Saras and Kumud update Sunday 23 February 2025

The episode begins on February 23, 2025, with Badimaa telling Kumud and Saras that if everyone learns about Saras’s true identity, it will shatter their trust in him. Kalika overhears this conversation and is shocked. She comments that Saras and Kumud’s relationship ended when Kumud married Pramad. Badimaa insists that Saras has no right to help Kumud. Saras notices a saree that has fallen from Kalika’s hands and realizes someone overheard them. Kalika runs off to tell Pramad, but he isn’t in his room.

She calls for him and notices his phone on the table. Kalika, excited, reveals that Kumud’s secret is out: Naveen is actually Saraswatichandra. Saras is on his way to her.

However, Pramad is nowhere to be found. Kalika says she needs to find Pramad and tell him everything. Meanwhile, Badimaa warns Kumud that she is playing with fire, and Kumud reassures her that she didn’t stop Saras from helping. Badimaa insists that Kumud should ask Saras to leave, but Kumud stands firm, believing nothing wrong will happen. Badimaa tells Kumud to learn from her parents and leave everything to them, but Kumud vows that there will be no mistakes now.

Saras searches for Kalika while she continues looking for Pramad. Eventually, Kalika finds Pramad, saying she has been searching for him everywhere. Pramad responds coldly, asking if anyone has died. Kalika tries to convince him that the secret she is about to share will shock him and make him trust only her. As Kalika starts revealing Saras’s true identity, Kumud spends time with her family, hugging them as they prepare to leave. Saras, meanwhile, turns off the lights, and Pramad stumbles.

Kalika continues to tell Pramad that the earrings and poetry were proof of Kumud’s betrayal, revealing that Naveen is actually Saraswatichandra. She waits for a response, but Pramad says nothing.

Saras lights a candle, and Kalika turns around, startled to see him. She accuses him of being a cheater, but Saras counters that she’s the one lying. He threatens to expose her secrets, mentioning her bank accounts and assets, including the money Pramad has given her. Kalika, panicked, warns Saras not to reveal her secrets, threatening that Kumud and he won’t be safe. Saras, unafraid, tells her that exposing her will only benefit him and Kumud. Saras confidently replies that he could easily buy ten people like Pramad and dares her to expose him.

Meanwhile, Kumud prays to the Lord, asking if she is doing the right thing by letting Saras stay. She confides that Saras is her strength, but others will never understand. She believes only the Lord knows the truth in their hearts. Saras reassures her that as long as he’s there, no one will hurt her. Kalika, feeling cornered, tries to intimidate him, but Saras remains resolute.

Kumud receives a call from her friend Preeti, and Kalika walks out after speaking with Saras. Saras worries about Kalika exposing the truth to Pramad, which could ruin everything. Kumud then speaks to Budhidhan and his wife, who inform her that Murakh Das has news. Kalika, stunned, learns that a groom’s family will be coming to see her tomorrow. Pramad is furious, and Kalika, realizing she has lost control, decides to tell Pramad’s family about Saras, but Pramad stops her.

Kalika, trying to change the subject, hints at Kumud’s involvement in her arranged marriage. Pramad dismisses it, claiming he doesn’t care about her marriage.

As Kalika continues to resist the idea of marriage, Budhidhan asks her directly if she is against it. Kalika reluctantly agrees to go along with the marriage plans. The power comes back on, and Budhidhan announces that it’s decided—Kalika will marry, and the groom’s family will visit tomorrow. Kumud volunteers to handle the preparations, but Murakh Das stops her and asks Kalika to take Kumud’s blessings for arranging her marriage. Kalika hesitates, but Kumud kindly reassures her, saying they won’t force her to marry if she doesn’t like the man.

Pramad, visibly angry, storms off. Saras and Kumud share a smile, pleased with their small victory.

In the midst of this, Pramad grows even more enraged, feeling that Kumud is causing problems for him. Saras warns her not to approach Pramad, as he is too angry, but Kumud insists she has to face him. Her saree gets caught, and Saras, worried, tells her it’s not safe to confront Pramad now. Kumud disagrees, stating that Pramad is her husband, and she has to go to him. Saras acknowledges her resolve but reminds her that Pramad will vent his anger on her.

Kumud, filled with courage, says this is their first victory, but Saras clarifies that it’s her victory, not his. He then reminds her of his own failure in the past. Kumud reassures him, telling him that he should focus on his own pain instead of hiding it. Saras, unable to go until he’s certain Kumud is settled, urges her to let him handle things his way. Kumud, unsure, asks about what Saras said to Kalika to make her agree to marry. Saras dodges the question, telling Kumud that the future will unfold as she desires.

Kumud pauses, noticing the smiley Saras drew on her hand. He advises her to always smile, no matter what. She smiles, but then Pramad shouts her name. Kumud, filled with strength from Saras’s support, walks toward Pramad, ready to face him.

The episode ends with Budhidhan announcing that Kumud is now in control of everything that once belonged to Pramad. This decision shocks everyone, particularly Pramad, who gives Kumud a fierce look.
