Jhanak update Wednesday 12 March 2025

Jhanak: The episode begins with Lalon and Appu exchanging garlands.

Dadi reminds Lalon to take care of Appu, and he reassures her not to worry.

Chimli excitedly mentions how much fun they will have now, as their mother will take care of the household chores. Appu agrees happily. Dadi then calls them to the mandap.

Meanwhile, Anjana gets emotional, and Bablu asks why she is crying. She expresses her sadness about Appu leaving their home.

Bablu comforts her, assuring that Appu won’t be far and will be happy.

She laments that while she never expected much from Tanuja, she hoped Shubh would have shown more love to Appu earlier.

As Appu and Lalon sit in the mandap, Appu asks Jhanak to stay by her side. Jhanak promises she won’t leave. Appu insists, and Jhanak reassures her.

Meanwhile, Mimi and Rumi discuss Arshi and Jhanak.

Lalon wonders where Jhanak is, and she responds, saying she considers herself Appu’s younger sister Appu jokes, and Dadi playfully scolds her to be quiet. Jhanak and Anirudh exchange glances.

Suddenly, the police arrive at the house. Bablu asks them the reason for their visit, and the inspector demands to see Lalon. Lalon assures Appu not to worry and steps forward.

Bipasha and others smirk as the inspector announces that Lalon is under arrest. Everyone is stunned.

Chimli protests, saying the wedding hasn’t even taken place yet.

Shubh arrives and asks for details. The inspector accuses Lalon of being involved in a theft. Shubh pretends to be concerned.

The inspector insists that they have an arrest warrant and must take Lalon into custody. Chimli quickly calls Anuradha, informing her about the police and urging her to bring Kajal.

Anuradha promises to come immediately.

Lalon defends himself, stating he has done nothing wrong. Shrishti takes the opportunity to taunt the family, questioning if they would still give their daughter to a thief.

She calls the situation disgraceful and urges Arshi to leave with her. Arshi coldly labels Lalon a thief, but he tells her to stay out of it.

Anirudh intervenes, asserting that Lalon is not a criminal.

The inspector, however, insists that the law will decide.

Appu breaks down, insisting that Lalon is innocent. Lalon, suspecting foul play, directly accuses Shubh of setting him up.

Shubh feigns innocence, claiming he supports the marriage. Lalon firmly states that he has never been pursued by the police before and has always worked honestly.

Anuradha and Kajal arrive and plead with the inspector, stating that Lalon is not a thief.

Anuradha explains that Lalon’s father was a respected lawyer but was betrayed by his friends, which led to their current situation.

She insists she raised Lalon and Chimli with strong morals, and they would never engage in wrongdoing.

The inspector refuses to listen, saying the court will decide.

Kajal, angered, rallies the local people, urging them to protest against the wrongful arrest.

The community threatens the police, warning they will burn down the police station if Lalon is taken away unfairly.

The inspector, frustrated, tells them to stop interfering and let the law take its course.

Amidst the chaos, Appu takes a handful of sindoor and tells Lalon that she will go with him.

Moved by her trust, Lalon fills Appu’s maang with sindoor, sealing their marriage.

Anirudh demands more information about the case, but Shubh tries to dissuade him from getting involved. Anirudh insists on knowing the truth.

Tanuja reassures him that the police will release Lalon soon. He then tells Arshi that she can leave with her mother if she wishes, but he will stay as this matter is important.

Appu, still worried, asks if the police will harm Lalon. Choton assures her that no one can be called a criminal without proper proof.

Jhanak firmly states that they know their rights and will not let this injustice happen.

The entire family decides to accompany Lalon, refusing to leave him alone. Lalon is taken away by the police as the family follows.
