 Jhanak Faces a Life-Threatening Diagnosis

The episode begins with Aditya asking the doctor if the tests have been completed. The doctor informs him that Jhanak is not pregnant but has a tumor. Shocked, he listens as the doctor explains that it is a significant tumor and cannot be ignored. An urgent operation is needed. Aditya insists that the best possible treatment should be given to her. The doctor assures him that they can perform the surgery the next day after conducting a few more tests and asks him to sign a bond.

Aditya clarifies that he is Jhanak’s friend, and when asked who will sign the bond, he volunteers, saying she has no family. He expresses his concern, mentioning that she has just signed a film and needs to survive. The doctor reassures him that Jhanak will be able to resume normal activities once she recovers. Aditya asks if he can meet Jhanak and whether she has been informed. The doctor confirms that she has.

Meanwhile, Jhanak reflects on her situation, relieved that Anirudh will not have to suffer because of their past. She wishes she could share her thoughts with him, as she respects their relationship. In another scene, Anirudh is in his room speaking with Arshi, who is frustrated. She complains that their relationship has faced endless problems since Jhanak entered their lives. Comparing their lives to her friends’ smooth marriages, she blames Anirudh and insists he accompany her to Dubai for a program. He agrees but mentions he needs to apply for leave. Arshi taunts him, hoping that Jhanak doesn’t interfere, and insults her character.

Back at the hospital, Aditya visits Jhanak and apologizes for wasting her time and missing his meals. Jhanak dismisses his concerns. He mentions the bond-signing, which alerts Jhanak, as such documents are required when there are risks in surgery. Meanwhile, Arshi continues berating Anirudh, saying Jhanak and her mother are alike and expressing her resentment toward his family for still respecting Jhanak. Anirudh tries to calm her down, but she insists that he is still affected whenever she mentions Jhanak.

Jhanak, on the other hand, appears resigned to her fate. She states she has no fear of dying since she has no child or anyone to mourn her loss. Aditya, visibly emotional, responds sarcastically, pretending to flirt, but his pain is evident. She notices the change in his demeanor and asks about it. He admits that heartbreak and betrayal had once made him a playboy, but Jhanak reminded him that true love exists. He explains that despite love being painful, life without it is meaningless.

She then asks him to inform Anirudh about her surgery. When he questions why, she insists that despite their legal separation, their marriage was real to her, and she will always consider Anirudh her husband. She expresses her love for him, recalling how she ran to inform him about the baby. Since she is about to undergo a major surgery, she believes he should know.

Meanwhile, Arshi and Anirudh continue arguing. Anirudh refuses to agree with his father’s past decisions, stating that no one has the right to control another person’s life. When he questions the permanence of any marriage, Arshi is left shocked. Aditya, fulfilling Jhanak’s request, calls Anirudh. When Anirudh picks up, Arshi questions him about the caller. Aditya informs Anirudh about Jhanak’s critical surgery, saying she insisted he be told.

Anirudh, confused, asks what the surgery is for. Aditya criticizes him for how he treated Jhanak, stating that despite everything, she still values informing him. He then reveals that Jhanak was never pregnant. The symptoms were actually caused by a large tumor in her stomach. Anirudh is left in shock as the episode ends.
