my desire

My Desire: The episode begins with Kashvi revealing that she witnessed Arjun and Meera’s wedding. Dadi, shocked, asks if she was actually present. Kashvi explains that she arrived just in time to see Meera lifting Arjun’s sehra. She breaks down, questioning how Arjun could betray her, especially when she had been so happy about some good news. Dadi asks what she means, but Kashvi replies that it no longer matters.

Heartbroken, Kashvi thinks about how she had planned to start a new life with Arjun, but everything has fallen apart. Meanwhile, Meera confronts Vikram, asking if he forced Arjun to marry her. She also demands to know where Mohan is. Just then, hospital ward boys arrive with a stretcher carrying Mohan’s lifeless body. A doctor hands Arjun some paperwork, asking him to sign for the release of the body. Meera, unaware at first, asks whose body it is. As she notices the mehendi on Mohan’s hand, a sinking feeling takes over. Trembling, she lifts the white sheet covering his face and is horrified to see Mohan lying lifeless. Memories of their time together flood her mind, and she screams his name in anguish. She pleads with him to wake up, insisting that today was supposed to be their wedding day.

Arjun, holding back his emotions, signs the papers, and the ward boys take Mohan’s body away. Vikram then explains to Meera that Mohan had died due to electrocution while fixing the wedding decorations. Devastated, Meera lashes out, asking if he really thought she would marry someone else so easily. Vikram argues that he couldn’t allow her to become a mother without marriage.

Fighting back tears, Meera asserts that the baby she’s carrying was her and Mohan’s choice, and she doesn’t need anyone’s interference. Meanwhile, Arjun recalls Vikram’s insistence that no one should find out about Karun. Speaking up, Arjun tells Meera that as a father himself, he understands how society would judge her child. Meera, however, points out that they have no feelings for each other and that Arjun still loves Kashvi. Arjun agrees but states that Kashvi is leaving, and Karun will never accept her. He explains that he is willing to do anything for his son, and Vikram helped him see that this was the only way. Despite this, Meera firmly declares that she will raise her child alone.

Vikram tries to convince her otherwise, insisting that one day she will accept this arrangement and that Arjun will be a good husband. Meera, however, remains resolute, refusing to acknowledge the marriage.

Meanwhile, Dadi offers Kashvi some water and suggests that she should talk to Arjun at least once. Kashvi, still reeling from the betrayal, refuses, saying she will never speak to him again. Dadi urges her to consider the possibility that Arjun had a reason for marrying Meera, emphasizing that she should confront him to find out the truth.

Elsewhere, Arjun approaches Meera, who immediately tells him to leave her alone. Arjun sympathizes with her, acknowledging that her life has changed drastically. He explains that he understands her father’s perspective and the desperation behind his decision. A father will do anything to protect his child, he says. He reassures Meera that their marriage will be in name only—they can remain friends, even best friends, but there will never be a husband-wife relationship between them.

Meera, still in shock, asks what this means for Kashvi. Arjun, unable to meet Kashvi’s eyes, confesses that he can’t face her. He knows that once she learns the truth, she will be devastated. However, he believes that if she hates him, it will help her move on. Determined, he tells Meera that they must make Kashvi believe that the marriage was entirely his choice. He makes Meera promise never to reveal the truth, saying that once her father recovers, they will end their marriage. Even then, he insists, Kashvi must never know the real reason behind it. With tears in her eyes, Meera agrees.

Later, Meera’s grah pravesh (ceremonial home entry) takes place, but just then, Kashvi arrives. Nitya stops her, saying she cannot enter. Ignoring her, Kashvi steps forward and stares directly at Arjun and Meera. She demands to speak to Arjun in private. Meera hesitantly calls out to Kashvi, but Kashvi coldly dismisses her, saying she has nothing to discuss with her.

Taking Arjun outside, Kashvi demands an explanation. She asks why he married Meera. Arjun, keeping up the pretense, coldly replies that since Kashvi was leaving for Delhi and they could never be together because of Karun, he was free to marry whomever he wanted. Stunned, Kashvi questions why he’s speaking this way and how he could marry someone he barely knows. She also asks why he was wearing Mohan’s sherwani.

Arjun then drops the bombshell—Mohan is dead. Kashvi is left speechless, struggling to process this revelation. Arjun continues, saying that he felt sorry for Meera and, as a result, married her. Kashvi, barely able to contain her emotions, asks if he even considered talking to her before making such a huge decision. Didn’t he care about her at all?

Arjun then delivers another blow, claiming that he and Meera have known each other for a long time and are more than just friends. When Kashvi accuses him of lying, Arjun doubles down, saying that during Devraj’s daughter’s wedding, he and Meera had feelings for each other but chose to hide them due to the circumstances. However, after Mohan’s death, they decided to stop running from the truth and start their life together.

Kashvi is left shattered by Arjun’s words, not knowing what to believe anymore.
