Saras and Kumud update Wednesday 26 March 2025

The episode begins with Kumud bringing Kusum home, where everyone looks at her with concern. Kusum silently heads to her room, visibly upset. Guniyal laments that they sent her as a bride, but now she has returned like this. Kumud defends Kusum, stating that she refuses to accept the marriage and that she supports her decision. Vidyachatur reassures that both his daughters will always have a place in his home and heart. He calls a doctor, who advises handling Kusum with care and promises to send a counselor. Badimaa believes counseling might help, but Kumud stresses that Kusum’s suicide attempt was not the right approach, and she must never do it again.

Vidyachatur expresses his disbelief at Saras’s betrayal, stating that if Saras had simply refused the marriage, he could have accepted it, but deception is unacceptable. Badimaa urges everyone to trust her and Saras’s decision, even if they don’t understand it. Kumud, however, feels betrayed and reminds them that they lacked trust in her, keeping secrets from her.

Kusum’s Turmoil

Kusum, alone in her room, removes her bridal jewelry, sindoor, and mangalsutra, reflecting on her shattered dreams. She changes out of her bridal attire and stares at herself in the mirror, trying to erase the remnants of her marriage.

Kumud Faces Accusations

Kumari informs Kumud that Kusum refuses to take her medicine, and Kumud worries that Kusum won’t listen to her either. Yash’s mother arrives and blames Kumud for Saras’s actions, comparing her unfavorably to Kalika.

Danny’s Pain

Meanwhile, Saras brings food for Danny, who is deeply hurt. Saras admits his mistake in hiding the truth but urges Danny not to punish himself by starving. Danny, however, is heartbroken, recalling how Kusum attempted suicide and accused him of betrayal before returning to her parental home.

Kusum’s Heartbreak

Kumud tries to feed Kusum, assuring her of their support, but Kusum is too distraught. She confesses that for her, the marriage was real because she envisioned Saras as her groom.

Danny Confronts Saras

Danny, filled with pain, tells Saras that Kusum only saw Saras in her wedding rituals and questions the meaning of such a marriage. He feels betrayed, struggling to trust Saras again.

Kumud’s Prayer & Saras’s Determination

Kumud visits the temple, praying for Kusum’s happiness, even at the cost of her own. Saras, too, questions why fate has led to this suffering when he only wished for everyone’s happiness. As they both pray, they see each other. Kumud turns to leave, but Saras stops her, urging her to acknowledge that Danny truly loves Kusum. Kumud, however, is furious, accusing Saras of ruining lives. Saras pleads for her support, saying he cannot set things right alone, but Kumud refuses and leaves.

Pramad’s Unexpected Return

Vidyachatur reflects on how Kusum always trusted Kumud more than anyone. Guniyal notes how their upbringing led the sisters to prioritize each other’s happiness, but fate has turned them into each other’s source of sorrow. Just then, Kumari announces Pramad’s arrival. Pramad hands over signed divorce papers, shocking everyone. He admits that his past actions, including sending goons, caused Kusum’s forced marriage and that he is responsible for the mess. He declares he is freeing Kumud and leaving for America for medical treatment. Kalika, however, is determined not to let him leave without ruining Saras and Kumud’s happiness.

Kalika Tries to Manipulate Pramad

Kalika confronts Pramad as he prepares to leave, mocking him for not seeking revenge. She taunts him, calling him weak. Pramad, feeling sick, reminds her that Kumud took care of him despite everything. He warns Kalika that time changes people and advises her to change too.

Later, Pramad confesses to Kalika that he sent the MMS during Kusum’s wedding. Kalika mocks him, saying Kumud still belongs to Saras. Yash sees Kalika with Pramad and questions her. Kalika quickly lies, saying she was only helping a sick Pramad.

Danny’s Departure & Saras’s Desperation

Vidyachatur, too distressed about Kusum, refuses to focus on work. Saras suggests that Danny should handle the project, but Kalika suspects Saras is using this to bring Danny back into the house. Meanwhile, Danny, heartbroken, decides to leave permanently. Saras rushes to stop him but arrives at the airport too late, learning that Danny’s flight has already taken off.

However, when Saras returns home, he finds Danny still there. Danny reveals that someone convinced him to stay—Kumud. She returns Danny’s passport, warning him not to try leaving again. Saras silently thanks her and follows her outside.

Saras & Kumud’s Conversation

Saras thanks Kumud for supporting him. She clarifies that she only brought Danny back for Kusum’s sake, not his. Saras remains optimistic, determined to fix everything now that Danny is back. Meanwhile, Pramad watches Saras and Kumud together, secretly pleased.

Pramad’s Farewell

Pramad approaches Kumud and Saras, pretending to be weak. He claims he is happy to see them together and reveals he has already signed the divorce papers. He asks Saras if he can have a final private conversation with Kumud.

Pramad tells Kumud that nothing stands between her and Saras now. He apologizes for his past mistakes, hoping she can forgive him. Before leaving, Kumud shows him a marked calendar and offers her help if he ever needs it. Pramad acknowledges her kindness but doubts she can ever tolerate him again. He bids her farewell.

Saras’s Final Plea to Kumud

Saras questions whether Pramad’s sudden change is genuine. Kumud, believing he has changed, refuses to doubt him again. Saras then asks her to trust him as well, urging her to help reunite Danny and Kusum. He reminds her that their own relationship, despite its challenges, remained strong because it was real. Saras declares that no matter what, they will always be together. Kumud silently looks at him, unsure of what lies ahead.
