Saras and Kumud update Friday 28 March 2025

The episode opens with Kumud encouraging Danny not to give up. Danny feels hopeless, believing Kusum will never love him. Kumud explains that love is all about hope, faith, and tests. She tells him no one understands complicated relationships better than her. Kumud advises him not to try to change Kusum’s heart but to let his love touch it naturally. She confidently says that Kusum will wear his gifted bangles by evening and urges him to leave the rest to fate.

Meanwhile, Dada ji’s health worries everyone. Jamuna scolds him for not resting, and the doctor advises him to avoid stress. Vidyachatur blames Kusum for causing the tension and promises Dada ji to handle the situation. Later, Kusum apologizes, saying the bangles felt too light to wear. Dada ji reminds her that it’s not about the weight but the love behind them. He asks Danny to make Kusum wear them, and she reluctantly agrees, making everyone happy.

Kusum, however, secretly tells Guniyal she doesn’t accept this marriage. Guniyal scolds her for ignoring Dada ji’s wishes and for being selfish. Danny overhears and is hurt. Kumud and Saras discuss Kusum and Danny’s situation. Saras worries about his role in all this, but Kumud reminds him that what’s done is done. Later, when Danny tries to thank Kusum, she bluntly says she only wore the bangles for Dada ji’s sake and throws them away again.

Guniyal shares her concern about Danny with Kumud and Badimaa. Kumud reveals that the bangles were Saraswati’s (Saras’ mother) treasured bangles. Everyone is shocked that Kusum threw them away. Kalika takes advantage of the situation and manipulates Kusum, revealing the emotional value behind the bangles. Kusum is left stunned.

During the havan, the priest asks Kusum to place her hand in Danny’s. After much hesitation, Kusum gives in for Dada ji’s sake. Everyone, including Saras and Kumud, feel relieved. Dada ji remarks that love takes time to blossom. Saras hopes the havan will bring Danny and Kusum closer, but Dada ji says only genuine love can strengthen a marriage.

Later at home, Kusum acknowledges the value of the bangles and promises to cherish them, making Danny happy. However, Kusum secretly admires the bangles because of Saras’ connection, not Danny. Saras notices Kusum’s gaze and feels awkward. Saras and Kumud have a sweet moment where Saras warms Kumud’s cold hands, but Kusum watches and feels jealous and heartbroken.

Kusum later cries alone, feeling torn. She confesses she cannot remove the bangles or stop loving Saras. Saras and Kumud continue sharing light moments, but Saras struggles to talk about Kusum. Meanwhile, Dada ji tries to plan a honeymoon for Danny and Kusum, but Saras points out that they barely tolerate each other. Dada ji insists on figuring something out.

At breakfast, Yash’s mother stirs trouble by complaining that Kalika and Yash are treated unfairly compared to Kusum and Kumud. She accuses the family of favoritism, which leaves everyone stunned. Danny and Kusum share an awkward moment where Kusum secretly cares for him by offering a blanket but tells herself it’s only because of Saras.

Dada ji later fakes a health issue to Saras and Kumud’s surprise. The doctor, Kumud, and Saras catch on to his act, leading to light-hearted moments. However, Kumud is furious upon realizing that Dada ji and Saras plotted together for Kusum and Danny’s relationship.

Meanwhile, Yash’s mother supports Kalika’s insecurities and publicly accuses the family of neglecting them because of her status as a widow. Badimaa clarifies they never differentiated between their children, but the atmosphere remains tense. Kumud confronts Saras and Dada ji, scolding them for manipulating the situation, while Dada ji and Saras stand quietly, ashamed.
