Jhanak: Aniruddha Rejects Jhanak’s Child

Aniruddha refuses to accept Jhanak’s baby, believing she is trying to trap him. He lashes out at her, accusing her of disturbing his peace and stability.

Though he recalls their time together in Kashmir, his memory remains unclear. Doubt clouds his mind, making him suspect Jhanak and Aditya of conspiring against him.

Jhanak reminds him of how she always obeyed his instructions, even sacrificing her own marriage.

However, this time, she refuses to back down—she is determined to fight for her child.

She recalls how her mother, defeated by society, attempted suicide, and she vows not to let history repeat itself. She will seek justice for her baby.

Jhanak confronts Aniruddha, reminding him how he was unwell in Kashmir and had pulled her toward his bed. But Aniruddha, furious, questions if Aditya is the real father.

He assumes Aditya refused to take responsibility, leaving Jhanak to find a shelter by blaming him.

Enraged, Jhanak challenges Aniruddha, declaring that she will fight for her child’s rights.

She is ready to seek legal help and go to any extent for justice. Aniruddha is taken aback by her confidence. He demands to know why she didn’t resist if she was unwilling.

Overwhelmed with emotions, Jhanak confesses her deep feelings for Aniruddha, admitting she couldn’t control herself.

Meanwhile, Jhanak, Anjana, and Chhoton visit Mrinalini’s house to invite her to Appu’s wedding. While Mrinalini warmly welcomes Jhanak and Anjana,

she pointedly ignores Chhoton, still holding a grudge against him for a past insult. Jhanak steps in, attempting to mend their strained relationship.

After resolving the conflict, Anjana and Jhanak discuss their family’s difficult situation. Appu wishes to celebrate every ritual of her wedding.

Anjana requests Mrinalini’s permission to hold the ceremonies at her home. Excited, Mrinalini agrees and even offers financial support from her personal savings.

Elsewhere, Shubha and Lal visit the police station to seek help. They explain how Lalan tricked and manipulated Appu into marriage.

The police assure them that Lalan will be arrested before the wedding. To execute the plan, Shubha and Lal must pretend to support the union while secretly working to expose him.
