Jhanak update Saturday 26 April 2025

The episode begins with the pandit suggesting that they should all take Jhanak along. Guru ji agrees and mentions that she deserves a new name.

The pandit decides to perform her naming ceremony and declares that she will now be known as Notun, meaning “new,” as she has received a second chance at life. Jhanak smiles at the name. A girl nearby tells Jhanak she’ll enjoy attending Pallavi’s wedding.

Jhanak leaves, and the pandit comments that she knows the dance style taught by Guru ji’s lineage and is familiar with Urvashi, indicating a deeper connection. Guru ji reflects and says he hasn’t heard Urvashi’s name in years.

He explains that he walked away from Urvashi for her own good, fearing that if KulBhushan discovered he was alive, he would harm Urvashi. Guru ji changed his path in life to protect her.

The pandit then asks whether Guru ji and Urvashi ever lived as husband and wife and wonders if Urvashi could have been pregnant. Guru ji says Urvashi never mentioned anything and suddenly vanished from his life, so he wouldn’t know. The pandit insists that Urvashi would never betray him and suggests that if she had a child, it would be his — perhaps Notun is that child. Guru ji refuses to believe it and breaks down emotionally.

Meanwhile, Arshi arrives at the house angrily, demanding to know where Anirudh is. She argues with Bablu, prompting Lal to interfere and mock him. Anjana and Bablu defend themselves. Just then, Shubh and Tanuja walk in, asking about the commotion. Choton also enters, surprised to see Arshi, and questions why she returned after leaving. Arshi coldly dismisses him, saying she owes no explanation. Dadi, however, welcomes Arshi warmly.

Back at the ashram, Jhanak joins the others in dancing. The pandit tells Guru ji that Kul Bhushan ruined his life and urges him to stand up and face him. Guru ji resists, but the pandit insists he fight for his art and reunite with Urvashi.

He reveals that both Guru ji and Kul Bhushan look alike, and Urvashi was deceived because she didn’t know the truth. Guru ji admits he hid the truth out of fear Kul Bhushan always took things from him, and he hoped that by keeping quiet, Kul Bhushan would eventually leave.

The pandit reminds Guru ji that Kul Bhushan has returned, seeking to steal his identity, his position, and even his love. He asks Guru ji to take a stand and vows to help him. Guru ji finally promises to settle old scores. The pandit believes that Jhanak’s arrival is no coincidence it’s fate.

He urges Guru ji to support Jhanak, as she will one day bring honor to his name. Guru ji is moved but admits they know nothing about her background. The pandit insists they need to uncover her story and help her.

Elsewhere, Dadi tells Arshi that Jhanak is no longer alive. Arshi refuses to believe that and reveals that Jhanak is still haunting their lives the police have arrested Shrishti. Everyone is stunned. Shubh asks why they weren’t informed earlier. Arshi says Shrishti’s reputation is ruined, and the police believe she’s hiding something. Just then, Anirudh walks in and says the truth always comes out.

At the ashram, Jhanak watches a couple performing wedding rituals and is reminded of her own marriage to Anirudh. Guru ji notices her distress and asks if she’s okay. Jhanak says she’s seen that temple before and that weddings used to happen there. She becomes overwhelmed, calls out Anirudh’s name, and faints.

Everyone rushes to help. The pandit sprinkles water on her face, and she regains consciousness. Confused, she asks where she is and who the people are. The pandit reassures her that she is safe at their ashram and asks who Anirudh is. She murmurs his name again. When asked for her full name, she says, “Jhanak Raina… Jhanak Bose… no, Jhanak Raina.” When the pandit asks who Urvashi Raina is, she replies, “She’s my mother.” Guru ji is left in shock by this revelation.
