Saras and Kumud

The episode begins with lively wedding preparations in full swing. Dada ji surprises everyone by walking on his own for the first time, bringing immense joy to the family. Amid the happiness, Yash’s mother expresses her frustration, feeling excluded and disrespected since no one assigned her any responsibilities. Kalika, trying to console her and plot her own moment of glory, says, “Just wait until my guests arrive—then you’ll see who truly deserves respect.”

Meanwhile, beauticians arrive to get Kumud ready. Kusum escorts them to Kumud’s room. Yash notices Kalika fuming and asks what’s wrong. Kalika complains that no one informed her about the arrival of the makeup artists. Yash gently tells her they’re here for Kumud and Kusum. Kalika, feeling overlooked, insists she needs to get ready too. Yash tries to pacify her by saying she doesn’t need makeup, and to let the brides have their moment today. Kalika, however, remains upset.

As Kumud begins to get ready, Kalika grows increasingly desperate for attention. “Forget the bride,” she brags, “everyone will be looking at me.” Kusum chuckles, amused. Kumud requests a soft, subtle makeup look, but Kalika insists the makeup artist use extra bleaching powder on her, despite warnings it may irritate the skin. Determined to outshine everyone, Kalika demands to look the most beautiful. Meanwhile, Kumud tries to contact someone and leaves a message, wondering why Badimaa and Kusum haven’t returned yet.

Later, the family admires Kumud in her bridal attire. Dada ji tells her she looks more radiant than a pearl. Kumud asks about Badimaa and Kusum, and Vidyachatur explains that they’ve gone to bring Saras. Kumud and her father share a lighthearted moment, laughing and embracing. Still, she grows anxious about their delay.

Guests begin to arrive for the wedding and praise Vidyachatur for having such wonderful sons-in-law. Guniyal asks about Kalika’s whereabouts, and Yash offers to check on her. Meanwhile, the priest arrives, and Vidyachatur greets him warmly.

Yash finds Kalika crying. Concerned, he asks what happened. Kalika reveals her face—red and irritated from the excessive bleaching. Shocked, Yash tries to comfort her. Guests also react in surprise when they see her, though she still looks presentable. Kalika, feeling humiliated, yells at everyone not to stare and waits anxiously, expecting someone to disrupt the wedding.

Soon, the baraat (groom’s procession) arrives. Badimaa and Kusum join the celebrations, dancing joyfully as Saras arrives on horseback. From the terrace, Dada ji calls out to Kumud, “Your prince has arrived,” bringing a smile to her face. Still, Kumud eagerly checks her phone, waiting for a reply.

Inside, the family enthusiastically welcomes the baraat. Danny dances with Badimaa and Kusum, adding to the festive spirit. As Saras enters the Desai house, he and Kumud exchange loving smiles. Saras dismounts, and Vidyachatur warmly embraces him. Kusum leaves to bring Kumud, while Guniyal performs the traditional tilak ceremony for Saras.

As Kumud walks in, she and Saras lovingly exchange garlands while everyone cheers and claps. Guniyal continues with the wedding rituals, formally welcoming Saras into their home, as the joyful occasion unfolds.
