Jhanak update Wednesday 26 March 2025

The episode begins with Anirudh instructing the driver to take him to the temple. The driver, understanding Anirudh’s concern, shares his own experience of praying for his wife’s safety during her delivery. He assures Anirudh that his wife will also recover. Anirudh, filled with hope, expresses his wish to keep Jhanak with him and never hurt her again. The driver, sensing his emotions, asks if they had a fight. He shares that he always makes peace with his wife because he fears losing her. Anirudh acknowledges that his wife is also a good person. The driver reassures him that love has the power to heal all wounds.
Upon reaching the temple, Anirudh hurries to buy puja essentials. However, the shopkeeper informs him that the temple is closing. Determined, Anirudh rushes ahead, pleading with the priest to allow him to perform the puja. The priest denies his request, stating that the temple rituals do not permit prayers at this hour. He advises Anirudh to return at 4 PM. Anirudh insists, explaining that his loved one is in the hospital, fighting for her life. However, the priest remains firm, stating that traditions must be followed.
Meanwhile, at home, Vinayak expresses his doubts about the situation, while Shrishti reveals that she has asked Guruji to investigate further. Arshi feels that Anirudh’s focus has completely shifted to Jhanak and believes that he no longer loves her. Vinayak defends Anirudh, explaining that everything changed when Arshi went to Kashmir and mistreated Jhanak and Urvashi. He states that Anirudh was forced into marriage with Jhanak due to circumstances, just as he himself had been unable to act differently 24 years ago.
Back at the temple, Anirudh refuses to give up. The priest warns him against breaking temple traditions, but Anirudh remains adamant. The driver joins in, trying to convince the priest of Anirudh’s desperation. When the priest questions whether Anirudh is performing the puja for his child, Anirudh declares that he is doing it for his wife, Jhanak, on whom his entire life depends. He realizes that no legal document can define their bond—Jhanak is his wife in every sense.
The priest, moved by his sincerity, agrees to conduct the puja. He instructs Anirudh to place a blessed flower on Jhanak’s forehead. Anirudh prays earnestly, begging Mahadev not to take Jhanak away from him. Meanwhile, Arshi confronts Vinayak about his cryptic remark regarding the past. Vinayak urges her to ask Shrishti. When Arshi questions her mother, Shrishti avoids the topic, suggesting instead that Arshi focus on her marriage. Arshi expresses her exhaustion with the ongoing situation and debates whether she should pursue Anirudh. Vinayak advises her to go after him if she truly wants to.
Back at the hospital, the doctor informs the family that Jhanak’s condition has not improved. He suggests putting her on a ventilator but warns that it may not help. He asks for Anirudh to sign the consent papers. Since Anirudh is not present, Aditya steps forward, insisting that saving Jhanak’s life is more important than who signs the documents.
At the temple, Anirudh finally completes the puja and receives the blessed flower from the priest. The priest gives him his blessings, and Anirudh, deeply grateful, rushes back to the hospital. Meanwhile, the doctors continue to monitor Jhanak’s condition, acknowledging that her pulse is dropping rapidly. As Anirudh travels back, he clutches the flower tightly, praying for a miracle that will bring Jhanak back to him.
