Jhanak update Thursday 3 April 2025

Jhanak : The episode begins with Arshi asking Anirudh if it’s about Jhanak. He responds saying it’s not and that he will freshen up before coming. As he leaves, Aditya admits that he knows Anirudh loves Jhanak, and accepts their friendship. Jhanak decides to go for the shoot, and Aditya tells her that she can go if she wants, as he’ll share the ad shoot details with her. She agrees to go for the shoot to support him. Mimi mentions inviting Lalon and Appu when they make special food.

Meanwhile, Anjana wonders how they can invite Lalon, as he is busy. Mimi insists that the smell of the food will bring him over. Lalon, however, gets angry, and Bipasha tries to calm him down, though he says he knows the difference between a joke and an insult.

Mimi and Rumi mock Lalon, which causes Anjana and Appu to feel uncomfortable. Lalon jokes about eating all the dishes in his dreams, which lightens the mood a bit. Tanuja, in the meantime, taunts Lalon, and Anjana speaks up, saying it’s not necessary to say all these things, as Appu and Lalon are visiting for the first time. Tanuja dismisses this, but Bablu suggests everyone should stay quiet to avoid further conflict.

Lalon gets irritated and says that the family has money, but lacks manners. He questions how Mimi and Rumi will behave in their in-laws’ house if they continue to act this way. Tanuja gets upset and asks him how dare he say such things. Appu and Anjana try to convince Lalon to sit and eat, and Bablu insists that the food was prepared with his own money, not Shubh’s help. Lalon finally agrees to stay and eat.

Lalon expresses that while he may be poor, he will eat with style. He serves the food and asks everyone to enjoy it, calling it Bablu’s treat. Tanuja protests, but Lalon brushes it off, saying it was just a joke. Mrinalini then encourages Mimi to fight Lalon for some entertainment, which leads to further tension. However, Choton enters with Mrinalini, easing the situation. He tells Lalon that he and Mrinalini are both outsiders and that they are here to enjoy the food.

Choton’s remark about making Mrinalini his wife soon makes everyone smile, and Tanuja leaves in a huff. Bipasha, Mimi, and Rumi follow suit. Lalon, seeing everyone’s support, hugs Choton.

Meanwhile, Arshi asks Anirudh to sign some papers. Shubh mentions that he’s already prepared the documents. Tanuja tells Anirudh that he has no need to do anything for Jhanak, questioning whether Jhanak was ever truly ill. Anirudh stands firm, saying he promised Arshi. Arshi questions the value of his promise, and Anirudh suggests that he’ll be leaving for abroad in a week, so it won’t matter.

Shubh scolds Anirudh, saying that he has made a mockery of his marriage. Anirudh retorts that people’s true nature never changes, and Tanuja warns him. Arshi expresses her disappointment, claiming that she can’t trust him anymore despite everything she’s endured.

In a tense exchange, Anirudh asks why she stays with him if she finds him so bad. Arshi reminds him that she married him with the hope of not breaking the relationship, but he’s only broken her trust. He finally agrees to sign the papers.

Tanuja, still furious, insists that Anirudh will break all connections with Jhanak. Shubh warns Anirudh to read the documents carefully as he will be strictly punished if the conditions aren’t met. Anirudh taunts Shubh and then decides to step outside for some fresh air.

As Anirudh leaves, he and Jhanak both think of each other. The song Tere Mere Milan plays, with Anirudh reflecting on how it might be better if he just left everything behind. Jhanak, however, cries as she wonders about the future, while Anirudh, burdened with sadness, struggles to keep going.
