Anupama update Tuesday 22 April 2025

The episode begins with Anupama addressing Kinjal, Toshu, Pakhi, Dolly, and Baa. She asks them if they’ve never told a lie if they’ve never skipped class to watch a movie or hang out with friends. S

he reminds them that even Baa must’ve lied to protect her children from Babu ji’s anger. She says everyone has made mistakes, and while that doesn’t justify children lying, it’s unfair to expect perfection from them when adults are guilty too.

She highlights the communication gap between generations and says the real problem is that they don’t truly listen or try to understand one another. She encourages everyone to put their phones down and engage with each other, to stop being stingy in recognizing goodness and start having meaningful conversations.

In the kitchen, Prem reflects that Anupama has forgiven him and allowed him to stay in the house. Anupama turns to Kinjal and questions whether anyone asked Pari what she wants to be. She might be excelling in school, but if she chooses a career she’s passionate about, she’ll work even harder and won’t feel burdened.

She reminds Toshu that while he loves Pari, Kinjal also wants what’s best for her, and he needs to support his wife. She points out that added stress brings health issues and encourages a united front.

Anupama tells Pakhi that forcing one’s unfulfilled dreams onto children is wrong. She never got to wear what she liked or follow her own path and now Pakhi is doing the same to Ishu.

She asks whether Ishu has no right to dream. Then she brings up Ansh and Mahi, pointing out how they too are part of the family but are often neglected, even though they love everyone deeply.

She scolds Dolly for being detached, with no responsibilities and everything handled by Baa, urging her to at least take care of herself and come out of her shell.

Anupama says this chapter in their lives may be full of sorrow, but they must keep turning the pages until they find happiness again. Kinjal asks what if the next page also brings sadness. Anupama replies, “Then turn to the next one until we find a happy page.”

She says they must make time for each other, talk more, and understand one another. Today they played and won, and Baa, who always complains of knee pain, joined in with enthusiasm. Anupama says instead of sitting on a swing, Baa can lead them and guide them with her wisdom.

To the younger generation, Anupama says with freedom comes responsibility. Their rights are the elders’ responsibility, and vice versa. Everyone smiles, moved by her words.

Pari apologizes to Kinjal and Toshu for overstepping and promises to take care of her health. They apologize too, promising to fight less. Kinjal says she’ll express concern with love, not anger. They hug. Pakhi apologizes to Ishu for overwhelming her and tells her to only do what she can.

Toshu comforts Ansh, saying Samar was like a son to him, so he sees Ansh the same way. Kinjal tells Mahi she’s there for her. Everyone is filled with warmth.

Prem brings sherbet. Anupama makes him promise not to lie again, and he agrees. She says her dream, and someone else’s too, is to make “Anu Ki Rasoi” a big success. Prem says they’ll achieve it together. He cheers, and everyone drinks.

He silently admires how Anupama has brought everyone together but wonders who is truly there to support her. She steps outside and sees an elderly couple caring for each other, and then a grandmother being surprised by her family on her 75th birthday. She’s touched and takes a hopeful selfie with a peepal tree.

Back home, Mahi, Ishu, and Pari prepare Bhai Dooj gifts for Ansh. Anupama is surprised—they usually expect gifts from him. Ishu says they only have one brother, and Aadhya is asked to apply tika since she’s like a sister to Ansh. Aadhya dismisses it as drama.

Ansh says she avoids relationships because she fears losing them. Anupama hugs him. The girls tease Mahi about marriage, and she promises to share when the time comes. They all laugh and joke about getting a ghar jamai husband.

Aadhya secretly calls her friend Bubbly and says she misses the kids and will return soon. Ansh overhears and walks away. Bubbly sees Prem on video and jokes with him. Aadhya shooes him away, but he playfully grabs her phone and runs.

Ansh arrives and aggressively warns Prem to stay away from his sisters. Prem insists he didn’t misbehave and challenges Ansh. Aadhya intervenes and says she can handle herself. Ansh shows her the rakhis from Anu Maa and says he considers Aadhya his elder sister and would defend her at any cost.

Aadhya tells him not to talk about dying and wishes him a long life. She runs off after a tender moment. Prem hopes to create happy memories with her.

Meanwhile, Dolly and Baa miss Vanraj, and Anupama misses Samar. She says Ansh reminds her of Samar protective and full of love for his sisters. Mahi, Ishu, and Pari arrive to celebrate Bhai Dooj.

Kinjal compliments Pari’s dress. Pakhi declines a work call because Ishani needed a break. Ishu thanks her. Ansh says, “Let Rahi come,” and Baa corrects him she’s his fui, but he says he sees her as a sister. Aadhya walks in.
