Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 22 April 2025

The episode begins with Kumud speaking to Saras, commenting on how happy he looks. He replies that his happiness comes from not seeing her pain. Kumud reassures him that she can hide her pain.

Saras expresses his desire to share her sorrows and pain, making her smile. Badimaa joins them and gives them both a warm hug. Meanwhile, someone is seen taking pictures of the couple.

Saras tenderly cares for Kumud’s feet, while Badimaa, Guniyal, and Kusum bring oil to massage them. The women ask Saras to leave for now since it’s the start of the mehendi ritual and he shouldn’t meet Kumud before the wedding. He reluctantly leaves, contemplating how he will manage without her for the next two days.

As the mehendi ritual begins, Kumud is seen smiling and enjoying the moment with her family. Kusum, Kumari, and Kalika dance and encourage the elders to join in, which adds to Kumud’s happiness.

Kalika, however, seems to have a hidden agenda regarding the upcoming wedding. Later that night, Kumud admires her mehendi and searches for Saras’s name within the intricate design. Saras quietly sneaks into her room through the window, disregarding the rules set by their families. He tells her he cannot stay away from her.

Saras suggests taking Kumud to a surprise location, despite the risk of being caught. Kumud hesitates, knowing they could get into trouble if anyone finds out. Saras playfully fills her bed with pillows to cover up their absence, then lifts her to take her to the surprise location.

Meanwhile, Kusum receives a call from Danny, who is feeling restless. She tries to avoid his requests but ends up ending the call abruptly. Saras brings Kumud to a candlelight dinner, where they laugh over noodles, which Saras proudly cooked.

Kumud jokes that after their marriage, she won’t need to cook, as he’ll survive on noodles and coffee. Saras, excited about their future together, teases her about the meals they’ll share. Kumud is touched when he tells her he’s excited for their marriage.

A man in the distance watches them, continuing to take their pictures. Kumud then shares a heartfelt moment, mentioning how the moon reminded her of Saras when he wasn’t around, to which he responds that she is the light of his life. They share an emotional hug.

Saras compliments Kumud on her beauty and tries to take a pearl from her dress. When Kumud reacts, he praises her beauty again before finally taking the pearl. He then asks her to show him her mehendi, asking where his name is. She teasingly tells him he must find it himself.

The next morning, Kalika enters Kumud’s room and is shocked to find only pillows under the blanket. She laughs, mocking that the bride-to-be is missing just before her wedding. Kalika alerts everyone, and they are surprised to find the bed empty.

Dada Ji chuckles, suggesting that Kumud is quite clever. Kalika is confused as no one reacts to her revelation. Kusum notices Kumud’s phone still in the room, which surprises everyone, including Kalika.

Badimaa, suspecting where Kumud might be, calls Danny to inquire about Saras. Danny confirms that Saras isn’t at home. Badimaa then reveals to everyone that Saras is also absent. The family laughs, realizing they know where the couple is.

Just then, Saras and Kumud quietly return home in the early morning, trying not to wake anyone. Kumud is surprised, and Saras shows her the pearl he had taken from her dress. She is left in awe as they share a tender moment.
