Saras & Kumud: The episode begins with Saras and Kumud meeting on the terrace. Kumud feels responsible for Kalika running away, believing she has hurt everyone, including Pramad. Saras reassures her that it is not her fault, as Kalika was always deceitful and bound to leave. However, Kumud is overwhelmed with guilt, feeling she has failed to protect Kalika’s future.

Saras reminds her that Kalika never considered anyone’s feelings before fleeing, and now, without her interference, Kumud has the chance to help Pramad change.

Meanwhile, loud noises draw their attention. The family is shocked as Pramad lashes out in anger. He accuses his parents of controlling his life and resents Kumud for Kalika’s departure. Enraged, he threatens to harm her, but Saras intervenes just in time. Budhidhan, Pramad’s father, asserts his authority, explaining that Kalika had agreed to the marriage and that Kumud merely facilitated it. Pramad’s mother is devastated by his behavior and faints.

Later, Saras expresses his concern for Kumud, questioning whether Pramad will ever change. Kumud remains hopeful but acknowledges that transformation takes time. As Saras tends to her injured hand, he reflects on their past and blames himself for her suffering. Kumud reassures him that she has grown stronger because of him.

That night, Kumud cautiously enters Pramad’s room to offer him food. He taunts her, comparing her to Kalika, who left with dignity, while Kumud continues to tolerate his mistreatment. His cruel words escalate, belittling her family’s struggles and accusing them of being shameless. Kumud, deeply hurt, finally stands up for herself, declaring that her self-respect stems from her upbringing. She distinguishes herself from Kalika, asserting that truth and integrity define her character.

Pramad’s rage reaches its peak as he physically assaults Kumud, attempting to force himself on her. Kumud fights back, striking him with a plate and escaping. She confronts him, questioning how he would feel if his sister endured the same abuse. Stunned, Pramad watches as she leaves.

Saras finds Kumud injured and furious. He insists that Pramad does not deserve her, vowing to make him pay, but Kumud stops him, determined to handle the situation herself. She announces her decision to leave before she loses everything, shocking the family. Budhidhan, realizing the extent of Pramad’s cruelty, grants her permission to go.

As Kumud prepares to depart, Pramad smugly drinks on the terrace, believing he has succeeded in driving her away. Saras confronts him, warning that he will regret his actions. Pramad dismisses him, but Saras pities him, pointing out that he has lost both Kalika and Kumud.

Kumud bids farewell to her in-laws, embracing them with tears in her eyes. As she leaves with Saras and Kusum, memories of her time in Pramad’s house flood her mind. During their journey, she silently reflects on her suffering, blaming herself for not stopping Pramad’s mistreatment earlier.

When they pause for a break, Saras notices her pain and urges her to take medicine, but she refuses. He acknowledges that while he wanted her to succeed in changing Pramad, her self-respect is more important. Their journey takes them to a temple, where a priest mistakenly assumes they are married, tying a sacred thread around their wrists. Kusum clarifies their relationship, but the priest insists that their fates are intertwined.

Meanwhile, Danny quietly leaves Vidyachatur’s house, narrowly missing Saras. As Saras and Kumud finally arrive at her home, he reminds her that he can only support her up to this point—she must face what comes next alone. Kumud, recalling her father’s promise that their home would always be open to her, steps forward with determination as Saras watches.
