Saras and Kumud update Friday 7 March 2025
Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with a client appreciating the samples, and Danny escorts him out. Danny excitedly announces that the client has promised three more orders, bringing joy to everyone. Saras greets Badimaa and prepares to leave for some work.
Vidyachatur instructs Guniyal to prepare sweets in celebration and embraces Kumud. Danny brings jalebis, making everyone laugh. Kumud reflects that despite challenges, something good always follows. Vidyachatur agrees and expresses hope that Pramad will agree to the divorce. Kumud reassures him, stating that Pramad has no choice but to grant the divorce.
Meanwhile, an enraged Pramad encounters Saras standing in front of his car. Furious, he threatens to run Saras over. Saras confronts him, taunting that failure is a new experience for him. He reminds Pramad that he had warned him to stay away from Kumud. Vidyachatur laments his mistake in arranging Kumud’s marriage with Pramad.
Badimaa reassures him that things will work out. Kusum praises Saras, calling him a divine savior for Kumud and their family. Kumud is surprised to hear this. Pramad, refusing to back down, declares that Kumud will suffer in his house. Saras firmly replies that he will never let that happen. They exchange heated words before Saras walks away.
Later, Kumud learns that Saras saved their home from being auctioned. Kusum explains that Saras sold his mother’s land—his dream—to protect them. Overcome with emotion, Kumud discusses her plan to build a high school with her superior, who questions the source of funds. Kumud confidently assures him that she will arrange it and seeks his support. Meanwhile, Danny playfully scares Kumari, asking her to fry frozen food for him. She refuses and walks away.
Kusum supports Kumud’s vision for the school, and Kumud decides to name it Saraswati High School in honor of Saras’s mother. Overhearing this, Kalika laughs, scheming to sabotage their efforts.
Kumud is working on an application when Saras approaches her. She hides the papers, calling them exam questions. Curious, Saras picks up a stray paper and discovers the application form, smiling knowingly.
Meanwhile, Kalika informs Pramad about the school plan. Amused, he mocks Saras and Kumud’s determination, comparing them to film heroes. Kalika provokes him, challenging his power. In response, Pramad threatens to kill Saras, Kumud, and Kalika if she dares to leave him.
Saras and Danny visit an office to purchase land for the school. After negotiations, Saras successfully secures it. Kumud, unaware of this, excitedly tells Kusum that their application for the land has been approved. Danny surprises her with the news that Saras has already paid the token amount. When Kumud wonders how Saras knew about her plan, Kusum reminds her that their hearts are connected.
Saras and Kumud visit the land and exchange smiles. She enthusiastically shares her vision for the school and asks Saras if he wants to see the layout. He jokes about getting admission. When she questions why he sends Danny to follow her daily, he explains that if he did it himself, people would gossip. She thanks him and hands him a token amount for the land, but he refuses, saying he already has a token—her dream. Just then, Pramad arrives, claiming ownership of the land. The seller reveals that Pramad outbid Saras, demanding a higher price within a day if Saras still wants it. Pramad smirks at their predicament.
Determined, Kumud challenges Pramad, vowing to reclaim the land and inviting him to the Bhoomi Pujan (foundation ceremony). If the ceremony occurs, she demands that he grant her a divorce.
Vidyachatur and Saras worry about raising the required funds. Saras feels disheartened, fearing he might not fulfill Kumud’s dream. Meanwhile, Badimaa encourages Kumud to stay strong. Vidyachatur realizes that the villagers will support their cause, and Kumud comes to the same conclusion. She and Saras decide to collect donations from the people of Ratnagiri, believing the community will invest in their children’s future.
Together, they rally the villagers, explaining the school’s benefits and seeking contributions. The community slowly comes forward in support. Saras and Kumud exchange hopeful glances. A young boy falls, and Saras comforts him, making him laugh. Seeing this, Kumud smiles. Danny and Kumari also assist in the efforts.
Kalika notices Kusum gazing at Saras and taunts her about being in love with him. Kusum calmly replies that she was not looking at Saras’s face but at his heart, which beats only for Kumud. Kalika, envious, wishes Saras had feelings for her instead.
Danny and Kumari collect the donations, while Kumud prays, placing Saras’s mother’s anklet before God. She asks for blessings to make Saras’s dream come true. Saras, talking to his mother’s photo, reflects on his fate, which keeps bringing him closer to Kumud despite all odds. He vows to fulfill her every wish.
With the collected funds, Saras and the villagers successfully purchase the land. The entire family rejoices. Kumud gathers the children for the Bhoomi Pujan, but Pramad arrives, mocking their achievement. He sneers that education is secondary to entertainment for children. He ridicules Kumud for collecting money through “begging” and smugly reminds her of their deal. She reiterates her challenge—if the ceremony takes place, he must grant the divorce. Pramad smugly declares that the Bhoomi Pujan will not happen, as a drama troupe will occupy the site for the next six months.
The family feels disheartened, realizing the presence of the troupe will deter attendees from the ceremony. However, Kumud remains resolute. Danny suggests countering the troupe’s influence by performing a cultural act themselves. Saras proposes organizing a devotional performance to attract the villagers. Kusum watches Saras from a distance, while Kalika warns Pramad that Saras and Kumud are not easy to defeat. Pramad, however, remains confident, planning to break their unity from within.
Kumud suggests performing Radha-Krishna Katha, while Kusum proposes Meera’s story. Saras supports the idea. As preparations begin, Saras expresses concern about Pramad delaying the divorce if they fail. Danny and Kumari start rehearsing their roles in the play. Kusum questions whether Meera’s devotion to Krishna could be considered love, to which Kumud replies that true bhakti (devotion) is the purest form of love. Saras smiles as he listens. Guniyal notices Kusum’s lingering gaze on Saras and grows anxious.
Pramad arrives and provokes Saras, leading to a heated argument. Danny steps in to stop them. Pramad mocks their brotherly bond, reminding Danny that they are only stepbrothers. He further humiliates Danny by bringing up his mother’s past, calling her a well-known dancer in Ratnagiri. Danny is visibly hurt, and Saras is enraged at Pramad’s cruel words.
The episode ends with Saras looking at a deeply wounded Danny, while Pramad smirks, satisfied that he has sown discord between them.
