Saras and Kumud update Thursday 24 April 2025

The episode begins with a fresh morning at the Desai house. Kumud is playing cards with Dada ji, who laughs when she gives him tamarind. The family members are busy with their preparations for the day.

Vidyachatur announces that they will leave now, and Dada ji encourages them to go. Everyone notices a large gift box and wonders who sent it. Dada ji suggests they open it. Kumud opens the box to find a photo of Saras and herself.

Shocked, Kumud exclaims that they never took this photo. Dada ji jokes that it’s probably a prank, maybe from someone in the family, and they all laugh. Dada ji reminds them to head to Saras’s house for the haldi ceremony, and everyone leaves happily.

At Saras’s house, Vidyachatur humorously tears Saras’s kurta. Saras is confused and asks why, to which Vidyachatur explains it’s part of the “Kurta Phaad” tradition. The family chases after Saras to tear his kurta, and Saras quickly removes it.

Badimaa saves him and insists that he sit down for the haldi ritual. Guniyal starts the haldi ceremony, followed by Badimaa, while Kalika watches from the sidelines. Everyone applies haldi to Saras, and the atmosphere is filled with teasing and laughter.

Badimaa receives a call from Dada ji and talks to him about the two girls she called for help. She asks if they’ve arrived yet; if not, she’ll come home, as it’s also Kumud’s haldi time. Kumud, dressed in yellow, sits happily in the middle of the group.

Badimaa waits for the girls, and Saras and Danny, disguised as women, enter the Desai house. They are comically dressed and cause everyone to laugh. Saras glances at Kumud and compliments her, though in his disguised state, they are barely recognizable.

The family sings and claps, celebrating the occasion. Saras and Danny ask if they can also apply haldi. The family agrees, and Saras applies haldi to Kumud, staring at her affectionately. Kumud senses his presence, and a romantic tune, Piya… plays in the background.

Danny then applies haldi to Kumud’s nose and Kusum. Kumud recognizes them, and they laugh together. The two women chase after them, ready to give them a bath. Kusum and Kalika throw water at Saras and Danny, leading to a series of playful moments.

Everyone enjoys the chaos, throwing more water on the disguised men. Saras tells Kumud that he came to see her because she looks so beautiful. Kumud laughs in return. Dada ji eventually stops Saras and notices his outfit. Saras explains that after overhearing Badimaa’s conversation, they decided to step in for the girls.

Dada ji laughs and jokes that he has the “pearl” (Saras), hinting that he will rule the house. Guniyal humorously adds that Kumud will be the one to rule the house. The family shares a laugh as Kumud and Saras exchange smiles.

Danny and Kusum decorate a room, and Danny playfully closes Kusum’s eyes, asking her not to open them until he says so. He reveals the surprise, and Kusum is amazed by the result. The two grow closer, but Kusum says goodbye and leaves.

Badimaa then visits Kumud, who is anxiously waiting for Saras. Kumud glances at the clock, and Badimaa offers her some food. Kumud laughs after accidentally biting her finger. Meanwhile, Guniyal is busy packing Kumud’s belongings. Badimaa thinks of a gift and hands Kumud baby clothes, causing Kumud to cry tears of happiness.
