Saras and Kumud update Saturday 1 March 2025
Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Pramad and Kumud heading to the temple, unaware that Kalika is secretly watching them. Seizing the moment, Kalika trips Kumud, causing her to fall. However, Pramad swiftly catches her, but in the process, he tumbles down the stairs. Alarmed, Kumud rushes to him, asking if he is okay. Pramad reassures her that he’s fine but questions how she slipped. Kumud, recalling a beggar’s presence, looks around—only to find no one there.
Concerned for Pramad’s injuries, Kumud insists they return home, but he is determined to complete the temple visit. She ultimately convinces him to leave, supporting him as they walk away. Kalika, watching from a distance, seethes with jealousy and vows to ruin Kumud’s happiness.
Meanwhile, Kusum advises Saras that rejecting the proposed marriage outright could raise suspicions, so they should pretend to agree in front of Pramad. Kumud overhears and confronts them about deceiving Pramad again. While Saras believes waiting for Pramad’s complete transformation is wise, Kumud is convinced that he is already changing and insists on telling him the truth. Despite Saras’ hesitation, she remains firm and heads to speak with Pramad.
As Kumud approaches Pramad, Saras attempts to stop her, but Pramad interrupts, eager to share a surprise. To her shock, Pramad’s family—his parents Budhidhan and his wife, along with his sister Alak—arrives. Pramad’s mother expresses how much they missed Kumud and wanted to celebrate the festival together. Alak reveals that the reunion was Pramad’s idea. Vidyachatur warmly welcomes them, saying this Navratri will be special.
Pramad further surprises everyone by announcing he has invited a renowned Dandiya troupe. Budhidhan proudly declares Kumud as their daughter-in-law, which unsettles Saras. As he quietly exits, Kalika, lurking outside, smirks and ominously promises that Saras and Kumud will never forget this Navratri.
Meanwhile, Danny encounters Kalika and, not recognizing her, questions her presence. Just then, Saras approaches, sensing something is off. As Saras calls Danny, Kalika vanishes. Danny informs Saras about the unknown woman who fled upon being confronted.
Inside, Vidyachatur plays chess with Pramad, initially losing but later making a comeback. Badimaa reminds him to fetch the idol for the festival. To everyone’s delight, Vidyachatur gifts his gold chain to Pramad as a token of goodwill. Moved by this gesture, Pramad acknowledges his past mistakes, praising Kumud for guiding him toward the right path. Kumud, hopeful about his transformation, wonders how to reveal the truth to him.
Determined to prove himself, Pramad insists on walking to collect the idol rather than taking the car. Meanwhile, Kumud, lost in thought, feels conflicted about keeping secrets from Pramad, especially with his family showing such warmth. Budhidhan notices her unease and reassures her that if she ever makes a mistake, he will forgive her. Touched, Kumud hugs him, while Saras, shadowing Pramad, remains wary of his intentions.
Unbeknownst to Saras, Kalika follows him, plotting to expose him in front of Ambe Maa. As Pramad and Saras return home with the idol, Saras begins to believe that Pramad may indeed be changing. However, he worries that revealing his identity could undo all progress. He warns Pramad to never hurt Kumud, to which Pramad simply nods. Meanwhile, Kalika, lurking near the entrance with a knife, mutters that she has made arrangements for the evening—ensuring that Kumud won’t escape her wrath.
Later, Saras, deep in thought, watches Kumud from the terrace, reminiscing about moments they shared. When Kumud joins him, they share a heartfelt conversation. Kumud insists on telling Pramad the truth, while Saras remains unconvinced of Pramad’s sincerity. However, trusting Kumud’s judgment, he supports her decision.
As the Navratri puja begins, Saras notices Kumud’s absence. Pramad volunteers to bring her, unaware of the storm brewing. Kalika, disguised, sneaks into the gathering, smirking as she prepares for the chaos ahead. Kusum warns Saras that if Pramad learns the truth, everything will collapse, and their deception will be exposed. Saras, steadfast, assures that he will protect Kumud.
Meanwhile, Kumud gathers her courage to confess to Pramad, but he interrupts, presenting her with a mangalsutra and sweetly placing it around her neck. As Kumud struggles to find the right words, Pramad asks for a chance to correct his past mistakes. Testing his sincerity, Kumud asks if he would forgive her for any mistake. When he asks what she means, she finally reveals the truth—Saraswatichandra is alive.
At that moment, Kalika continues her dance, hiding her face. Kumud explains that Alak unknowingly brought Saras into their home under the guise of Naveenchandra. Pramad is stunned. Budhidhan, overhearing, is equally shocked. As Pramad grapples with the revelation, Kalika seizes the opportunity to expose Saras’ true identity to everyone.
As Kalika reveals her face, the family is left speechless. She accuses Kumud of deceiving them, claiming Saras and Kumud conspired together. Budhidhan silences Kalika, demanding that she leave. However, Kalika turns to Pramad, trying to poison his mind against Kumud, insinuating that she would have used his wealth to run away with Saras. Furious, Saras retaliates, exposing Kalika’s own misdeeds—how she siphoned money into her account and manipulated Pramad.
When Kalika slanders Kumud again, Pramad, unable to tolerate it, slaps her and declares that Kumud is his wife, commanding her to respect that. Kumud and Saras exchange glances as the truth finally begins to unravel.
