Saras and Kumud update Saturday 29 March 2025
Sara and Kumud: The episode begins with Kumud confronting both Dada ji and Saras. She asks Saras why he brought them here if he knew everything. Saras responds by questioning why Kumud brought them there in the first place.
Kumud scolds him, expressing her anger over the lies and deceit. She accuses him of betraying her, which is why she no longer trusts him. Dada ji defends Saras, speaking in his favor.
Kumud asks who they did this for, and Dada ji admits it was for Kusum and Danny’s sake. Kumud is surprised, asking if Dada ji knows them, and he confirms that he does.
He explains that Kusum had not accepted Danny as her husband, so Saras and he decided to bring everyone together. Kumud questions whose idea this was, and Dada ji looks at Saras. Kumud scolds Saras for his actions, saying that everyone was worried about Dada ji, and now he is playing with everyone’s emotions.
Saras acknowledges that he lied, but insists that things are happening. At the same time, there’s a confrontation at home as Yash’s mother argues about the injustice done to her son, Yash, who was kept in the house despite his marriage to Kalika.
She complains that they haven’t treated her son with the same respect, even though she accepted Kalika as her daughter-in-law. She storms out angrily, with Yash following her, while Kalika also leaves.
As Kumud and Saras bring Dada ji back home, Dada ji requests to stop at a shop for food, but Kumud insists they go home. Saras tries to hold her hand, and she pulls away, but he smiles as she does. At home, Yash talks to his mother, expressing his happiness that she accepted Kalika. Kalika, joining them, expresses her gratitude, and the trio shares a hug, while Kalika smirks, knowing she has manipulated both Yash and his mother.
At home, Vidyachatur asks about Dada ji’s health, and Kumud informs everyone that the doctor said Dada ji is fine but needs rest. Dada ji suggests taking him to Ratnagiri, and everyone agrees that it will be a good idea. Kumud decides that they will leave the next morning, and Saras smiles, happy to be able to help.
Later, Kusum is seen packing, and Danny comes to her with a gift. She refuses it at first, but Danny insists. Kusum looks at the gift—a chunri—and throws it aside in frustration. Kalika appears and mocks Kusum for being so resistant to Danny’s efforts, mentioning that she noticed Kusum wore Danny’s bangles and sat with him during the havan. She hints that Kusum is starting to accept Danny, which Kusum denies. However, Kusum wonders if others think the same way.
Meanwhile, Kumud brings Dada ji some food, and Dada ji praises her for handling the situation well, but insists that she’s part of his plan. Kumud refuses to be a part of Dada ji’s scheme, and when Dada ji says that Saras and Kumud together could achieve great things, Kumud rejects the idea. She walks away, but Dada ji hints that deep down, Kumud shares a strong bond with Saras.
Saras, in another conversation with Dada ji, reveals his deep feelings for Kumud, knowing that she has waited for him for so long. Saras shows Dada ji his mother’s mangalsutra, which he has kept for Kumud, and Dada ji encourages him to make it official with Kumud. Kusum overhears this conversation and is devastated by the realization that Saras will always be with Kumud.
Kalika finds Kusum upset and tries to console her, but Kusum is deeply affected by the situation. Kusum thinks about how Saras had made her wear the kamarbandh, which now seems like an impossible bond to break. Kalika, sensing an opportunity, manipulates Kusum by suggesting that she needs to make a choice between Saras’s love and Danny’s affections, and that she must tell the truth about her feelings before things get more complicated.
In the meantime, Saras and Kumud continue to struggle with their emotions. Kumud tells Saras that while love means sacrifice to her, it is not the same for Kusum, and they cannot keep doing this to her. Saras argues that Kusum is only hurting herself, but Kumud insists that Kusum is being torn apart in this situation.
Saras offers to take responsibility for Kusum’s pain by marrying Kumud, hoping that this will help Kusum realize Danny’s love for her.
As Saras declares that he wants to marry Kumud and make their bond official, he shows her the sindoor, symbolizing his commitment to her. They both share an emotional moment, and as Saras prepares to fill her maang, he pauses, telling her that he’s ready to be united with her, and that it is time for the world to know that she is his.
Dada ji, witnessing this moment, expresses his happiness and hopes for their future together. However, Kumud struggles with her emotions, and as Saras throws the sindoor in the air, it falls on her, symbolizing the bond that remains unfulfilled. Kumud is left crying, conflicted about her feelings for both Saras and Kusum.
Kumud later confronts Kalika, who is pleased to see her upset. Kalika tries to convince her to eat, but Kumud refuses, and the scene ends with Kumud’s inner turmoil.
Meanwhile, Kusum, lost in thoughts of Saras, plans to confront him. She meets him in the corridor, and a brief moment of tension arises as she bumps into him. She tries to manipulate him by saying that the kamarbandh he gave her now belongs to her, but Saras dismisses her attempt to claim his love, reminding her that love cannot be forced. He walks away, leaving Kusum to reflect on her actions and feelings.
Kumud, witnessing this interaction, feels the weight of the situation. Saras, unable to let go of his feelings for Kumud, tells her that love is about sacrifice, and that Kusum needs to realize this for herself. Kusum, in her room, is tormented by the truth of her own heart her love for Saras. Kalika, ever the opportunist, encourages Kusum to act quickly before it’s too late.
As the episode concludes, Kumud, torn between her loyalty to her family and her love for Saras, faces a difficult choice. Saras, meanwhile, must navigate the complex emotions that tie him to both Kusum and Kumud.
