Saras and Kumud update Sunday 6 April 2025

Saras and Kumud: The episode begins with Danny searching for Kusum. Kusum follows Saras and tracks his movements. Kalika hears someone approaching and hides quickly. Saras arrives at the locked room, and Kusum wonders why he’s going there. She peeks inside and sees Saras talking to someone. Saras says, “What we planned has worked. Kusum and Danny are getting closer.”

Kalika, running downstairs, breathes a sigh of relief and looks at the keys. She wonders who else could be involved, apart from her, at this time. Yash enters and she is startled. He asks her where she was. Kalika makes an excuse and asks him to leave, promising to join him later. Yash leaves, and Kalika feels relieved.

Meanwhile, Danny is frantically calling out for Kusum, and finds her slippers. He searches for her, growing more anxious. Saras explains to Kumud that Kusum had been struggling today. Danny had been helping her, and now Kusum regrets her actions. He believes that she only has Danny’s support now, and that soon, she’ll realize her mistake and understand Danny’s love for her. Saras smiles, adding that everything will go according to their plan.

Kusum, however, is shocked to see Kumud and Saras together. Kumud smiles and says, “Yes Saras, I’m so happy for Kusum. It’s all happening like we hoped.” Saras and Kumud embrace. Saras says, “If, after all this, they don’t come closer, I’ll leave for Dubai forever.” Kumud pleads with him, asking him not to say that.

Kusum, devastated, watches the scene unfold. Kumud tells her, “Don’t ever leave me. I can forgive any mistake, but don’t leave me. I’m sure our plan will work—Danny and Kusum will come closer, and our lie will be accepted.” Saras gives her a silent nod. Kusum, in shock, begins to reflect on the manipulation she endured—how Saras had frightened her into searching for Kumud. Her thoughts are interrupted by Kalika, who enters Guniyal’s room to return the keys. Someone knocks on the door, and Kalika anxiously hides the keys, pretending she was just waking Guniyal up.

Guniyal, half-awake, says “Kalika?” Kalika tells her that she came to wake her, as someone was knocking. Guniyal goes to check, and finds Danny at the door, asking about Kusum’s whereabouts. As they talk, something falls, and Danny notices Kusum in a dazed state. Kalika, surprised to see her, watches Danny rush to Kusum’s side, asking what happened. Kusum collapses, and everyone quickly gathers around her. Danny sprinkles water on her, and Kusum regains consciousness, looking at Danny holding her hand.

Everyone, including Saras, asks her what happened. Kusum gazes at Saras before standing up. Vidyachatur, seeing Kumud, expresses his joy, embracing her. Guniyal follows, also hugging Kumud. Yash’s mother questions where Kumud had been, and why she didn’t inform anyone. Vidyachatur asks Kumud what was going on, and she explains that she had been staying at a lodge until yesterday. She came here when the family went to the temple, and Saras had brought her here.

Kalika, suspicious, questions if Kumud knew about her role in unlocking the door. Vidyachatur asks Saras if this is true, to which Yash’s mother confirms. She explains that Saras had been there because of Kumud.

Kusum, deeply upset, confronts Kumud. She accuses Saras of doing this to teach her a lesson, asking, “Didn’t you plan all of this to make me realize my mistakes?” Kusum says that her sister’s eyes have hurt her more than any physical burn. She admits her mistake and apologizes to Kumud. “The Lord has chosen Saras for you,” she says, acknowledging that she was wrong to try and take him away.

Kumud and Saras’ plan has worked—Kusum is beginning to understand the depth of her mistakes, and a new path for the family seems possible.
