Anupama update Thursday 3 April 2025
Anupama: The episode begins with Anupama and Prem arriving at Shishu Chaaya Ashram. Bubbly greets Prem, asking in surprise, “You’re here?” He affectionately calls her “Bubblechand,” and she responds, saying her name is Bubbly but he can call her “Bubblegum” too. The kids affectionately call Prem “Laddoo Bhaiyya.” Vyas welcomes Anupama and comments, “You’re here!” Prem explains that they brought some toys for the children.
Meanwhile, Aadhya thinks to herself that everything is available on the internet now, so people no longer need a tourist guide. She notices Gagwani’s men outside the orphanage and quickly covers the window with a curtain. Vyas tells Anupama that she was supposed to leave last night. Anupama agrees but is distracted by the sound of a baby crying and children singing a lullaby. This brings back memories of when she used to sing the same lullaby for Aadhya. She asks Vyas, “Where is Rahi?” Vyas replies that she is inside. Anupama goes to find her, calling out to “Choti.” Bubbly informs her that Rahi isn’t there and must have gone out through the shortcut.
Vyas questions her about knowing Rahi, and Prem asks how she knows her. Vyas recalls seeing her on the temple stairs during Dussera night and that he had brought her to the ashram a few years ago. Prem asks if Vyas knows anything about her. Vyas answers that he doesn’t even know her real name. Anupama clarifies that Rahi is her real daughter and thanks Vyas for keeping her safe. She urges Prem to search for her. Prem asks Bubbly to call Rahi and find out where she is.
Meanwhile, Janki informs Prem that the food order was returned because the people who ate it fell ill. Another woman adds that they received a notice and must inform Anupama. Toshu dismisses their concerns, insulting the women, and says he will take care of the notice. Offended by his words, the women walk off.
Anupama goes to Aadhya and calls out, “Bebli.” Aadhya looks up, and Anupama hugs her, saying, “I’ve been yearning to see you, to touch you.” She kisses Aadhya’s forehead and adds, “This is the first real laugh that’s come from my heart. Today, my exile is over—it’s Diwali for me because I’ve gotten my daughter back.” Anupama then asks why Aadhya left her and never returned. In response, Aadhya pushes her away, causing Anupama to fall to the ground. Prem calls out, “Ma’am!”
Pakhi is worried because she can’t reach Ishu over the phone. Baa suggests she inquire with the organizers, but Pakhi doesn’t have their number. Toshu arrives with a complaint notice and tells them that Janki had provoked the women to leave. Baa points out that things were fine when Anupama handled everything. Pakhi asks if Toshu used the same discounted masala for the food. Baa mentions that’s why Anupama makes masalas at home. Toshu defends himself, claiming he was just trying to help his friend. Baa then asks if the masala food was sent to Sanghu Bhai’s daughter’s engagement. Toshu is left in shock.
Back at the Ashram, Anupama asks Aadhya what she did to deserve being rejected by her. She says, “You changed your name, identity, and city, but a mother is always a mother.” She asks Aadhya why she left without explanation. Aadhya responds harshly, saying she is dead to her and calls Anupama “stop it” before pushing her again. Anupama pleads, “I am your mother. Why should a daughter be distant from her mother?” Aadhya retorts, “My mother is dead, and our relationship is dead. You mean nothing to me.” Anupama stands stunned, and so does Prem.
Anupama, with tears in her eyes, says, “I didn’t know why you left, why you changed everything. I missed you every day, and now you say you don’t want to talk to me.” She embraces Aadhya, holding her tightly and saying, “I’ve prayed everywhere to be reunited with you. What have I done to deserve this hate?” She begs Aadhya to speak and folds her hands. “Okay, you don’t want to say anything, but please come home with me. I won’t leave without my Choti.”
Aadhya, shouting, declares, “I am not your Choti or your daughter. I belong in the orphanage, and I will stay here.” Anupama insists, “You can call yourself whatever you like, but the truth is you are my Anu, my Choti Anu.” Aadhya responds coldly, “No, I have no relation with you. I’m begging you to leave me alone.” Anupama refuses to give up and says, “If you are my daughter, then I am your mother.” Aadhya walks away, and Anupama calls out to Prem, asking him to stop her.
Vyas questions Bubbly about whether Rahi said anything to her. Bubbly denies it. At that moment, Gagwani arrives with his goons and demands that they vacate the Ashram, showing them a notice. Vyas tries to explain that he had signed a contract for five more years, but Gagwani arrogantly says he has changed the date and demands they leave.
Meanwhile, Toshu contemplates selling the food to different shops. Baa and Dolly confront him about his rude behavior towards the women. Toshu defensively says that as an MBA graduate, he knows better.
Prem confronts Aadhya, questioning her harsh actions, especially performing “tarpan” for her own mother. He asks, “Who are you to interfere between a mother and her daughter?” Aadhya coldly replies, “You don’t know her true face. Whoever says that a mother can’t be a Kumata is wrong.” Anupama overhears and asks, “What have I done?” Aadhya bitterly says that she left home because of Anupama and blames her for the death of her father, Pops.
