Jhanak update Sunday 23 March 2025
Jhanak: The episode begins with Aditya dismissing Jhanak’s concerns as nonsense. The doctor, however, reassures Jhanak, praising her positive attitude and dancing skills.
When Aditya mentions that Jhanak fears she might not survive the operation, the doctor advises her not to be scared. He tells her that she has her whole life ahead and encourages her to go on a holiday after the surgery to reduce stress and aid recovery.
Aditya assures her that he will arrange everything, while the doctor reassures him that Jhanak will be fine and should enjoy her life. Aditya wishes her good luck, and Jhanak, thinking of Anirudh, thanks him before heading for the procedure.
Meanwhile, Anirudh comes downstairs with his bags and informs everyone about Jhanak’s condition. He reveals that she has a tumor in her stomach and is not pregnant, leaving the family in shock. Arshi, Shubh, and Tanuja argue with him over this revelation.
When Choton asks who informed him, Anirudh says it was Aditya. Lal and Bipasha start taunting Jhanak, but Bablu stands up for her.
Anirudh insists on going to Mumbai, but Arshi furiously declares that if he does, their relationship is over. Bipasha agrees, stating that Arshi has endured enough insults.
Anirudh remains firm and tells Arshi that life is about choices if she wants to leave, she is free to do so. Shubh sarcastically remarks that Bablu and Anjana must be pleased, suggesting that Bablu seeks revenge.
Bablu refutes this, saying he loves Anirudh and has always believed in Jhanak’s truthfulness, even when Anirudh doubted her. Arshi, enraged, accuses Anirudh of having a relationship with Jhanak despite being married to her.
Anjana intervenes, pointing out that Jhanak has always been Anirudh’s weakness, and everyone knows it. She questions why Arshi didn’t refuse the marriage if she had concerns.
Tanuja warns Anjana not to interfere in their family matters, but Anjana insists the issue is about Anirudh and Jhanak.
Lal expresses his disillusionment with his parents, while Bablu retaliates, accusing Lal of conspiring with Shubh against Appu. He tells Lal to stay out of the matter.
Choton decides to stay behind for Appu’s sake, while Anirudh prepares to leave for Mumbai. Arshi stops him, demanding that he stay, but Anirudh refuses, telling her to accompany him since Jhanak is her sister.
When Arshi realizes he is determined to go, she threatens to file a complaint against him. Unfazed, Anirudh tells her to do as she pleases, saying it might give her peace of mind.
Shubh questions Anirudh’s priorities, accusing him of disregarding his wife and father. Anirudh counters by calling out Shubh’s hypocrisy, reminding him of his schemes to sabotage Appu’s marriage.
He argues that he is merely visiting a sick person and sees no reason to be stopped. Lal expresses his embarrassment over the situation, while Anirudh insists that no one else cares.
Bipasha reminds Anirudh that he had promised to keep Arshi happy and accuses him of breaking his word. Arshi calls him a fraud and a cheat. Anirudh retorts that people often fail to keep all their promises and questions why Arshi feels so insecure. Arshi declares that she will not tolerate or compromise anymore.
Anirudh then drops a shocking truth Jhanak deliberately lost the reality show so that Arshi could win.
He reveals that everyone expected Jhanak to win, but she stepped back because Arshi’s health was deteriorating. He had personally asked Jhanak to let Arshi win. Everyone is stunned.
Anirudh asserts that he cannot turn his back on Jhanak now when she needs help. He tells Arshi that if she cannot understand his decision, he will be deeply disappointed. With that, he leaves.
Lalon bids farewell, and Appu asks him to return soon. Anuradha consoles Appu, assuring her that she is still her mother’s daughter. She then suggests making a video call to Jhanak, making Appu happy.
Anirudh’s flight lands, and he quickly heads to the hospital. Aditya is already there, inquiring about Jhanak’s surgery. The hospital staff informs him that her tests are done, and the operation is about to begin.
When Anirudh arrives, Aditya notices him and remarks that he won’t abandon Jhanak like Anirudh did. As the hospital staff requests someone to sign the surgery consent forms, Anirudh offers to do it. Aditya challenges him, questioning his right to sign. Anirudh responds that he is Jhanak’s relative.
Aditya scoffs at the term “relative,” sarcastically allowing Anirudh to sign but warning him not to regret it later. He reminds Anirudh that Jhanak had gone to Kolkata with important news, only to be humiliated by him. Anirudh insists it is a personal matter, but Aditya refuses to let it go. They argue as Jhanak’s critical surgery begins.
