Anupama update Saturday 26 April 2025
The episode begins with Aadhya, also known as Rahi, trying to fill out a competition form when her pen stops working. Frustrated, she wonders if fate is against her. Prem arrives and offers her his pen. He then sits beside her and reveals that he too is entering the competition. Aadhya states that she’s doing it for Anupama ji’s prize money and to escape her current life. She then asks Prem about his motivation. Prem recalls Khalnayak’s threatening words.
Aadhya taunts that Prem won’t win. He confidently replies that he will, in fact, be the winner. She mocks him for being overconfident, and they challenge each other—each determined to prove the other wrong.
Meanwhile, Toshu and Kinjal encourage Pari not to stress, assuring her they’ll support her desires. They remind her that she must win. Pakhi motivates Ishu, saying that winning will increase her followers and opportunities. Ishu decides to seek Anupama’s help. When asked, Anupama readily agrees, and Ishu hugs her.
Elsewhere, Mahi is dancing while cooking, telling herself she must win the competition—not just for the prize, but also to win Prem’s heart. Anupama notices and gently tells her that dancing should come from within, not from pressure to win or impress others. Mahi requests Anupama to teach her, and Anupama agrees.
Later, Anupama hears music and finds Aadhya practicing in her room but struggling with the steps. She corrects Aadhya’s movements from outside the room. Aadhya watches and mirrors her, realizing she might need Anupama’s help to win.
Meanwhile, Pakhi warns Ishu that Anupama might sabotage her chances by favoring her own daughter, Aadhya. Ishu asserts that despite that, she’ll still emerge victorious.
Everyone arrives to submit their forms. Prem asks Mahi to submit his form as he steps away. Ansh teases, asking if Mahi is now his personal assistant. Pari insists that everyone should submit their forms with ID, no exceptions. Prem, trying to keep a low profile, hides his face when someone recognizes him and offers him VIP treatment, which he refuses.
As the participants line up, Mahi confidently says she’ll win with Anupama’s support. Aadhya, however, internally declares that her goal is to defeat Anupama ji and that her victory will be Anupama’s downfall.
Back at home, Baa comments on how mobile phones distract people. The kids confirm they’ve registered. Pakhi reminds that today is the final day. Baa says no matter who wins, the prize money belongs to the household. When they ask Anupama who will win the Gujrat Superstar title, Aadhya unexpectedly bows and touches her feet, calling her “Guru” and acknowledging her guidance in dance.
Anupama blesses her, wishing that even the divine Nataraj would pause to watch her dance. Aadhya says she hopes even Goddess Lakshmi stops for her performance—because she is doing this for the money—and asks Anupama to bless her to be the winner.
Later, Prem bumps into a man on the road, causing him to drop roasted chickpeas. The man angrily demands compensation. Prem stares him down with a threatening look, and the man walks away, scared.
Back at home, Aadhya once again asks Anupama for a blessing. Pakhi also demands her blessing, assuming she would naturally favor her own daughter. Instead, Anupama blesses all the children—Aadhya, Ishu, Mahi, Ansh, and Pari—saying she wants the best among them to win, and that karma decides the outcome.
Each parent roots for their child. Aadhya criticizes Anupama for treating her like an outsider even now. She brings up an old memory where Anupama didn’t show up for a school event, causing her to be disqualified. She accuses Anupama of prioritizing the Shah family over her and her father (Anuj), and for making her feel unwanted.
Anupama tries to reconcile, suggesting they start anew. But Aadhya refuses, declaring that she will never forget the pain. She feels she’s always been second in Anupama’s life. Aadhya says that although she asked for blessings, Anupama didn’t truly give them. She adds that Anupama has Stockholm syndrome—loving those who mistreat her—and criticizes her for still caring about the Shahs, who once abused her.
Ansh and Pari defend Anupama, saying she has always supported them. Baa insists that Anupama still belongs to their family. Aadhya sharply reminds everyone that Anupama is divorced from Toshu’s father and is being used by them. She announces that her hatred for Anupama is her strongest motivation, and in order to defeat her, she must outshine all the other contestants.
Anupama is left in tears.
Later, Kinjal, Pakhi, Toshu, and Baa confront Aadhya. They accuse her of demoralizing the kids. Aadhya argues back, saying she’s only aiming to win. Tensions rise as the parents begin arguing among themselves about whose child is more serious about the competition. Aadhya watches and laughs, pointing out that Anupama’s “loving family” is falling apart.
Anupama arrives and sees the conflict. She says she’ll withdraw all the children from the competition if things continue like this. Pakhi accuses her of doing so to help Aadhya win. Anupama clarifies that she meant all children, including Rahi (Aadhya). Baa tells her to rein in her daughter, who’s the root of all this discord. Pakhi, Toshu, and Kinjal insist their kids will still compete.
