Jhanak update Monday 24 March 2025

Jhanak: The episode begins with Aditya and Anirudh arguing. A doctor arrives and asks Aditya to sign the bond. Anirudh interjects, insisting that he will sign as he is Jhanak’s close relative. The doctor agrees but mentions that Jhanak’s consent is also required before proceeding. Anirudh signs the papers and offers to pay the fees, but the doctor informs him that Aditya has already settled the payment. Aditya explains that he had to act quickly and couldn’t wait for Anirudh. Anirudh thanks him but insists on repaying the money, which Aditya refuses. Anirudh, feeling responsible for Jhanak, tells Aditya that he doesn’t wish to continue this conversation. The nurse informs Anirudh that he can observe the operation if he wishes. He asks if he can meet Jhanak first, and the nurse seeks permission from Dhara, who consults the doctor and grants Anirudh permission. He expresses his gratitude.

Meanwhile, Arshi is seen packing her bags. Dadi questions her about the large suitcase, and Arshi declares that she wishes to return to her house as her parents are coming. Tanuja urges her to reconsider, but Arshi refuses, saying Anirudh doesn’t value her—he claimed to have asked Jhanak to withdraw from the dance competition, yet he continues to prioritize Jhanak. Tanuja apologizes and asks her to wait for Anirudh’s father’s return. Lal agrees, mentioning that Anirudh’s father is currently handling a high-profile case in Delhi. However, Arshi stands firm in her decision. At that moment, Shrishti and Vinayak arrive, demanding to speak with Anirudh. Shrishti declares that if Anirudh isn’t present, they will take Arshi back home. Dadi protests, reminding them that this is Arshi’s sasural (marital home). Shrishti counters, saying that since Arshi’s husband has abandoned her, this is no longer her home.

Elsewhere, Aditya stops Anirudh from seeing Jhanak, but Anirudh insists that he has the right to decide. They exchange heated words, with Aditya insinuating that he knows about Anirudh and Jhanak’s relationship. Anirudh warns him to stay within his limits. Vinayak asks for Anirudh to be called, but Arshi bitterly remarks that he has run after Jhanak again. Shrishti claims she always knew Anirudh was too preoccupied with Jhanak.

Bablu arrives and exchanges pleasantries. Meanwhile, Anirudh explains that he has come all the way from Kolkata, signed the bond, and spoken to the doctor. The nurse informs Jhanak that a relative from Kolkata has signed for her and asks about his identity. Jhanak hesitates, unwilling to disclose the details, and insists on meeting the person first. When the nurse takes her outside, she and Anirudh lock eyes as Phir Le Aaya Dil plays in the background.

Meanwhile, family arguments continue as Shrishti clashes with Bablu, with Lal and Bipasha supporting her. Anirudh apologizes to Jhanak for previously insulting her, but Jhanak clarifies that she only informed him about her condition, not to summon him. Anirudh insists he had to come to ensure her well-being, assuring her that everything will be fine. Amidst the ongoing family discussions, Shrishti suddenly declares that Jhanak is pregnant. Bipasha refutes this, stating that Anirudh clarified it was just a tumor. Vinayak is shocked by the revelation.

Jhanak, reflecting on her condition, states that she isn’t sure whether she will survive the operation and wishes to share something important. She forgives Anirudh for questioning her character and accusing her of an affair while wrongfully attributing a child to him. She says that if she doesn’t survive, there will be no further disgrace, and she wants Anirudh to be happy with Arshi.

Anirudh, struggling with his emotions, tells her that only he understands his own turmoil. Jhanak, however, dismisses his words, claiming she has already seen his behavior. Anirudh insists that what she sees and what he feels internally are vastly different. When she asks if he signed the bond, he confirms, adding that although he intended to pay for her surgery, Aditya had already covered the costs. He suggests she return the money to Aditya later, questioning why someone else would pay for his wife’s operation. Jhanak looks at him in surprise.

Meanwhile, Lal speculates that Anirudh is hiding something. He suggests that the tumor story might be an excuse and that Jhanak could be blackmailing Anirudh. Shrishti accuses Jhanak of scheming to trap Anirudh. Lal asserts that Anirudh only loves Arshi and would never act against her. Jhanak demands clarification, but Anirudh apologizes, saying he simply voiced his thoughts. She advises him to refrain from making baseless statements. Anirudh admits that his perspective might have been incorrect before, but he believes Jhanak must have valued his presence enough to inform him about the operation.

Tanuja mentions that Bablu, Anjana, and Choton wanted Jhanak to stay. Choton, fed up with the accusations, suggests they leave rather than listen to further nonsense. Bablu, Anjana, and Choton exit. Bipasha warns that they cannot discuss Jhanak freely around them. Shrishti, suspicious, questions how a pregnancy could suddenly turn into a tumor, calling it a deliberate deception. Vinayak expresses disbelief, but Shrishti insists it is possible. Bipasha supports her theory, claiming Jhanak has targeted Anirudh.

Back at the hospital, the nurse reminds Anirudh that he only has two minutes left. Holding Jhanak’s hand, Anirudh reassures her that he is waiting downstairs and urges her to stay strong. Jhanak, however, tells him to leave and not worry about her. As he prepares to go, he pleads with her to look at his face first when she wakes up. He promises that nothing will happen to her and assures her that he will be there for her.
