Saras and Kumud update Thursday 13 February 2025

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Kusum questioning Kumud about the truth. She suspects something happened when she entered the house, but Kumud denies it. Kusum then asks if Pramad behaves this way with everyone. Meanwhile, Budhidhan argues with his wife about Pramad’s behavior. He believes Vidyachatur sent Kusum out of concern for Kumud, fearing Pramad might harm her.

Saras arrives and explains that Kusum is here to check on Kumud. He assures Budhidhan that gaining Kumud’s family’s trust is essential. He suggests organizing a celebration to make Kusum see that Kumud is not alone and that the family supports her. Budhidhan agrees, but Pramad’s mother is skeptical. Saras convinces her that the function can bring happiness. Even Alak, who dislikes gatherings, agrees to the plan when she hears it’s for those who missed Kumud’s wedding.

As preparations begin, Kumud asks Kusum for help. Pramad’s mother watches them affectionately. Meanwhile, Alak wonders how Saras will convince Pramad to join. Pramad’s mother informs Kusum about the celebration, and Kusum offers to cook. Impressed, Pramad’s mother jokes that if she had another son, she would want Kusum as her daughter-in-law. Alak playfully suggests that Saras (Navinchandra) could be a match for Kusum. Saras watches Kumud, hoping for her happiness.

Later, Kumud confronts Saras about his plan and questions how to keep Kusum away from him. Saras assures her that he will handle everything and asks her to bring Pramad to the function. As they talk, Kalika arrives, making Saras ask her to leave. However, she notices Kumud leaving his room and becomes suspicious.

Kumud approaches Pramad and urges him to attend the event, reminding him that his parents would appreciate it. Pramad dismisses her, but she insists, selecting an outfit for him. Though he taunts her about Saraswatichandra, she promises to answer all his questions after the party.

At the party, Budhidhan is pleased with the arrangements but doubts Pramad will come. Saras remains confident. Meanwhile, Kalika searches Saras’s room for evidence and finds a waistband belonging to Kumud. She realizes if Saras had gifted her something, she could have kept his secret safe.

As the event unfolds, Kusum spots Saras. Alak introduces Saras as Navinchandra and jokingly suggests a marriage between him and Kusum. Kusum is shocked and looks at Kumud, who avoids eye contact. Before Kusum can speak to Saras, Kalika interrupts and sends him to meet Kumud’s father-in-law.

During a conversation with Kumud’s father-in-law, Kusum expresses doubt about staying there. Kalika then brings up Kumud’s waistband, revealing she found it in Saras’s room. Everyone is stunned, but Kusum quickly saves the situation. Pramad sarcastically remarks that Saras is not only a savior but also the house’s pride.

Later, in the kitchen, Kumud’s mother-in-law praises Saras for organizing the celebration and Kumud for convincing Pramad to attend. Concerned about Saras’s meal, she asks a servant to take food to him. Kusum volunteers, saying she wants to thank him for bringing Kumud home.

In Saras’s room, he worries about Kusum’s reaction. When she arrives with food, she pointedly addresses him as Navinchandra. Meanwhile, in Kumud’s room, she confronts Pramad about drinking. He mocks her, offering her alcohol to forget her sadness. She reminds him of her promise to reveal everything. He sarcastically agrees to stop drinking and listen to her “love story.”

In Saras’s room, Kusum accuses him of ruining Kumud’s marriage by impersonating someone else. Saras tries to explain, but she refuses to listen and demands he leave Kumud’s in-laws’ house.

In Kumud’s room, she shares memories of Saras’s mother and their families’ deep connection. Pramad listens disinterestedly.

Back in Saras’s room, he insists that Saraswatichandra is dead and that he is now Navinchandra. However, Kusum continues her accusations, demanding he leave before causing further damage.
