Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Kusum feeling restless as she thinks about Saras. Overcome with emotions, she scribbles Saras’s name all over the wedding card, covering Mohan’s name. Hearing footsteps approaching, she quickly tears the card into pieces. Pramad enters the room and notices her presence. He asks why she is there when everyone is waiting for her Haldi ceremony. Meanwhile, Saras arrives with a gift for Kumud.

Kumud tells Saras that she is hungry, and he agrees, saying he feels the same. Pramad then speaks to Kumud, advising her to rethink her decision. He tells her that if she has any doubts, she should not proceed with the marriage. Kusum, surprised by his words, asks what he means. Pramad explains that broken relationships cause deep pain and uses his own failed marriage with Kumud as an example. He tells her that even though Kumud married him, her heart still belongs to Saras. Kusum defends Kumud, stating that Kumud tried to uphold their marriage, but Pramad was the one who failed her. Pramad, however, insists that he also lost and warns Kusum not to make a decision that will cause suffering to everyone involved. He advises her to think carefully, as life is precious and should not be wasted. Kusum then leaves with him as everyone is waiting for the ceremony.

Saras gently touches the clothes he brought for Kumud as a gift. Apologizing to her, he acknowledges their unbreakable bond but admits he does not understand why he got so angry at Pramad. Kumud smiles and accepts the gift, assuring Saras that it is as difficult for her as it is for him. She pleads with him not to be upset and asks for his support, urging him not to distance himself from her. Saras reassures her, saying he will always be by her side.

Meanwhile, Guniyal is worried about Kusum. In the hallway, Kusum runs away, crying. Danny notices her distress and follows her. He asks why she is crying, and Kusum admits that she does not want to get married and is confused about what to do. Danny tells her to calm down and asks if she is certain about her decision. When Kusum confirms, Danny misunderstands and assumes she means something else. He reassures her, saying he will talk to Saras while she speaks with Kumud. He promises to take care of everything and encourages her to smile, which she does.

Guniyal arrives and tells Kusum to get ready as everyone is waiting. Kumud excitedly tells Saras that she has bought a new saree for Kusum’s wedding. Kumari playfully grabs it and runs away with it. Meanwhile, Kumud stops Kalika and questions her about what she is hiding. Kalika denies any wrongdoing, but Kumud confronts her about bringing wine for Pramad. Kalika insists she would never do such a thing. At that moment, Pramad arrives and takes the package from Kalika.

Kumud taunts Pramad, saying she does not trust him. However, Pramad surprises her by giving her a green saree as a gift. He explains that it is from his first salary and that although he wanted to buy gifts for everyone, he could only afford one for her. He adds that this will be his last gift to her. Kumud reluctantly accepts the saree as Saras watches her, noticing her torn emotions.

Later, Danny speaks to Saras about Kusum, revealing that she also confessed she does not want to marry Mohan. Danny tells Saras that he loves Kusum deeply and pleads for his help. Meanwhile, Kusum confides in Kumud, asking her to promise to support her. Kumud agrees and asks what is wrong. Kusum then admits that she does not want to marry Mohan, leaving Kumud in shock.

Danny, speaking to Saras, admits he does not know when he fell in love with Kusum, but his feelings are genuine. Saras asks him what he expects him to do. Kusum, on the other hand, tells Kumud that she has fallen in love with someone else and can no longer suppress her feelings. She refuses to marry anyone else. Kumud insists that love is not a crime and asks her to reveal the name of the person she loves. Before Kusum can respond, Guniyal interrupts and sternly takes her away, dismissing the conversation as unimportant. Kumud tries to protest, but Guniyal insists that everyone is waiting.

Kumud is left wondering how she was unaware of Kusum’s feelings. Meanwhile, Saras warns Danny to think carefully before making a decision. Danny is confident in his love for Kusum. Saras, however, expresses concern that revealing this information so late might cause complications. Just then, Kalika arrives, interrupting them. She smirks, implying she knows about Kusum’s feelings. Saras dismisses her, but she teases Danny, saying Kusum needs him. As she leaves, Saras realizes the seriousness of the situation and reassures Danny that Kusum will not be forced into marriage against her will.

The Haldi ceremony begins, and Kusum sits down while everyone watches her. Guniyal hopes Kusum remains patient. Saras reveals to Kumud that Kusum is in love with Danny, shocking her. As Kumud applies Haldi to Kusum, Pannaben insists that Kumud and Pramad should apply Haldi together, believing it is auspicious. Pramad obliges but later pretends to cough, excusing himself from the ceremony. Kumud takes him to his room to give him medicine, but he confesses that he faked it to avoid putting Haldi on her, as Saras is the only one who has that right. Kumud hands him the medicine and leaves.

Pramad then tells Kumud that he has noticed Kusum’s unhappiness about the wedding. He believes something is wrong, but Kumud dismisses his concerns. Later, Saras and Kumud discuss how to handle the situation. Saras insists they must tell the family, while Kumud decides to speak to her mother first. However, Guniyal scolds Kusum, accusing her of betraying Kumud by falling in love with Saras. She throws water on Kusum, forcing her to face reality. Kusum, however, refuses to sacrifice her love.

Kumud overhears this and intervenes, defending Kusum’s right to happiness. Guniyal, however, warns that Kusum’s decision could shatter the family. Badimaa steps in and takes Kusum away. Kumud pleads with Guniyal, saying that forcing Kusum to marry Mohan would be unfair to him as well. Guniyal asks if Saras knows about this, and Kumud confirms, adding that Saras also wants Kusum to be happy. Guniyal misunderstands Kumud’s words and asks for time to process everything, instructing her not to tell anyone yet.

Saras later finds Kumud lost in thought and asks if she spoke with Guniyal. Kumud tells him that her mother will not accept the situation easily. Saras realizes how difficult this will be, as the family sees Kusum’s wedding as a sacred event. Meanwhile, Guniyal warns Kusum that she is taking away Kumud’s happiness. Kusum insists that she cannot sacrifice her love. Guniyal reminds her that the family will suffer, urging her to reconsider.

As the wedding preparations continue, Kumud struggles with her emotions. Pramad observes her distress and sarcastically remarks that Saras should be the one sitting beside her in the rituals. Saras, on the other hand, reassures Kusum that both he and Kumud support her.

As the final rituals begin, Kusum and Mohan sit together, while Kumud sits beside Pramad. Saras watches from a distance, torn between his emotions and the unfolding drama.
