks who will go to the finals—Jhanak or Pratiksha. Queenie admits it’s a tough choice. The renowned singer Kumar Sanu makes a grand entrance, and Shrishti welcomes him with a bouquet. Ruchita invites him to announce the winner, and he declares Jhanak Raina as the finalist. Rudra beams with pride as Jhanak takes the stage. However, her final challenge is against Arshi. Kumar Sanu praises Jhanak’s dancing skills and requests her to perform to his song. She explains that her Guru, Rudra, selects her songs. Kumar Sanu, knowing Rudra, requests her to dance while he sings. Jhanak delivers a mesmerizing performance on Ladki Badi Anjani Hai, earning applause from everyone.

Kumar Sanu then performs Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam, and Anirudh imagines himself dancing romantically with Jhanak. As the final round approaches, Jhanak delivers a heartfelt speech about the essence of dance, emphasizing that art matters more than victory or defeat. Shrishti mocks her, but the audience applauds.

Meanwhile, Choton defends Appu’s affection for Lalon, but Tanuja and Dadu disapprove, fearing family embarrassment. Dadu decides to ban Lalon from visiting, which upsets Appu.

Backstage, Anirudh approaches Jhanak, congratulating her on reaching the finals. She acknowledges the challenge ahead, especially with Arshi as her opponent. However, Anirudh makes an unexpected request—he asks her to lose the finals intentionally, letting Arshi win. Jhanak is stunned by his request.
