Saras and Kumud update Friday 18 April 2025

Saras tells Badimaa that Kumud unknowingly took the fake pearl because he still has the original one with him. Badimaa laughs hearing this. Yash overhears their conversation and smiles secretly.

Meanwhile, Kumud examines the pearl in her hand and wonders why it has lost its shine. Yash approaches her and reveals that Saras planted a fake pearl for her, which is the one she found. Kumud, surprised, says, “This one’s fake? I searched everywhere.

Where did he hide the real one?” Yash tells her that he overheard Saras and Badimaa talking, and that Saras kept the original pearl close to his heart in his shirt pocket.

Later, Saras returns home and sees the family engaged in conversation. Vidyachatur asks him to call Danny and tell him to come soon. Saras agrees.

While Kumud is preparing laddus, Badimaa compliments her on the taste. Kumud offers them to everyone in the house. Saras starts looking around for her. Yash casually asks Saras if he has met Kumud yet. When Saras says no, Yash encourages him to go find her.

Saras accidentally bumps into Kumari, who apologizes and tells him to change his shirt. He eventually finds Kumud, who is in tears. Concerned, Saras asks why she’s crying. She says she doesn’t really know.

He gently asks if someone said anything hurtful or if she was upset that he left without informing her. Kumud admits she was hurt initially but wasn’t angry after learning the reason. She hugs him and slyly reaches for the pearl in his pocket. She successfully retrieves it and smiles.

Saras, realizing what happened, smiles and says, “I promise I’ll never leave you alone.” Kumud responds, “I’m okay now. You can go. I want to be alone for a bit.” He asks what’s wrong. She reveals the pearl in her hand and laughs. He chases after her, trying to get it back. “You’re cheating in love!” he says. Kumud playfully retorts, “All’s fair in love and war.”

Saras insists on taking back his pearl, but Kumud teases him, saying, “Try and take it from me if you can!” He runs after her as Vidyachatur watches them fondly.

Kumud passes the pearl to Kumari. Saras turns to Kumari and pleads for the pearl back. Kumari denies and runs. When Saras reminds her she was on his team, she replies cheekily, “I switched sides.” Yash helps him by catching Kumari, but the pearl is no longer with her Kumud still has it and shows it proudly. Saras resumes the chase.

The playful song “Mann Ke Dor” begins to play.

Saras tells her to hand it over, or else… Kumud laughs and challenges him, jokingly offering him methi laddus instead. She warns him he’ll regret it if she keeps the pearl.

As she runs, she bumps into Yash’s mother, who scolds her. In the commotion, the pearl drops. Kusum shouts, “Didi, the pearl!” Kumud and Saras dash toward it, and the whole family watches eagerly, betting on who will win the race.

Even Kalika smiles as she sees Kumud and Saras sharing such a moment for the first time. Kusum comments, “This is lovely to watch.”

Saras sneakily grabs the pearl and wins. Dadaji laughs. Kumud protests, calling it cheating. Saras throws her own words back at her, “Didn’t someone say all’s fair in love and war?” He proudly shows the pearl to everyone.

Kumud accuses him of stealing it. Saras reminds her that she did the same. Their banter continues as everyone watches in amusement.

When Kumud says she won’t talk to him unless he gives the pearl back, Saras jokes with Dadaji, saying, “Looks like I’ll have a peaceful day.” Everyone laughs. Kumud, annoyed, says she’ll only speak to her team.

Kalika joins Kumud’s side, and Vidyachatur jokingly declares his support for Kumud too. Kumud tells him to go back to Saras. Saras asks Kusum who has the pearl. Kusum confirms it’s with him. Saras grins at Kumud and says, “Since the pearl is with me, I’ll be ruling this house.”

Saras says he has to leave. Kumud says she’s leaving too. He replies, “Then go.” Saras walks away smiling. Kusum announces Saras has won. Kalika smiles to herself. Kusum checks if Kalika is feeling okay. Kalika nods and says she’s fine. But in her mind, she thinks about her hidden motives and how her actions will eventually hurt everyone.

Meanwhile, Saras talks to Danny. Kumud and Saras continue their light-hearted arguments, and the family discusses their sweet moments.

Yash’s mom questions Kalika’s sudden kindness toward Kumud. Kalika cryptically says they’ll soon receive “sweets” and smirks.

Kusum suggests sending Saras and Kumud out together so they can have some private time to talk. Vidyachatur asks where they should go. Yash suggests a movie. Kumari proposes sending them somewhere farther. Vidyachatur decides to send them under the pretext of work. Badimaa doubts they’ll agree and tells them to think of something else. Kumari cheekily says, “Chandu Halwai!”
