Saras and Kumud update Sunday 9 March 2025
Saras and Kumud: The episode of Saras and Kumud on 9 March 2025 begins with Kumud noticing the prasad and realizing that Saras lied to her confirming that Kusum is in serious trouble.
Meanwhile, Saras is engaged in a fierce fight with goons, trying to free Kusum. He is brutally beaten with rods but retaliates, defeating the attackers. Confronting one of them, Saras demands to know who sent them was it Pramad?
The man confirms Saras’s suspicion. Saras then rescues Kusum, who clings to him in tears. He reassures her, saying she’s safe with him.
Back at home, Kumari and Danny try to stop Kumud from confronting Saras, but she insists he lied to her and she can’t just wait. As she argues, Saras arrives with Kusum, who appears shaken and silent.
Worried, Kumud rushes to her, embracing her tightly. Saras assures Kumud that Kusum is fine, but Kumud blames herself for everything. They take Kusum inside.
Kumud exchanges a glance with Saras and then leaves. Saras follows, calling her name. Meanwhile, Danny stays with Kusum, covering her with a blanket.
As he prepares to leave, Kusum stops him, pleading, “Don’t go, I’m scared.” Danny assures her of his presence and sits with her. Kumari arrives and breaks down at the sight of Kusum.
Furious, Kumud storms into Pramad’s house and slaps him, demanding to know how he dared to harm Kusum. Pramad mockingly responds, asking what she will tell the police will she say her sister was assaulted?
As the family gathers, Kumud declares that Pramad kidnapped Kusum but was stopped by Saras. Pramad denies everything, challenging her to prove it. Kumud fiercely warns him to fight her directly instead of targeting her family. She vows that if anything else happens to her loved ones, no one will be able to save him from prison.
Kumud then approaches Pramad’s mother, urging her to find the strength to stand up against her son. Pramad glares at Kumud in anger, but she meets his gaze defiantly before walking away. Saras silently watches everything unfold.
Later, Kusum lies in bed with Kumari by her side. She recalls her past interactions with Saras—how he saved her and hugged her. As Saras and Kumud return home, Kusum sees them from her window.
Saras stops Kumud and questions why she confronted Pramad. She, in turn, asks why he lied to her and if he had considered what might have happened to Kusum. Saras admits he suspected Pramad and wanted to handle it alone. Kumud breaks down, worried for Kusum.
Saras tries to comfort her, and she leans her head on his shoulder. Kusum, watching from a distance, clutches a peacock feather and weeps, whispering, “I tried my best not to fall in love with you, but it happened, Saras.” Guniyal overhears this confession and is shocked. Kusum, seeing her mother’s reaction, is left speechless. Guniyal simply says, “Kusum…” but Kusum pleads, “Not now, Maa.” Guniyal leaves without another word.
Kumud and Saras share an emotional moment. Saras wishes he could express how much he cares for her, while Kumud assures him that she will always worry for him as well. Later, Saras checks on Kusum, asking how she’s feeling. She nods that she’s fine.
He advises her that physical wounds heal quickly, but the ones on the heart take longer. Kusum, lost in thought, believes that the pain in her heart will never fade. Kumud arrives, and Kusum immediately hugs her, apologizing. Kumud consoles her and promises she will protect her.
Meanwhile, Alak prepares to leave the house with Inkesh, outraged at Pramad’s actions his attempt to kill Kumud and his attack on Kusum. She refuses to live under the same roof as a criminal.
Pramad dismisses her departure, but Budhidhan warns his wife not to support their son. Finally, Pramad’s mother, awakened by the severity of his crimes, slaps him, acknowledging that her daughter has abandoned her because of him.
Kusum privately asks Kumud to keep everything a secret, fearing the consequences. Kumud, seeing Kusum’s distress, agrees to remain silent. She helps Kusum rest and offers her some milk.
Later, Saras and Kumud walk together, discussing whether they should reveal the truth to their uncle. Kumud insists that Kusum does not want anyone to know. Saras expresses concern that withdrawing the complaint against Pramad was a mistake.
Kumud admits it was, but reminds him that he also made mistakes—yet he was given a chance to make things right. She asks for the same opportunity. Saras insists that Pramad should be sent to jail, but Kumud refuses to go against Kusum’s wishes.
Saras, overwhelmed, admits, “If anything happened to you, I wouldn’t be able to live.” Kumud reassures him, telling him not to remind her of that fear again, before walking away.
At the school, Kumud teaches the children but is distracted by memories of Saras. Frustrated, she scolds a girl, but the child reminds her that everyone makes mistakes and deserves forgiveness.
Kumud realizes her harshness and apologizes. Suddenly, the children disappear. She finds them outside, standing with “SORRY” written on their backs. Saras joins them, dramatically apologizing. Kumud is surprised but dismisses him, sending the children to class.
Meanwhile, Guniyal talks to Kusum about her feelings for Saras. She reminds Kusum that she once supported Kumud’s rejection of Saras’s proposal, fearing that words spoken lightly might turn into reality. Kusum admits that she never planned for this to happen, but she now realizes her emotions.
Guniyal warns her that Saras will eventually discover the truth through her eyes and suggests an unexpected solution—marriage. Kusum is shocked as Guniyal proposes that she marry someone else and move on with her life.
Back at the school, Saras playfully arranges the children into formation, continuing his apology. Kumud insists that he should have apologized at home, but Saras counters that he wanted to make it special.
The kids spell out “SORRY” again, urging Kumud to forgive Saras. She dismisses them and tries to leave, but Saras stops her.
At home, Danny finds Kusum crying in her room and decides to cheer her up. He helps her organize her clothes and hands her a “magic” band, claiming it brings happiness. Kusum laughs at his story, and Danny is relieved to see her smile.
Before leaving, he gently tells her, “It’s not your fault, so don’t blame yourself.” But Kusum whispers to herself, “It is my fault—a big one.”
Saras and Kumud share a tender moment where Saras asks if he can wait for her so they can go home together. She agrees. He asks if he’ll have to wait long, and she shakes her head.
He smiles, longing for the past when they were truly happy. However, he hesitates, wondering if he is making another mistake.
Meanwhile, Budhidhan and his wife confront Pramad. They declare that they are leaving him to live alone—since that’s what he always wanted. Handing him some documents, Budhidhan tells him that his future is now his responsibility.
Later, Kumud finds Saras at the school’s construction site. She reminds him that he said he would wait for her, but he claims he had urgent work.
She suggests they eat together, but he lies about already having food and walks away. As she stops him by holding his hand, he instinctively pulls back, avoiding intimacy.
Kumud and Saras then spot a suspicious man behind some bushes. Kumud is startled, but Saras reassures her not to be afraid. She insists she isn’t scared—only cautious because someone is targeting her family. Saras walks away, and Kumud notices his distant behavior.
Meanwhile, Guniyal discusses Kusum’s marriage with Vidyachatur, suggesting that they start looking for proposals. Yash’s mother agrees, emphasizing that Kusum is of marriageable age.
When Vidyachatur asks if Kusum is ready, Guniyal confirms her agreement. That evening, a prospective groom’s family is set to visit. Kumud is shocked to learn about it, as no one informed her.
Kumud privately asks Kusum if she truly wants to get married. Kusum responds that maybe this is the best choice for everyone. Kumud, emotional, expresses how she never thought Kusum would leave so soon. Kusum, however, believes that distancing herself from Kumud and Saras is for the best.
