Saras and kumud: The episode begins with Mohan’s mother expressing her concern to Vidyachatur, saying that perhaps their union is not meant to be, as even fate seems to be against it. Badimaa reassures her, insisting that they will find the missing ring. Everyone searches frantically for it. Meanwhile, Kalika approaches Danny, questioning what he is doing. She reminds him that it’s just an engagement, not a wedding, and hints that Kusum might not be happy. She asks for the ring, and Danny reluctantly hands it over to her. Kalika smugly declares that she has found it.

Saras suggests to Kumud that they should inform their family about their whereabouts. However, Kumud dismisses the idea, saying they will be home soon anyway. Kalika returns the ring to Kusum.

Mohan’s mother advises Mohan to reconsider his decision. Nevertheless, Kusum places the ring on Mohan’s finger, completing the engagement. The guests applaud while Danny watches Kusum, noticing her distress. Vidyachatur embraces Mohan and his father, congratulating them. He also expresses his gratitude to Pannaben, inviting everyone to partake in the meal. At that moment, Danny spots Saras and Kumud arriving.

Danny informs Vidyachatur of their return. Kusum is eager to meet Kumud, but Badimaa stops her, instructing her to remain with the guests. Kusum, however, insists on meeting her sister. Vidyachatur decides to intervene, approaching Saras and Kumud to ask where they had suddenly disappeared to. As soon as Kusum sees Kumud, she rushes to embrace her, expressing her frustration. Kumud apologizes, but Kusum demands to know how she could have abandoned her on such an important day.

Saras explains that Kumud was unwell, and he took her to see a doctor. He further clarifies that he didn’t answer any calls because he had left his phone in the car. Concerned, the family members inquire about Kumud’s health. She assures them that she is fine. Badimaa urges them to come inside, as the guests are waiting. Later, Kumud confronts Saras about lying. He reminds her of the trouble they faced the last time Pramad appeared and how Vidyachatur had reacted.

Kumud, frustrated with all the deceit, questions why Saras keeps making decisions without consulting her. Saras argues that he only lied for her sake, saying that if she hadn’t gone to meet Pramad, there would have been no need for lies. Kumud, however, points out that everyone is happy, and Kusum’s engagement took place without any interruptions—because she had ensured Pramad would not show up. She walks away, leaving Saras in deep thought.

Meanwhile, Badimaa instructs Danny to fetch the engagement gifts from Kusum’s room. Kalika offers to accompany him. As they go upstairs, she tries to manipulate Danny, calling his attempt to hide the ring childish. She tells him that Kusum doesn’t love him and suggests that Kusum’s sadness during the engagement wasn’t because of him but for another reason. She encourages Danny to pay close attention to Kusum’s feelings and discover what’s truly in her heart. Danny is skeptical, but Kalika insists that Kusum loves Saras. Danny is stunned and accuses Kalika of having a twisted mindset.

Kalika laughs, implying that Danny will eventually realize the truth. However, Danny refutes her claim, showing her Kusum’s belongings—his gifts, their photographs, and a peacock feather she cherishes. He believes these are proof of her love for him. Kalika, however, argues that Kusum only sees him as a friend. As she observes Danny’s reaction, she thinks to herself that Pramad should have been there to take advantage of the situation.

Outside, Saras is taken aback when he sees Pramad arriving at the house with a bouquet. Inside, Kumud is greeting the guests when Pannaben asks about her health. Meanwhile, Saras rushes to stop Pramad, but before he can intervene, Pramad has already stepped inside. The guests are shocked to see him, and Kumud is left speechless.

Pramad greets everyone warmly, offering his best wishes. He instructs Danny to call Saras inside. When Saras arrives, Pramad hands the bouquet to Kusum, claiming to be genuinely happy for her. Kalika watches the unfolding drama with interest.

Pramad expresses his hope that everything turns out well for Kusum. He then apologizes, revealing that Kumud had visited him earlier. The revelation shocks everyone. Pannaben protests, saying Kumud was home because she was unwell. Pramad contradicts her, stating that he himself is unwell, and Kumud had come to check on him. He praises Kumud for her kindness and selflessness, implying that no one else would have left their sister’s engagement for such a reason.

This revelation causes a stir. Vidyachatur is furious and demands confirmation. Pramad confirms that Saras and Kumud had visited him, which is how he found out about Kusum’s engagement. He explains that his doctor had advised him not to leave his house, but he couldn’t resist coming—after all, Kumud is still his wife, and this family was once his own. He even refers to Kusum as his younger sister.

Kalika watches in amusement, impressed by Pramad’s acting skills, wondering if his emotions are genuine or just another ploy.

Pramad requests that Pannaben not misunderstand Kumud, revealing that his parents had insisted on her visit. He praises Kusum, saying she will be a wonderful addition to their family, just like Kumud. He then presents gifts and begins to leave, but Pannaben invites him to attend the wedding. Pramad accepts the invitation and turns to Kumud, reminding her that they will meet in court the next day, marking the official end of their relationship.

After the guests leave, Guniyal scolds Kumud for visiting Pramad without informing them. Vidyachatur also reprimands her, expressing his disappointment. Badimaa questions how she could have gone alone. Kumud clarifies that Saras had accompanied her.

Vidyachatur reminds them that Pramad had once tried to kill Saras and asks what would have happened if Saras had gotten hurt again. Kusum, feeling betrayed, accuses Kumud of choosing Pramad over her. She tearfully expresses how much it hurt that Kumud left her engagement to meet the very man who had wronged her.

Kumud tries to explain that she went to stop Pramad from disrupting the engagement, but Kusum points out that he still showed up. Hurt, she tells Kumud that she will never forget her absence on such an important day. Guniyal agrees that Kumud should have consulted them before taking such a decision. Kumud, overwhelmed, admits that perhaps she made a mistake and should not have returned home at all. Kusum leaves in anger. Vidyachatur ends the conversation, instructing everyone to get some rest and discuss matters the next day.

Later, Kumud and Kumari try to comfort Kusum. Kumud brings her food and attempts to make amends. Kusum almost confesses her love for Saras but stops midway. Instead, she expresses her anger and disappointment. However, after hearing Kumud’s explanation, she forgives her. The sisters embrace and cry together. Kusum reassures Kumud that after tomorrow’s court hearing, she will finally be free.

The next morning, Danny attempts to confide in Saras, but Kalika interrupts by bringing food. Saras leaves for the court. Kalika tries to manipulate Danny once again, urging him to make Kusum admit her feelings. Danny, though hesitant, considers her advice.

Meanwhile, Saras reassures Kumud before the hearing, drawing a smiley on her palm to lift her spirits. In court, Kumud presents her case, detailing Pramad’s abusive behavior. To everyone’s shock, Pramad does not contest the allegations but instead asks for one last chance to atone for his mistakes.

Outside, Saras expresses his deep commitment to Kumud. He formally asks Vidyachatur for her hand in marriage. Overjoyed, Vidyachatur and Badimaa bless him. Saras, excited, plans a surprise for Kumud, unaware that inside the courtroom, Pramad is making a final plea—requesting to spend his last days with Kumud.

As Saras purchases an engagement ring, Kumud, shocked by Pramad’s request, refuses outright. The hearing takes an unexpected turn as Pramad starts coughing, leaving Kumud stunned.
