Soulmate: Sachin Struggles for Work, Sayali Seeks Help

The episode begins with Sachin and Sayali arriving home in an auto rickshaw. Paresh notices this and questions Sachin about it. Before facing him, Sachin quietly asks Sayali not to mention anything about the car. Paresh inquires why they took an auto, to which Sachin responds that Sayali’s house is far. Suspicious, Paresh asks about his car’s whereabouts. Sachin hesitates but insists it’s in its usual place and urges Paresh to drop the matter.

Renu notices their return and eagerly checks what Sayali’s family gifted them for Navratri. She is quick to point out the absence of any gold jewelry. Sachin jokes, trying to diffuse the tension, but Renu seizes the moment to insult Sayali’s family. Sayali firmly states that her mother respects traditions, but Renu continues to taunt her.

To shift the attention, Sachin grabs Tejas and questions him about the gifts he received from his in-laws. This causes Renu and Roshni to become anxious. Sachin then sarcastically notes that despite Roshni’s father being wealthy, Tejas has no gold on him. Renu justifies it by saying Tejas hasn’t visited his in-laws’ house, but Sachin points out that he himself did and was gifted a gold ring. However, he gave it to Juhi instead, asserting that he is not as greedy as Tejas and that Sayali’s family followed customs properly. Sayali looks on silently.

Paresh interrupts, once again pressing Sachin for an answer about his car. Sachin quickly fabricates a story, claiming that the moneylender’s daughter borrowed it for a week. Renu immediately mocks him, stating that this means he’ll be jobless for a week. Roshni then interjects, reminding them that Sayali was about to say something. Renu urges Sayali to speak, but Sachin covers up by saying she was merely repeating what he had already mentioned.

Renu worries about their financial situation, explaining that she has ordered household essentials and needs money. To ease the tension, Roshni hands over some cash, saying it is her and Tejas’ contribution. Renu thanks them but takes the opportunity to taunt Sachin and Sayali once again.

Frustrated, Sachin responds with a joke at Tejas and Roshni’s expense, which irritates Roshni. She asks Tejas why Sachin is speaking this way, to which Tejas replies that body-shaming is unacceptable. Paresh, fed up with the arguments, orders Renu to stay quiet. He tells Sachin to take the week off and rest before walking away. Renu, still fuming, directs her anger at Sayali.

Later, Sachin receives a call from Anya. Meanwhile, Sayali thanks him for standing up to Renu. Sachin reassures her that he will always speak up when something wrong is said. However, he remains worried about their financial situation. Sayali suggests telling the family the truth, but Sachin refuses, determined to find a job instead.

The next morning, Sachin sets out to look for work. He approaches a man he knows, who is surprised to see him. Sachin explains that he needs a job since he no longer has his car. He admits that due to an emergency at home, he had to sell it. He asks for a rental car, promising to make timely payments. However, the man refuses, revealing that Sachin has angered the finance company’s head, who also happens to be the leader of the drivers’ union. The financer has ordered all travel agencies to blacklist Sachin, leaving him without options.

Sachin tries to reason with the man, offering to bring double the profit. But the man declines, saying that going against the financer would cost him his own fleet of cars. Realizing he’s in a difficult position, Sachin still remains determined, stating that he knows how to turn failure into victory. He leaves, continuing his search for work but facing rejection after rejection. Eventually, he breaks down, overwhelmed by his struggles.

Meanwhile, Sayali arrives at a different location where Dilip meets her. She notices his bike and asks whose it is. Dilip tells her it belongs to a friend and explains that he rushed over after receiving her call. Curious, he asks her what happened.

Sayali hesitantly asks if he knows any moneylender, as she wants to mortgage her gold bangles for ₹10,000. Dilip is taken aback and immediately suspects that Renu is mistreating her. He offers to lend her the money himself. However, Sayali questions how he would arrange for it.
