At Yash’s house, his mother praises Kusum in front of the groom’s family. Kumari brings Kusum in, and Vidyachatur introduces his daughters and Kumari. The groom’s family mentions Kumud, referring to her past, but Kumud firmly interjects, stating that she is in the process of a divorce. The groom’s mother then speaks to Kusum and invites her to sit down.

As Kumud hears a knock at the door, she steps outside but finds no one. Just as she turns to go back inside, she comes face to face with Pramad.
