Jhanak update Monday 31 March 2025

Jhanak: The episode begins with Mrinalini asking Lalon to stay back, as she got a leave from school. Lalon expresses his need to work, as the boys plan to set up a small pandal for Durga. He takes blessings from Dadi, who jokingly assures him not to be bothered by Rumi’s words. Lalon reassures her that he knows Appu’s love for him is unbiased, as she wouldn’t have married him otherwise.

Meanwhile, Bablu comments on Lalon’s previous life in a big house, to which Choton hopes he’ll get his house back soon. Shubh, irritated by the chatter, orders Rumi and Tanuja to their rooms, and Dadi decides it’s time to start the ritual. Anjana performs their aarti as Jhanak gets ready for her shot. Aditya compliments her and hints that she should imagine Anirudh for the romantic scene to make it more convincing. Jhanak, however, says she’s hurt by the suggestion. The scene proceeds, but when Jhanak’s mind wanders to Anirudh, she calls out his name during the shot. The director is disappointed, although Aditya reassures her it was a good performance, despite the slip-up. The director requests another take, and after a short break, they get back to work.

Later, Choton drops Mrinalini off at school, where they share a playful exchange. He reveals that Anjana sent them to spend some time together. Mrinalini is curious when Choton casually mentions love, and he nervously admits his feelings for her, but doubts she would ever marry someone like him. She’s taken aback by his confession and challenges him, saying he lacks passion and sincerity. Choton apologizes for his boldness, but he stands by his words, claiming that love should be enough, even without wealth. They discuss his lack of formal education, and he encourages her to find someone better for her. She responds in frustration, and their conversation ends with her telling him to “shut up.”

At home, Anirudh returns to a tense atmosphere. Appu hugs him, asking about Jhanak, but Arshi interrupts, voicing her frustration about staying at home. Anjana scolds Lalon and Shrishti reprimands Anirudh. Appu gets angry at the commotion. Shrishti demands to talk to Anirudh upstairs, but he insists on discussing everything in front of everyone, asserting that he’s done nothing wrong.

Meanwhile, Jhanak apologizes to Aditya for her earlier mistake during the scene, but he assures her that it happens and thanks her for channeling her true emotions. He tells her she can’t go to Anirudh, nor can he come to her, advising her not to hurt herself. The scene is retaken, and the director praises Jhanak’s performance.

Back at home, Lalon prepares to leave with Appu, but Bablu insists they stay for the rituals. Tanuja sarcastically asks if this is Lalon’s house now, and Anjana responds with confidence, stating they live there just like Tanuja does. Bipasha adds her own taunt. Lalon remains quiet, and Bablu urges him to come to the room to avoid further conflict. However, Anirudh insists they stay and resolve the matter openly. Arshi boldly announces that she won’t live in the house anymore and declares her decision final. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, as tensions rise.
