Anupama update Wednesday 26 March 2025

Anupama: The episode begins with a glimpse of Anupama’s home, Krishnakunj, located in Vrindavan Chowk, Ahmedabad, after a leap of several years. Baa sits on the swing while Babu Ji enters the house, searching for his watch. Baa notices his shoes and reminds him that it is Navratri, questioning why he is wearing outside shoes indoors. Babu Ji, who struggles to hear properly, jokes that his hearing aid is unreliable. He asks Baa why she skipped their morning Surya Namaskar in the park, to which she sarcastically replies that he should do it with his beloved Anupama.
Meanwhile, Anupama asks Kaveri and her daughter Gauri to pray for her daughter, as it is her birthday today. She emphasizes that serving cows brings Lord Krishna’s blessings. Just then, Toshu arrives, announcing that an international investor is on the line. Anupama takes the call from Mr. Irick, who asks her to convince him why he should invest in Anu Ki Rasoi.
Anupama passionately explains that while investors usually focus on brands, Anu Ki Rasoi is more than just a business—it represents the trust of the hardworking women who run it and the customers who have become like family. She argues that these women deserve a chance to grow. However, Mr. Irick dismisses her proposal, stating that they are not interested in small brands, and abruptly ends the call. Anupama feels disheartened, lamenting that people never give opportunities.
Toshu, frustrated, suggests cutting costs by compromising on food ingredients. Anupama refuses, stating that customer trust is their biggest asset and compromising on quality would be a major loss. Toshu points out that she reinvests almost all profits into employee welfare, leaving them with little money. Anupama insists that their true wealth lies in the blessings and goodwill they receive. Toshu, still skeptical, complains about finding a new investor. Anupama remains steadfast and goes inside to pray, eating Methi Dana for good health.
Ansh’s Mischief and Anupama’s Wisdom
Ansh enters while playing football, accidentally hitting Anupama. He cheekily remarks that she is so attractive that even the football gets drawn to her. When he asks her to slap him, Anupama gently refuses, saying she no longer gets angry. She reminisces about how motherhood changed her temperament. Ansh teases her about relationships, claiming that modern love is temporary, unlike the deep, lifelong love of the past. Anupama wistfully thinks of Anuj, as Anupama’s theme song plays.
Ansh asks about the birthday girl, indirectly referencing Anupama’s missing daughter. As he runs off playfully, Anupama prepares a cake, decorating it with gems, whispering that it is for her daughter’s birthday.
Tensions Rise in the Household
Later, Anupama serves tea to Baa, and Babu Ji laughs at their usual banter. Just then, Pakhi arrives. Anupama greets her warmly, calling her “Sweety,” but Pakhi dismisses the nickname. Anupama, noticing Pakhi just woke up, informs her that she made breakfast and asks her to prepare lunch. Pakhi, however, prioritizes making coffee for her daughter, Ishani. Anupama suggests giving Ishani tulsi-ginger tea instead, but Pakhi, irritated, reminds them that Ishani is a rising star who needs to look a certain way for the camera, not spend time in the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Kinjal, on a phone call, jokes that they’ll live in their home for 400 years. Pari enters, complaining that her dress has shrunk. Kinjal advises her to focus on her health. Pakhi, however, defends Ishani’s weight, calling it “perfect,” subtly undermining Pari. When Pari reaches for chocolate, Kinjal warns her against stress eating, but Toshu encourages her to eat it, leading to another argument between him and Kinjal.
Anupama notices Pari’s embroidery work and praises her talent, advising her to focus on self-love rather than external validation. Kinjal, however, snaps at Anupama, reminding her that people constantly taunt those who are overweight. She bitterly remarks that if Anupama had been a better mother, her own daughter wouldn’t have run away. Anupama is deeply hurt.
A Birthday Overshadowed by Pain
Just then, Ansh, Ishani, and Pari welcome Mahi. Mahi excitedly hugs Anupama, who blesses her. As the family gathers for cake-cutting, everyone notices Choti written on the cake, referring to Anupama’s missing daughter. Apologizing, Mahi reassures Anupama that she has always received Choti’s love and hopes that she is found one day. However, Baa coldly remarks that Choti ran away twice, and Pakhi says they don’t want her inauspicious name mentioned. Toshu demands that the name be wiped off the cake.
Pakhi steps forward to erase the name, but Anupama sternly stops her, declaring that no one should dare erase her daughter’s name. Ansh mocks Pakhi, stating that while the older generation quarrels like crows, Anupama has always focused on keeping the family together.
Baa dismisses Anupama’s contributions, but Babu Ji intervenes, reminding everyone that Anupama has done what Vanraj couldn’t—she provided shelter, reunited the family, secured jobs for Toshu and Pakhi, and even fought legal battles to save their home. Without her, they would be homeless. Pakhi, annoyed, takes Ishani and leaves.
Baa, unfazed, asks Anupama to make ginger tea. Babu Ji cheers her up before leaving. Ansh lightens the mood by joking that while her children are annoying, her grandchildren are much better. However, Pari, feeling insecure, decides she shouldn’t have worn her outfit and leaves. Anupama advises Ansh to focus on his gaming launch, and he departs.
Anupama’s Longing and Aadhya’s Whereabouts
As Mahi leaves to celebrate with her friends, Anupama is left alone with her thoughts. She reminisces about Anuj and Aadhya, breaking down in tears. She collapses near a framed picture of Lord Krishna, pleading for a sign that her loved ones are safe.
Meanwhile, in Dwarka, Aadhya is seen performing a play, dressed as Lord Krishna, proclaiming her innocence in front of an audience.
Back in Ahmedabad, Anupama, desperate for a sign, stumbles upon a religious procession dedicated to Lord Krishna. She tearfully begs Kanha Ji to help her reunite with her daughter. A voiceover echoes: “A mother’s love calls out to the child who has gone far away.”
The episode ends with Anupama’s unwavering hope and Aadhya’s hidden presence, hinting at their eventual reunion.
