Saras and Kumud update Thursday 3 April 2025

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Yash’s mother asking Badimaa how she broke her fast. Everyone looks at Saras, asking what he did to convince Badimaa to eat. Badimaa explains that she wasn’t agreeing at first, but Saras threatened that if she didn’t eat, he would also go on a fast. Reluctantly, she gave in. Vidyachatur hugs Saras in appreciation. Kalika watches the scene, thinking to herself that lies upon lies are being told, but she’ll reveal the truth soon enough.

Kusum approaches Danny and asks for her charger, explaining that she plans to go to the temple to pray for Didi. Danny offers to go with her, but Kusum insists that she will go alone and that Danny should rest. He agrees, offering to make tea for her, but Kusum says she’ll handle that too. Danny leaves, and Kusum prepares for her visit.

Meanwhile, Saras is peacefully sleeping, thinking about Kumud. O Piya plays as he recalls his beautiful moments with her. He smiles when he receives a good morning message on his phone. Just then, Kusum enters, startling him awake. She wishes him a good morning and states that she will take care of him until Didi returns. Saras tells her he can manage on his own, but Kusum insists they will look for Didi together today. Saras agrees to join her, feeling hopeful.

Kusum arrives at the Desai house and is shocked to see Kalika blocking her path. Kalika taunts her, asking if she went to meet Danny. Kusum dismisses her and is about to leave when Kalika tells her that someone saw Kumud near the temple, and she has information about it. Kusum doubts her and accuses Kalika of lying. Kalika responds cryptically, saying that once Kumud returns, Saras will distance himself from Kusum. She tells Kusum that time is running out, and once Kumud is back, Saras will never let Kusum near him. Kalika leaves, her words lingering in Kusum’s mind.

Back at home, Danny notices the breakfast Kusum left behind and assumes it was for him. Saras, seeing this, smiles, reflecting that although he is apart from Kumud, it’s nice to see Kusum and Danny grow closer. Vidyachatur, Guniyal, and Badimaa are in a tense discussion when Kalika enters with tea. Kusum appears to be troubled, and they all question her, but she makes excuses. Saras enters, and Kusum brightens at the sight of him. Danny arrives shortly after, asking Kusum why she didn’t go to the temple. She explains that she wanted to pray for Kumud’s well-being. Vidyachatur asks why Kusum hadn’t shared this with them earlier. Saras suggests that Danny take Kusum to the temple, and Badimaa agrees, thinking it would be good for them to go. Before they leave, Saras assures them that Kumud will return in a couple of days.

Afterward, Saras shares a humorous moment with Dadaji, both laughing about how they’re both afraid of Kumud. Dadaji then asks about the situation with Kusum and Danny. Saras explains that Kusum made breakfast for him and mentioned some addresses to help find Kumud. Dadaji praises Kusum for her efforts, believing she’ll come to value Danny’s love. Meanwhile, Kalika, who is eavesdropping, is curious about the growing closeness between Saras and Dadaji. She decides to investigate further.

Kalika sneaks into the room and takes Saras’s phone, calling the last dialed number. However, the call is switched off, and she jots down the number to call it from her phone later. Saras returns and notices his phone missing. Kalika quickly hands it back to him, feigning innocence. Saras takes it and leaves, unaware of Kalika’s scheming.

Kusum and Danny are on their way to the temple. Kusum continues to mislead Danny about their destination, and eventually, he stops the car and demands to know where they are going. Kusum breaks down, explaining that she wanted Saras to come with them so he could understand that she’s not selfish. She says she’s done everything for Saras and even Kumud gave her permission to marry him, but now it feels like everyone hates her. Her words touch Danny, and he hugs her, assuring her that he doesn’t hate her and that everything will be okay.
