Jhanak: The episode begins with Jhanak stating that Appu would never say such a thing. She explains the value of a mother’s sacrifices for her child, emphasizing that a child can never fully repay them. Jhanak argues that it is her right to oppose this ritual, which she believes to be inauspicious, but leaves it to others to decide whether to accept her opinion. Dadi then instructs Anjana to tell Appu to throw the rice behind her.

Anirudh intervenes, stating that he does not want Appu to perform this ritual. Appu agrees, saying that, as Jhanak explained, she can never repay her mother’s efforts. She becomes emotional, expressing how much she will miss Anjana, and Anjana reassures her, wishing her happiness. Lalon asks everyone to stop crying, while Anuradha mentions that they should leave now since Kajal has already begun preparing for Appu’s arrival at their home. Anjana tells Appu to visit often, and Bablu questions whether this place truly feels like home. He expresses doubts about whether they will be treated with respect and states that if they had their own home, they could welcome guests with dignity.

Anirudh reassures everyone that he loves Appu deeply and will ensure that she receives the respect she deserves in this house. Anuradha expresses her hope that Lalon and Appu will remain happy but admits that she will not be able to visit frequently due to household responsibilities. Appu tearfully hugs everyone before leaving with Lalon. Meanwhile, Aditya calls Jhanak, and Anirudh notices. Aditya asks why she has not contacted him and inquires about her return. Jhanak explains that she is still busy with Appu’s wedding and plans to return in a few days. Aditya insists that she return sooner, revealing that a film producer has finalized a movie date.

He informs her that he has already booked her ticket. Jhanak questions his decision and offers to reimburse him, but he tells her not to worry about it. He expresses how empty Mumbai feels without her. Anirudh, in the meantime, consoles Bablu, who is in tears as he praises Appu. Anirudh then decides to inform Choton about Appu’s departure.

Jhanak, still on the call with Aditya, reassures him that she does not want to cause any embarrassment. She asks for the flight details and insists on taking a cab by herself rather than having him pick her up. Aditya, however, insists on meeting her at the airport. He then asks if she accomplished what she had set out to do. Jhanak, determined, replies that her fight is not over and that she will stand her ground to secure her baby’s rightful identity.

At that moment, Anirudh enters. Sensing tension, Jhanak quickly ends the call. Anirudh appears agitated and questions her actions, leading to an argument. He demands an explanation about the choices she made that night, implying deeper unresolved issues between them. Jhanak, frustrated, accuses him of twisting the narrative. Anirudh sarcastically tells her that she has a vivid imagination and should become a writer. She fires back, stating that she can write down the truth—including his name in it.

Anirudh coldly admits that even if what she says is true, she is still living with Aditya while expecting him to take responsibility for her baby. He accuses her of being manipulative, reminding her of all he has done for her career and personal struggles. He also reveals that his relationship with Arshi remains strained because of her.

Jhanak, visibly hurt, acknowledges that everyone has accused her, and now, even Anirudh has done the same. She insists that all she ever wanted was for her baby to have its rightful identity. She demands that Anirudh take responsibility. Furious, Anirudh declares that he hates her, saying that while Arshi may not be perfect, she is at least better than Jhanak.

As emotions run high, Jhanak tells him that one day he will regret his words and actions. She states that while she may forgive him, God will not. She warns that he will eventually face consequences for his actions. With a final look of defiance, she thanks him before walking away.
