Anupama update Saturday 29 march 2025

Anupama: The episode begins with Dolly speaking on the phone with Meenu. Baa, noticing her conversation, asks who Dolly is talking to. Dolly casually responds, “Who doesn’t call me?” Baa, irritated, tells her to return to Sanjay Kumar. Dolly, feeling the weight of her emotions, explains that while her daughter never calls her, she calls her Bhabhi every week, and Dolly is left asking how she is. Baa, trying to comfort her, says, “I’m with you.”
Dolly, upset, says, “You still cry for Bhai even though I’m here.” She expresses that due to her poor health, she couldn’t work and spends her days staring at her phone. Baa urges her to end the ongoing rift with Sanjay Kumar. Dolly pleads, and then leaves.
Anupama overhears and approaches Baa. She asks who will take care of Dolly if anything happens to her and Babuji. Anupama reassures her, saying, “I’m here, I will take care.” Baa, sensing Anupama’s determination, warns her that if she leaves, she may never find what she’s truly searching for.
Anupama, determined to face whatever comes, says, “First, I need to find it.” Baa doubts her, saying, “You won’t find it.” Babuji overhears this and calls Anupama selfish. He then asks Baa, “If I’m so bad, why are you with me?” Babuji’s words show that despite everything, they remain a family.
Meanwhile, Prem’s friends tease him for being focused on spirituality, laughing at his old-fashioned views, calling him a “70’s person.” Prem responds, saying he is here to discover the purpose of his life, not to talk about girls. He closes his eyes and thinks of Aadhya, asking Kanha Ji why he’s focused on a girl when he’s supposed to be discovering his life’s aim.
A man named Sattu approaches them, greeting them with a “Jai Dwarkadeesh,” and informs them that he’s heard they are looking for a place to stay. Prem and his friends confirm they are. As Aadhya walks by and notices them in the auto, she runs after them, asking them to stop, but they drive off. She mutters to her friend, “Hero’s gone. Who knows whose money this is?”
Back at Anupama’s place, she decides to make a vow in Dwarka and imagines Anuj being with her. She smiles, thinking, “You may be far away, but your presence is still with me in every breath, every heartbeat.” Anupama’s emotions overwhelm her, but she’s determined.
As she stands lost in thought, Mahi appears and asks, “When did you arrive?” Anupama tells her that Kanha Ji gave her another daughter after losing Choti. She then hugs Mahi and encourages her to focus on her studies since exams are approaching. Pari and Ansh join them, and Pari asks Anupama to bring prasad. Anupama agrees, but just then, the lights go out. Pari, ever hopeful, says, “Maybe new light will come.” Anupama can’t help but think of Aadhya during this moment.
In another part of town, Aadhya is busy calculating expenses and shares that the ashram is already mortgaged. She tells Vyas that they need to find a way to reduce costs. Vyas asks why she’s doing this for them, and Aadhya replies, “You all are my family.”
The kids in the ashram are unable to sleep, and Aadhya soothes them by singing a lullaby. The kids quickly fall asleep. Anupama, too, sings a lullaby for Mahi, Pari, and Ansh. Vyas asks, “Where did you learn this lullaby?” Aadhya responds, “From my Maa,” but deep down, she thinks she no longer misses her mother, who is gone. Meanwhile, Anupama reflects on how her hope of meeting Aadhya is what keeps her alive.
The next morning, Anupama is preparing to leave with Ansh, instructing Toshu to give a cheque to someone. Toshu reassures her that he’ll handle it and tells her not to worry about the food quality. Anupama insists, “There should be no compromise with the food.”
She tells Mahi and the others to have the burgers she made, but not to give any to Pari. Pari, sensing the tension, says, “I know.” Anupama reminds them all not to trouble Baa and Babuji. Babuji then enters, bringing prasad and offering her curd and sugar. Ansh eagerly asks Babuji for his share, and Baa, in a bitter tone, tells Anupama, “You might believe now that your daughter is dead.”
Anupama, struggling to hold back her emotions, asks Baa to think carefully before saying such things. “You’re waiting for your son, but you’re saying this about my daughter.” She leaves, but as she steps outside, memories of Aadhya flood her mind. With her eyes closed, she prays silently.
As Aadhya heads out, she tells herself she’ll reach in five minutes. Just then, her slipper breaks, and she mutters to herself that she’ll fix it by putting two nails in it. Prem, noticing her distress, comes over and picks up her slipper. Aadhya, confused, asks him why he’s stealing her slipper.
Prem quietly repairs it and helps her put it back on. He shares how he once had a fear of water, but overcame it, saying, “I take baths now and drink water too.” Aadhya, moved, offers him a pouch containing the money for the mannat. Prem says, “This mannat is special. It’s a mother’s love for her child.”
Aadhya, somewhat cynical, responds, “Not all mothers are good.” Prem counters, “All mothers are good, we just think they’re wrong sometimes.” As the mannat money falls from the pouch, Prem advises Aadhya to buy a peacock feather and present it at the temple. Anupama, full of hope, believes her prayers will soon be answered. Aadhya, unaware of Anupama’s feelings, carries the peacock feather to the temple. Prem notices a girl crying, and her mother comes to comfort her. He observes, “In Dwarka, people meet like this.”
