Saras and Kumud update Sunday 16 March 2025

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Kumud arriving to meet Saras. Danny informs her that Saras is inside. As she enters, she finds Saras angry with her. He asks, “How long will you keep waiting?” She responds, “Until I get my answers.”

Meanwhile, Pramad addresses the villagers, warning them not to speak against Kumud. He takes full responsibility for everything that happened to her. The villagers call him mad, but he insists they must respect the Desai family, as he is connected to them. He even refers to Kumud as his wife.

Outside the house, Saras and Kumud argue. Kumud questions Saras about letting Pramad go free. Just then, the police arrive and inform Pramad that they have received a complaint against him for attempting to kill Kumud. They take him into custody. Pramad soon realizes that Kumud herself filed the complaint, and he laughs, repeating her name.

Saras tells Kumud that Pramad wants to apologize, but Kumud is furious. She accuses Saras of keeping things from her while expecting her to inform him about her every move. She storms off in anger, leaving Saras troubled about how to reveal Pramad’s condition to her.

Meanwhile, Danny tries to confess his love to Kusum, but mistakenly ends up speaking in front of Kalika instead. Kalika is delighted, knowing she now has proof of Danny’s feelings. She notices a rose that Danny had left for Kusum. She quickly leaves Kusum’s room before Kusum arrives.

When Kusum enters, she spots the rose and wonders who left it there. She also notices a peacock feather and becomes emotional. Kalika arrives with tea, but Kusum refuses her help. Kalika comments on the beauty of the rose and suggests that perhaps someone left it for her. Kusum dismisses her. Kalika then remarks that she seems to cherish the peacock feather, but warns her against waiting for things she cannot have. “You will never find happiness that way,” she adds.

Badimaa intervenes, calling Kalika away, then encourages Kusum to accompany her to deliver food to Saras and Danny. Kusum hesitates, but Badimaa insists she needs a change. She places the rose in Kusum’s hair and tells her not to remove it. Reluctantly, Kusum agrees to go.

Later, Danny asks Saras if they should visit Vidyachatur’s house for lunch, but Saras refuses. Badimaa arrives with food and notices something is wrong. She asks Saras if he and Kumud fought again. Saras admits that Kumud is upset with him because she never expected him to hide something from her. Badimaa advises him to tell her the truth, assuring him that he will be there to support her.

Danny sees Kusum wearing the rose and excitedly asks if she is still angry with him. She replies that she is not. Overjoyed, he thanks her, expressing how happy he is. Kalika watches them from a distance and then brings sweets, claiming that Badimaa forgot them. Badimaa instructs Kusum to serve food to Saras and Danny before leaving with Kalika.

At home, Badimaa asks Vidyachatur if Pannaben called. Meanwhile, Guniyal speaks to Chandrika about the situation, concerned that the issue will affect Kusum’s life. Chandrika reassures her, saying Kusum is not at fault—Pramad was the one who visited Kumud. Kumud agrees but feels guilty that her actions may have insulted Kusum’s potential in-laws. She insists on apologizing to them.

Guniyal believes they need to be honest about everything, but Yash’s mother questions whom Kumud intends to apologize to. Meanwhile, Mohan, the potential groom for Kusum, tries to persuade his mother to accept Kusum. She worries about societal opinions and refuses, but Mohan declares that he will not marry anyone other than Kusum.

Kumud decides to meet Mohan’s family, and Badimaa supports the idea, saying Mohan would be a good match for Kusum. Soon, Vidyachatur receives a call from Pannaben. Everyone watches anxiously as he takes the call. When he hangs up, he announces that Mohan’s family has agreed to the marriage. Everyone rejoices, congratulating each other.

Kusum enters, and Kumud embraces her. In the process, the rose falls from Kusum’s hair. Danny is heartbroken upon hearing the news. Kalika seizes the moment, handing Danny a sweet and urging him to feed it to Kusum. With a heavy heart, he does so, congratulating her. Kumari teases Kusum, but Kusum remains silent. As she leaves, Kalika smirks, whispering to herself that two hearts are breaking, and only she can hear them shatter.

Later, Kusum lights diyas in the temple. Danny approaches her and questions why she is choosing to bring darkness into her own life. He pleads with her to tell everyone she doesn’t want the marriage.

Meanwhile, Kumud visits Saras at his home. He welcomes her, and she informs him about Kusum’s finalized engagement. She apologizes to him, but he insists that he is the one who should be sorry.

Danny, still heartbroken, confronts Kusum. He urges her to think about her own happiness instead of prioritizing others. She refuses to change her decision, stating that the marriage is for the best. Danny prays to God, asking why Kusum is being taken away from him. Determined, he vows not to let it happen.

Back at Saras’s house, Saras finally starts to tell Kumud the truth. However, Kumud interrupts him, saying her pain is not from what he hid but from his belief that she is too weak to handle it. She asks why he kept her in the dark. Saras promises to tell her everything, explaining that Pramad is still connected to her present. He acknowledges that she will have to face him.

Just as he is about to reveal Pramad’s condition, Danny rushes in, saying he needs to speak with Saras urgently. Saras leaves with Danny, and soon after, Kumud receives a call from the inspector. He informs her that Pramad is suffering from a serious illness and only has a few days left to live. Shocked, Kumud processes this devastating news, while in the lockup, Pramad smiles.
