anupama

Anupama: The episode begins with Anupama receiving a contract letter. She stops the courier person and offers him sweets as a gesture of gratitude. Anuj reassures her, saying that while she may have lost hope, he never did.

He encourages her to read the contract, but Anupama asks him to read it aloud since it is written in complex English. As he reads, everyone observes them. Nandita questions why, despite their deep love, Anupama and Anuj haven’t married.

Anupama assumes that the contract must be fine since it was drafted by Mr. Mehta’s son. However, Anuj stops her, recalling how trusting the wrong person once led him to suffering.

He insists that she should read the contract herself before signing it. He then walks away, leaving Anupama reflecting on his words. Determined to ease his pain, she makes a phone call.

Meanwhile, Aadhya approaches Anuj, expressing happiness that he still waits for Anupama with the same intensity as his love for her.

She reassures him that Anupama is hesitant due to past mistakes and her current responsibilities. Anuj affirms that he would do anything for Anupama.

Later, Anupama finally reads the contract, while Anuj watches her reaction. She smiles, feeling shy. Meanwhile, Sagar is anxious as he loses track of where Baa and Dolly took Meenu.

Suddenly, Toshu and Pakhi arrive, joyfully dancing, followed by Baa, Dolly, and Meenu. However, Meenu looks upset.

Dolly announces that she has arranged Meenu’s marriage with a wealthy doctor. Baa supports the decision, while Dimpy expresses happiness. Sagar, however, is left in shock.

Anupama asks Meenu if she was forced into the marriage decision. Meenu firmly replies that it is her choice, adding that she has realized she and Sagar are not meant for each other.

Dolly warns everyone not to influence her daughter. Anupama, sensing something amiss, insists on knowing why Meenu suddenly agreed to marry a stranger.

Meenu dismisses further questioning, stating she does not owe anyone an explanation. Anupama then takes her away for packing.

Meanwhile, Toshu and Pakhi discuss how their future in-laws’ mansion is spacious and that they might be able to live there.

Pakhi, uninterested in business, simply wants to enjoy a luxurious lifestyle. At the same time, Nandita notices that Sagar has gone missing.

The family, including Baa, Toshu, Pakhi, and Dimpy, sets out to look for him. Pakhi mocks the family’s financial status, suggesting that they should ask for hand-me-downs from their wealthy relatives.

Just as everyone prepares to leave, Dimpy realizes that Meenu is missing from her room. Pakhi immediately speculates that she might have eloped with Sagar.

A furious Dolly turns to Anupama, accusing her of encouraging the elopement. Anuj defends Anupama, reminding everyone that they are already worried about Sagar. Baa demands to know where the couple is, while Dolly shouts, desperately seeking her daughter’s whereabouts.

At that moment, Meenu and Sagar enter, revealing that they are now married. The entire family is shocked. Meenu justifies their decision, saying they had no other choice.

Sagar adds that they had to marry in secrecy. Toshu, enraged, throws a glass at Sagar, but Meenu catches it and tosses it back at Toshu. She warns her brother not to disrespect her husband, while Sagar asserts that no one should insult his wife. Toshu mocks them, suggesting they will now have to travel in Sagar’s auto.

Dolly, furious, demands that Meenu remove her garland, sindoor, and mangalsutra. Baa insists that a marriage without family consent is invalid. Dolly proceeds to break the garland and is about to wipe off Meenu’s sindoor when Anupama intervenes.

She sternly declares that erasing sindoor is a sin. While she allows them to scold the couple, she warns them against wiping off the sindoor. She reminds Toshu and Pakhi that they, too, had eloped for marriage.

Meenu defends herself, stating that they never planned to marry this way but were forced into it because Dolly arranged her wedding without even consulting her. She questions why she wasn’t given a choice.

Baa reprimands her for blaming her mother. Dolly, furious, accuses Anupama and Anuj of setting a bad example, claiming that their love story encouraged Meenu and Sagar to do the same.

Meanwhile, Aadhya and Pakhi argue. Aadhya taunts Pakhi about learning the importance of Anupama after struggling in a hotel. Pakhi, enraged, raises her hand to slap Aadhya, but Anuj warns her not to raise her hand on a child. He also scolds Aadhya for interfering in adult matters.

Sagar then turns to Anupama, asking if she will welcome her new daughter-in-law. Meenu looks at her expectantly, asking if she believes they were wrong. Anupama acknowledges that love is never wrong, but their actions were.

She explains that while Dolly may have forced her decision on Meenu, Meenu and Sagar did the same by marrying without family approval. She clarifies that Dolly’s decision was out of love and concern, as every mother worries about her daughter’s future.

As Sagar attempts to address Anupama as “Anudi” (sister-in-law), she stops him, indicating that the discussion is not over.
