Saras and Kumud update Monday 10 March 2025
Saras and Kumud 10 March 2025: The episode of Saras and Kumud on March 10, 2025, begins with Kumud spotting Saras and calling out to him. However, he ignores her and walks away, leaving her wondering what’s wrong. Meanwhile, Pramad reflects on Kumud’s words and the actions of Alak and his parents. Kalika finds Pramad sitting in the dark and, noticing the empty house, reminds him that they now have control over it. She offers to serve him wine, but he angrily throws the bottle away.
At Yash’s house, his mother praises Kusum in front of the groom’s family. Kumari brings Kusum in, and Vidyachatur introduces his daughters and Kumari. The groom’s family mentions Kumud, referring to her past, but Kumud firmly interjects, stating that she is in the process of a divorce. The groom’s mother then speaks to Kusum and invites her to sit down.
As Kumud hears a knock at the door, she steps outside but finds no one. Just as she turns to go back inside, she comes face to face with Pramad. She demands that he leave and threatens to call the police, declaring that she is no longer afraid of him. Pramad, feeling abandoned by his parents and Alak, pleads for sympathy, but Kumud remains firm, ordering him to leave.
Inside, the groom’s family reveals that they do not have a son, but instead, the groom is the woman’s brother. Vidyachatur is shocked, especially since Kusum is only 20 years old. The woman suggests that Kusum marry her brother while her brother’s daughter marries Yash, ensuring no dowry is involved. Kumud immediately refuses, insisting they will not send Kusum into such an arrangement. Yash’s mother attempts to silence her, but Kumud stands firm, saying she is speaking on behalf of her father. Vidyachatur agrees with Kumud and rejects the proposal.
Yash’s mother protests, but Kumud argues that Kusum deserves a suitable match, not a hasty arrangement like her own marriage. The groom’s family becomes offended, and Kusum, siding with Kumud, declares that she would rather remain unmarried than go against her sister’s wishes. The groom’s family leaves angrily.
Yash’s mother scolds Kumud and Kusum, saying that if Kusum were her daughter, she would have forced her into marriage. This leads to a heated argument with Guniyal and Vidyachatur, who accuse her of trying to sell Kusum while securing a bride for Yash. Kumud points out that the groom was a 55-year-old man, making the proposal unacceptable. Yash’s mother retaliates by taunting Kumud about her past with Saras. Kumud, unfazed, confidently states that she will find a worthy groom for Kusum.
Yash’s mother furiously claims that as long as Kumud is in the house, no one will marry the girls. She goes so far as to tell Badimaa that she should sacrifice Kumari for the family’s sake, just as she is willing to do with Kusum. Kumud, angered by this, reminds Yash’s mother that if her father shared the same regressive mindset, she would never have received the respect she enjoys as a widow. Humiliated, Yash’s mother storms off.
Meanwhile, Badimaa expresses concern about Saras and asks Danny about him. She also instructs Kusum to serve food to Danny. Saras arrives at the house but refuses to step inside, only coming to take Danny with him. When Badimaa urges him to eat, he claims he already has and leaves, making her suspicious about his changed behavior.
Later, Danny playfully teases Kusum about the marriage proposal, which annoys her. They chase each other, laughing, and Danny captures the moment in a photo. He later finds Saras and updates him on the chaos at home, particularly about the failed marriage proposal and Yash’s mother’s insults towards Kumud. Hearing this, Saras realizes that he has been too self-absorbed and decides that he must stand by Kumud, as she needs him.
That evening, Kumud is lost in thought, replaying Yash’s mother’s cruel words. Saras finds her, and she accuses him of showing up too late, after the day has already ended. She laments that every time she tries to move forward, something drags her back—like Pramad’s return. She worries that he will never leave her life and expresses her fears about the past ruining her happiness. Saras reassures her, telling her she has every right to live and be happy. He encourages her to smile and promises that Kusum will find the right partner. For the first time that day, Kumud manages a smile.
Later, Kusum sits in her room holding a feather. Kumud checks on her, asking if she’s still sad. Kumari then lightens the mood by dressing up like Yash’s mother and mimicking her, making Kusum laugh. They share a heartfelt moment, reaffirming their bond as sisters who will always support each other.
As they prepare for Diwali, Kumari and Kumud admire Kusum’s rangoli. Kumari jokes about Kusum’s devotion to Krishna, teasing her about her ideal man. Kusum describes a partner with honesty in his eyes, strength, understanding, and deep love. Saras arrives just as she mentions wanting someone who loves her selflessly. Kumari jokingly suggests she means Saras, which Danny overhears. Just then, Yash’s mother arrives and taunts the girls again.
Kumud stands up for Kusum, declaring that they are celebrating Diwali because Kusum was saved from an unfair marriage. Yash’s mother spitefully claims that no one will marry them after everything that has happened. Saras, angered, watches the exchange.
Meanwhile, Badimaa and Vidyachatur are out shopping for Diwali clothes. Though Guniyal is worried, Badimaa reminds her to enjoy the festival. Back home, Saras finds Kumud in tears while they clean chandeliers. The rejected groom’s family arrives and insults Badimaa and Vidyachatur, taunting them for Kusum’s refusal. Kalika joins in, taking pleasure in humiliating them by bringing up Kumud’s past with Saras.
Vidyachatur and Badimaa stand their ground, refusing to let their daughters be treated as commodities. Kalika continues to mock them, even sarcastically wishing them a “Happy Black Diwali.” Guniyal pushes her aside and leaves. Meanwhile, Saras burns his hand while lighting the chandeliers, and Kumud tenderly blows on it, leading to a secret exchange of emotions between them.
Later, Badimaa is overcome with guilt, blaming herself for Kumud’s hardships. Vidyachatur reassures her that she is their family’s strength and that Kumud shares her resilience. Guniyal urges her to stay strong for their daughter’s sake, reminding her that they must not let anything ruin their Diwali. Badimaa wipes her tears, determined to move forward.
That night, the family comes together, trying to celebrate despite the tensions. Saras arrives and silently urges Kumud to smile, which she does. Danny playfully complains that no one is paying attention to how handsome he looks. Kusum gifts him a friendship band, making him happy. Saras then distributes gifts, taking blessings from the elders. He gifts Badimaa a pair of sandals and helps her wear them, making her emotional. She blesses him, and he hugs her warmly.
Amidst the festivities, Kumud receives an unexpected call from Kalika. Furious, she demands to know why Kalika is calling. Kalika smugly reveals that Kumud’s family was humiliated in the market, delighting in their suffering. Shocked and hurt, Kumud looks at her family, feeling their pain.
Unable to contain her emotions, she finds Saras and, in frustration, breaks the chandeliers. She tearfully tells him that no matter how much light surrounds her, darkness always returns. She blames herself for her family’s humiliation and declares that she will never be able to smile again. Saras, deeply moved by her pain, comforts her in an embrace. Watching them from a distance, Badimaa takes in the scene with concern.
