Anupama update Tuesday 18 February 2025

Anupama: The episode begins with Anuj and Anupama performing Tulsi puja with Aadhya. Anupama calls Coffee and asks Aadhya to feed it. Coffee arrives and starts eating, but Aadhya hesitates to go near. Anupama reassures her, saying animals are often more trustworthy than strangers. Aadhya greets Coffee and shares how she used to feed a stray dog, considering Coffee her new friend. Anupama then asks her to put out food for the birds.

Aadhya wonders if birds understand them, to which Anuj responds affirmatively, joking that if they waste food, Anupama will scold them. Aadhya places the food, and Kaveri makes a sound. Anupama encourages Aadhya to feed Kaveri, explaining the significance of cows in their culture, calling them “Gau Mata” and highlighting the medicinal properties of cow urine and dung. Aadhya recalls that Anupama taught her this, and Anuj admits he had forgotten to do so. Anupama insists they should both teach Aadhya what they know.

Meanwhile, Baa speaks to Vanraj’s photo, urging him to return home. Titu and Kinjal try to console her. Baa laments not knowing his whereabouts, while Toshu enters, dancing and tasting the juice. He orders the servant to bring orange juice and boasts about the burden of being the family head, which has deprived him of sleep. He then asks Baa to prepare curry pakoda, something his father disliked, now possible in his absence. As he walks away, Baa plays a bhajan, leaving the kids delighted.

Anupama asks Aadhya to perform the aarti, but Aadhya hesitates, fearing mistakes that might upset God. Anupama reassures her that devotion matters more than perfection. Encouraged by Babuji and others, Aadhya finally does the aarti. Afterward, she suggests bringing Bappa home. Babuji sees this as a sign that Ganeshji wishes to come. Bala and Indra volunteer to bring the idol, while Anuj reminisces about making Bappa’s idol with GK. He agrees to bring Bappa home. However, Aadhya worries that the Shah family won’t be able to visit, as Toshu has forbidden her from going there. Anuj assures her that Anupama will find a way.

Anuj later expresses relief at Aadhya’s progress, but Anupama reminds him that overcoming childhood trauma takes time, and they must continue supporting her. Anuj shares his concerns about her future, and Anupama suggests he restart his business, praising his innovative ideas. Anuj admits he wants to but acknowledges the challenges of financing and networking. They decide to prepare for the aarti together.

Elsewhere, Meenu and her friend ride in Sagar’s auto, discussing a college guy they admire. Meenu’s friend gets off, and Sagar, feeling jealous, grumbles about the unknown Rohan. Meenu insists first impressions are based on looks, with personality coming second. She adds that while a person’s heart doesn’t change, appearances can.

Meanwhile, Titu questions Dimpy about her destination. When her file falls, he picks it up and realizes she’s meeting a builder. Dimpy admits she doesn’t trust Toshu and fears he might deny Ansh his rights. Toshu overhears and taunts her, asserting that while he has no ill intentions, he will ensure she doesn’t receive a penny if she challenges him. After Toshu leaves, Dimpy worries about their future, but Titu reassures her, reminding her they have a home in Mumbai. Dimpy, however, insists she wants to stay where she is.

Sagar, feeling insecure, compares himself to another guy. Bala notices and asks why he’s examining his reflection. Sagar explains he has learned that looks matter as much as a good heart. Bala advises that love requires change, adding that he would even shave his head if Indra ji asked. Sagar thanks him for the advice.

Back with Anuj and Anupama, they mix water with clay to mold an idol. In the process, their Radha-Krishna lockets fall into the bucket. As they retrieve them, Anuj recalls poetry, and Aadhya arrives, returning their lockets. She eagerly asks if she can help make the idol. Anuj agrees, and they all press their handprints into the clay, smiling as they work together.
