Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 18 February 2025

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Kusum telling Kumud not to stop her today. Kusum looks at Pramad and confirms the truth of her feelings for Naveen. She explains that the earrings Kumud once owned were worn when she met Naveen, and the poetry she gave him was to express her love. Kusum shares that when Kumud’s marriage broke, Naveen’s father severed their relationship as well. Despite meeting him again here, she remained quiet, not wanting to trouble her parents. She admits she didn’t expect to see him there. Kusum insists she can handle anything, but not her sister’s dishonor, as everyone listens in shock. She tells Budhidhan to ask Saras about the matter. Pramad looks at Saras while Budhidhan asks if it is true. Saras reflects on his promise to Kumud and interrupts, saying he’ll take responsibility for the situation.

Kalika is shocked when Murakh Das supports Kusum’s claims, recalling seeing Kusum and Naveen holding hands in the kitchen. Saras admits that he gave Kumud a kamarbandh as a gift and apologizes to Budhidhan for keeping it a secret. He explains that he was only trying to apologize to Kusum. Budhidhan scolds Pramad for his behavior and tells him he won’t trust him again. Pramad storms off angrily, and Kalika apologizes to Kumud, touching her feet. Pramad’s mother apologizes as well. Kusum also apologizes to Pramad’s mother, who claims responsibility for the mess.

Later, Budhidhan, upset, speaks with Alak and expresses his frustration about Pramad. He wishes to expel him from the house. Alak mentions how Pramad doubted Naveen and says it’s impossible to forget. Meanwhile, Kumud struggles with the situation, feeling everything is falling apart. She starts to doubt her future with Pramad. Kusum reassures her that she won’t have to lie again and again because of this. Kumud says she will ask Saras to leave, but Kusum knows he won’t. Saras is willing to endure for Kumud’s sake.

The next morning, Badimaa talks to Pramad’s mother, who hands Kumud the phone. Kumud reassures Badimaa that everything is fine, as she has tried to bring happiness, just like Badimaa always believed. Badimaa asks about the Janmashtami function planned for Kusum, and Kumud assures her that Kusum is enjoying herself.

Meanwhile, trouble brews as the workers at the Karkhana go on strike, demanding payment. Guniyal is concerned, but Badimaa suggests selling her jewelry to raise the money. Despite Guniyal’s objections, Chandrika offers her bangles, and the matter is settled. Then, someone mysteriously pays the workers. Kalika comes to apologize to Kumud, saying her actions caused Kusum and Naveen to stop speaking. She asks Kumud for help in reuniting them, and Kumud agrees to forgive her.

Saras, on the other hand, remains focused on Pramad, suspecting that he might go to any lengths to find out more about Saraswatichandra. As Pramad and Saras meet on the road, Pramad taunts Saras, and Saras reveals he knows about Saraswatichandra’s death, leaving Pramad shocked.
