Jhanak update Friday 4 April 2025

Jhanak: The episode begins with Anirudh informing Jhanak that an advertising agency contacted him, seeking a new face for a campaign. He mentions that he suggested her name and they accepted, but he didn’t want to mention his involvement because he knew she might refuse. He tells her he wants her to succeed and become famous, and that he knows she will meet Appu, Choton, Anjana, and Bablu—nobody else.

Meanwhile, Jhanak sits quietly, reflecting on her emotions. She says, “I’m leaving with my wife; my life is full of misunderstandings. I love you, Jhanak,” and he thinks of her. Jhanak begins to cry and says, “I love you, Sir Ji. I can’t live without you. This is the greatest punishment of my life, being forced to stay away from you. I don’t know how I will manage.”

Mrinalini announces that she is going home, but Choton insists that they need to talk about something important. Anjana expresses her happiness over their friendship, and Dadi comments that it would have been better if they had gotten married, noting that Choton lacks direction in life. Choton and the others are teased about this by Dadi and Anjana. Choton hesitates before announcing, “I’ve decided.”

Anjana asks, “What, you want to stay unmarried? We have no problem if that makes you happy.” Choton denies it, and Dadi mentions that he had previously said he wanted to leave the house. Choton clarifies, “No, I meant I was leaving for a job.” Mrinalini smiles, and Anjana asks if he has a job. Choton responds, “No, I’m not going anywhere.” Dadi, surprised, says, “You’re staying at home then?” Anjana asks what he’s trying to say, and Choton insists, “I’m not going anywhere.”

Dadi, amused, tells Mrinalini to go home as there’s much work to do, but Choton says, “You didn’t let me tell the real reason.” Mrinalini, confused, asks him to explain. He finally admits, “I’m thinking of getting married and starting a family.”

Anjana, teasing, says, “Oh, okay, you lost a nice girl, how will we find a girl for you now?” She jokingly asks Mrinalini if she knows anyone. Dadi, excited, says, “It’s a good thing, Choton! I’ll find a nice bride for you.” However, she reminds him that Meenu won’t marry him now since he didn’t marry her earlier. Choton, nervously, says, “No, I was saying it’s my age to get married.”

Anjana, pressing him, asks if he truly wants to marry a girl. Choton looks uncertain, and Anjana, teasingly, says, “If you want to marry, let us find someone for you.” Dadi is keen to find a bride and mentions that they had previously chosen Meenu. Choton, suddenly decisive, says, “I want to marry Meenu now.” Dadi and Anjana smile, but Dadi adds, “Meenu has refused to marry you.” Choton is embarrassed as Mrinalini stays silent.

In another scene, Arshi enters the room and notices Anirudh looking down. She asks if he hasn’t packed his clothes yet. He replies that he doesn’t feel good about it. Arshi, trying to reassure him, tells him to trust her and to just do the packing. Aditya arrives and asks about the preparations.

Jhanak mentions they are leaving for two days, but Aditya informs her that the creative director wants to speak with her. Jhanak, puzzled, agrees to talk, and Aditya makes the call. The director on the other end expresses his happiness that Jhanak agreed to the shoot, crediting Anirudh for suggesting her. He then adds that Anirudh will be shifting abroad in two days, which shocks everyone.

Meanwhile, Appu and Lalon are having a conversation when the Commissioner arrives with a special dish for them. Appu mentions it’s her favorite, and she teases that Shubh never gave her this dish. Anuradha urges her to eat it, and Appu responds happily.

The Commissioner, now serious, mentions how the man enjoying success is benefiting from money that belongs to Appu’s husband, Shubh. Anuradha grows sad at this revelation. Appu asks if Shubh was poor before, and Anuradha silently acknowledges the truth. The Commissioner promises to take legal action and send a legal notice, mentioning he found a good lawyer.

Jhanak, still grappling with her emotions, asks Aditya if he’s aware of Anirudh’s decision to leave with his wife. Aditya responds, “Yes, Anirudh will succeed and gain fame, but he’ll have his own family soon.”

Jhanak retorts, “Don’t create more drama. Stay out of my life.” Aditya, trying to ease the tension, says, “You know I mean no harm,” but Jhanak insists, “Please, don’t interfere with my feelings.”

Arshi, frustrated, taunts Anirudh, asking if he’s being disloyal to her. She accuses him of wanting to return to Jhanak, to which Anirudh responds sharply, wondering why Arshi still stays with him if that’s the case.
