Soulmate update Thursday 20 February 2025

Soulmate: The episode begins with Sayali desperately questioning Akash about his whereabouts and accusing him of betrayal. She angrily reminds him that he had promised to come home but didn’t, leading to Paresh’s arrest and humiliation. Akash is shocked to learn that Riya’s father has accused him and Paresh of kidnapping her. Sayali, furious, blames him for Paresh’s suffering, who hasn’t eaten all day.

Akash, realizing the gravity of the situation, promises to return immediately. Sayali warns him not to deceive her again or he won’t even see her dead face.

Meanwhile, inside the jail, Paresh is mocked by fellow inmates. Sachin defends him but is told to leave. Sayali pleads with the inspector to release Paresh, insisting that Akash will clarify everything. Soon, Akash and Riya arrive. An enraged Sachin attacks Akash, blaming him for their father’s imprisonment. Despite Riya’s attempts to intervene, Sachin continues to assault Akash until the constables restrain him. A furious Renu also slaps Akash, accusing him of betraying the family on Sayali’s instructions. Akash denies it, but Renu refuses to believe him.

Just then, Joy and Mamta arrive. Mamta slaps Riya, while Joy demands Akash’s arrest, claiming he coerced Riya into marriage. However, Riya stands up to her parents, stating that she married Akash of her own free will because they were forcing her into an unwanted alliance. The inspector confirms that since Riya wasn’t forced, no legal action can be taken against Akash. Joy and Mamta, heartbroken and furious, disown Riya and leave.

After Paresh is released, Akash apologizes, but Paresh pushes him away and walks out. Sachin warns Akash to stay away from the family and storms off. Sayali also turns her back on him, leaving Akash devastated.

As the family departs, Paresh surprisingly asks Sayali to return home. Renu, confused by his sudden change of heart, questions him, but he insists. The episode ends on an emotional note as the family leaves together, with tensions still unresolved.
