Soulmate update Tuesday 22 April 2025

The episode begins with the family discussing Akash and Riya’s decision to sleep in a tent on the terrace. Riya brushes it off, saying it was no big deal, and that she and Akash simply enjoyed it.

Renu urges Akash to explain things to Riya. Mamta then arrives at the house, visibly angry, and demands that Riya come home with her. She insists that Riya and Akash should stay at her place.

Renu asks Mamta why she is so upset, and Mamta responds, criticizing the family for not being able to provide Riya with luxury or even a proper room. She scorns the idea of Riya sleeping in a tent on the terrace, calling it shameful. Riya defends herself, stating it was her choice to do so.

Mamta refuses to listen and insists Riya should come with her. Sachin overhears the argument and walks in. Renu tries to explain that there had been issues before, but Mamta continues her tirade, bringing up past events like Paresh pleading for a loan from Joy to build the house.

She accuses the family of not knowing how many children they would have and criticizes the decision to build rooms that weren’t adequate for everyone. Sayali intervenes, telling Mamta to stop, but Mamta keeps going, arguing that nothing she said was wrong.

Sachin steps in, telling Mamta to stop insulting the family. Mamta calls Sachin a goon, which only escalates the tension. Sayali tries to defend her husband, saying that Mamta shouldn’t expect respect if she can’t show any.

Renu steps in, telling Mamta to stop. Mamta continues to demand that Riya come with her, and Roshni pleads with Mamta to at least listen to Renu. Sachin, frustrated, says it’s good that Riya is leaving and asks Akash to go with her. Mamta insists that Riya should come with her, ignoring the family’s pleas.

Paresh enters the room and asks what’s going on. Mamta tells him that Riya won’t stay in the house. Paresh tries to deescalate the situation, but Mamta claims there is no room for Riya in the house. Riya, however, contradicts her, saying that Paresh had given his room to them, and that she and Akash had decided to sleep in the tent.

Sayali shows Mamta the room, confirming that there was indeed space. Sachin and Sayali express their frustration with Mamta’s words, and Renu asks her to drop the matter before it causes a rift in the family.

Sachin, upset, continues to scold Mamta, but Paresh urges him to calm down and apologize. Sachin refuses, storms out, and Paresh offers an apology instead. Paresh asks Riya to be more transparent with Mamta in the future, and Riya agrees to be more careful. She then takes Mamta to show her the room.

Meanwhile, Sachin is at a club with his friends, drinking and venting about Mamta’s insults toward Paresh. His friends urge him to calm down, but Sachin continues to express his anger, feeling deeply hurt by the way Mamta disrespected his father.
