Saras and Kumud update Wednesday 19 February 2025

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Saras telling Pramad that Saraswatichandra is dead, shocking him. Pramad mockingly reacts, asking if Kumud knows about this, and taunts her by saying she is now a widow. Saras becomes enraged, telling Pramad he doesn’t deserve Kumud’s love. Pramad insults Kumud, implying she may have had many lovers, which leads Saras to angrily beat him. Saras reflects on his promise to Kumud and declares that Saraswatichandra loved Kumud deeply, but after causing her pain, he died. He tells Pramad that Kumud still tries to love him, but he doesn’t deserve her.

Meanwhile, Budhidhan speaks to Kumud about Alak and questions if she’s able to forget what happened. He expresses concern about Pramad’s deteriorating behavior, suggesting that his bloodline is overtaking his upbringing. Kalika visits Kumud to apologize and return a box. Kusum warns Kalika not to repeat her mistake, as Kumud has forgiven her once.

Kumud, troubled by Budhidhan’s words, reflects on them as Pramad approaches her, claiming he knows everything about her lover and sarcastically informing her of Saraswatichandra’s death. Kumud is shocked. Kalika interrupts, and Pramad leaves to meet Budhidhan. Kumud is left crying, haunted by his words.

Badimaa and Guniyal are perplexed by the heavy rain, wondering who helped them. Danny arrives at Vidyachatur’s house, and Badimaa and Guniyal are shocked to see him. Kumud runs outside in search of Saras and finds him angrily taking out his frustration on wood. She tries to comfort him, but he says he will leave if he feels she is safe and happy. They share an emotional moment but Kumud returns inside.

Danny urges Badimaa to allow Saras a chance to make things right, but she refuses, and they shut the door on him. Kusum confronts Saras, urging him to move on, but he declares that he can never forget Kumud. He says he will only leave when he knows Pramad has changed and that Kumud is happy.

Pramad confronts Kumud, asking where she’s been. Kumud doesn’t answer, and Kalika intervenes. Pramad shows her his wounds, and Kumud reluctantly tends to them. He suggests that she should consider him as her husband. As the tension rises, Saras becomes worried, fearing that Pramad might harm Kumud.

Later, Pramad becomes aggressive, forcing Kumud to drink wine and then trying to take advantage of her. Kumud resists, and when Saras hears the noise, he rushes to intervene. Kumud runs away, but Pramad follows her. Saras arrives just in time to stop Pramad and save Kumud, but Kumud, intoxicated and weak, stumbles into the kitchen. Saras finds her there, and they share a heartbreaking moment as he tries to comfort her.

The next morning, Pramad is seen outside Kalika’s room, and Kumud wakes up. Pramad’s mother questions him, and Kalika taunts Kumud, implying it’s her duty to spend time with her husband. Pramad’s mother walks away, leaving Kalika to ponder her work being done.
