Jhanak update Thursday 13 March 2025
Jhanak: The episode begins with Bablu feeling anxious, while Shubh pretends to be supportive.
Tanuja criticizes the decision to let Lalon apply sindoor, but Anjana insists that Appu must accept reality she is now Lalon’s wife. Dadi laments that no one listened to her warnings.
Choton questions whether they were wrong in their judgment.
Anirudh suggests going to the police station, and Bablu agrees to accompany him.
Meanwhile, Shrishti urges Arshi to stop Anirudh, but Arshi dismisses it, saying he won’t listen.
She mocks Jhanak, claiming she always finds a way to act like a savior.
Jhanak overhears this and responds sharply, calling Arshi’s mindset petty. She explains that she is going to support Appu because she genuinely cares for her.
She defends Lalon, asserting that he is innocent and that someone else orchestrated this accusation.
She vows to expose the real culprit, questioning why Lalon was framed on his wedding day.
Choton agrees that they should go, and Jhanak comforts Appu, asking her not to cry.
Jhanak expresses her suspicions about who might be responsible, glancing toward Shubh. At the police station, a crowd protests.
Shubh attempts to pacify them, assuring them that he will speak to the commissioner since he is a lawyer and that they should let the police handle the situation.
Appu worries, but Anjana reassures her that Lalon is only being questioned and won’t be harmed. Meanwhile, Lalon argues with the inspector.
Shubh, pretending to help, speaks to the commissioner on the phone and then deceptively informs everyone that Lalon will be arrested.
He continues his act, manipulating Bablu and the others into believing that this situation is Lalon’s fault.
However, Anirudh urges the people to have faith in him, promising that if Lalon is innocent, no one can harm him.
Jhanak asks everyone to stay calm and assures them that she will go inside and talk it’s her responsibility.
Appu insists on accompanying her, but Jhanak tells her to trust that Lalon, being part of their family, deserves a fair chance.
Anuradha expresses gratitude to Jhanak for speaking on their behalf.
Anuradha then shares her family’s painful history, revealing that they once had wealth, respect, and security.
Lalon’s father was a renowned lawyer, but his trusted friends betrayed him, framing him in a false case.
He spent his life fighting for others but was ultimately broken by his own battle.
He fell into depression, stopped eating, and despite being against suicide, his spirit was crushed.
She had hoped Lalon would seek justice for his father, but he refused.
Now, he too is being framed in a false case. She breaks down, insisting that their family has always been honest they may struggle, but they would never resort to theft.
As the protests outside continue, Anirudh offers to speak with the authorities.
Shubh insists on joining him, but Jhanak refuses, stating that he has no right to interfere.
He retorts that she is an outsider and should stay out of family matters. Jhanak argues back and demands that Lalon’s family be allowed to know the truth.
Anirudh supports her, stating that Appu is his sister, Bablu is her father, and Shubh, as a lawyer, should advocate for them.
Shubh tries to exclude Bablu, but Jhanak stands firm, asserting that Bablu and Anjana see her as their daughter, and they have every right to be involved.
Frustrated, Shubh backs off, sarcastically telling Jhanak to handle it herself. Bablu, desperate, begs Shubh to intervene. Shubh smugly agrees to speak with the authorities.
Jhanak challenges him, questioning why he insists on going alone. She declares that if they aren’t allowed inside, she will join the protesters outside.
Shubh urges the crowd to remain calm, and they all proceed inside.
Inside the station, Lalon turns to Appu and asks if she trusts him. She confidently replies, Yes.
Lalon assures her that if she believes in him, no one can falsely accuse him.
Just then, Commissioner Bhattacharya arrives, and Lalon formally introduces himself.
Jhanak steps forward, passionately defending Lalon’s innocence.
Shubh, still playing his part, comments on how the entire family has been thrown into turmoil.
Bablu pleads with Commissioner Bhattacharya to help them, insisting that Lalon is a good man.
Just then, Choton arrives and vouches for Lalon’s integrity. Introducing himself as Shubh’s younger brother, he assures the commissioner that Lalon would never commit a crime and offers to answer any questions about him.
Bhattacharya acknowledges this testimony.
Anuradha, emotional, reminds the commissioner that he once knew her husband and should remember the kind of man he was.
Bhattacharya confirms that he indeed remembers and cryptically states, A person may die, but their name and deeds live on.
He then announces that he has a recording related to the case. Jhanak, curious, asks if it contains relevant evidence.
Bhattacharya nods, stating that patience will reveal everything. Anuradha fiercely declares that her son is not a thief.
Kajal and Chimli also stand up for Lalon, emphasizing his honesty. Bhattacharya, however, insists that the police must rely on evidence.
Appu, growing impatient, demands that he play the recording, complaining that she is exhausted and hasn’t eaten.
Amused by her innocence, the commissioner reassures her that Lalon will be released.
She naively replies, Okay, you are a good police officer.
Anirudh urges the commissioner to proceed quickly. Anuradha, suspicious, questions how he knows her husband’s name.
Bhattacharya cryptically responds that those who need to know, already do. He then plays the recording.
To everyone’s shock, they hear a conversation between Shubh and Lal, revealing that they had spoken to Bhattacharya and conspired to stop the wedding.
The entire family is stunned by this revelation.
