Advocate Anjali: Anjali’s mother is busy cooking when Anjali, from the bathroom, calls out for a shalwar or pant, saying she’s running late for court. Her mother, frustrated, asks why she always forgets her clothes and, while checking a grocery bag, remarks that she must have bought groceries on credit again. She warns that even the shopkeeper might refuse to give them credit next time. Anjali reassures her that she’s getting a new client today and will manage to earn some money.

Meanwhile, her father irons her dress and hands it to her, then questions his wife about why she always scolds Anjali. The mother insists Anjali is grown up now, and they should think about her marriage. However, the father firmly warns her not to bring up marriage in the house, as he wants Anjali to focus on becoming a successful lawyer. Anjali steps out of the bathroom, praises her father for his progressive mindset, and confidently states that their situation will improve once she starts handling more cases.

At the Rajput house, preparations for the pooja begin. A man asks his wife, Nivedita, about the whereabouts of the family members. She provides an update and goes to prepare the aarti thali when he requests it. He then inquires about Padma, and his sister-in-law informs him that Padma has gone to deliver prasad to Kavya.

Back at Anjali’s house, she rushes out, but her mother insists she eat breakfast first. Anjali refuses, saying she can’t afford to delay or she might lose her client. Just then, her friends from the chawl bring a case to her, claiming it’s about a kidnapping. Excited, Anjali boasts about her legal knowledge and asks who was kidnapped, only to find out it’s their goat. Annoyed, she scolds them for wasting her time. As she bends down to pick up her fallen umbrella, she notices her scooter has a flat tire and asks someone to push it.

Meanwhile, at a club, Yuvraj is partying and drinking heavily by the pool. His friends caution him to slow down, warning that his father will be angry, but Yuvraj pays no heed. Padma nervously enters the club carrying a prasad box. Spotting her, Yuvraj decides to flirt with her despite his friends’ attempts to stop him. He approaches Padma, introduces himself, and insists she join the party. Terrified, she trembles. At that moment, Rajput family’s elder sister-in-law calls Padma, asking why she is taking so long to deliver the prasad to Kavya and instructing her to return home quickly. Padma nervously assures her she’ll be back soon.

Back at the Rajput house, Nivedita asks her sister-in-law to get ready for the aarti. A disagreement arises between two daughters—one wants to skip the pooja to attend a party. Nivedita and her husband intervene, insisting that they will stay home and perform Matarani’s pooja. The husband then asks about the gangajal and for someone to call their mother. Just then, their mother arrives, but Vaibhav enters and announces that their elder brother has forbidden her from attending the pooja. Nivedita’s husband demands an explanation, and Vaibhav’s wife states that the elder brother wants no disruptions in the ceremony. Their mother, Kangana Singh Rajput, LLB, firmly states that she was not only stopped from attending court but now from the pooja as well. The family disperses.

Back at the club, Yuvraj snatches Padma’s prasad and phone, persistently pressuring her to party with him. His friends try to stop him, but he pushes them away and throws Padma into the pool. She cries, begging to go home. One of Yuvraj’s friends helps her out of the water. As she tries to leave, Yuvraj attempts to stop her, but she manages to run away. Yuvraj and his friends chase after her. His sister notices and warns him that Padma is Aman’s housemaid, but his friends continue the pursuit.

Padma struggles to navigate through a traffic jam while dragging her scooter and gets harassed by beggars, whom she angrily shoos away. Meanwhile, Anjali, observing the chase, sees an opportunity this could be her first real case. Determined, she rushes to Padma’s rescue. Overwhelmed, Padma clings to Anjali in relief.
