Anupama

Ishu comments that they all supported Mahi, which is why Rahi lost. Pakhi interrupts, asking if they’re going to talk about that “loser girl” or celebrate Mahi’s victory. Baa suggests they forget about Rahi and focus on celebrating Mahi’s success instead. Mahi asks Anupama if she’s happy about her win, to which Anupama replies that she is indeed happy for her, but feels conflicted because while one daughter won, the other lost. She admits to feeling both happy and sad at the same time. Toshu asks if they’ll just cry or celebrate, prompting Pakhi to suggest calling the dhol guys. Anupama kisses Mahi’s hand, hoping that Prem is taking care of Rahi.

Pakhi scolds Ishani for almost revealing the truth to Anupama. Ishani insists it was just a slip of the tongue. They then notice Ansh standing nearby, and Ishani covers by saying they were just talking about girls’ matters. Ansh, however, looks skeptical.

Meanwhile, Prem is taking care of Rahi, tending to her injured feet. A song plays in the background as the family celebrates Mahi’s victory. Anupama places a hand on Mahi’s shoulder, and Mahi hugs her. The family dances, with Baa performing a ritual to ward off any bad luck from Mahi and giving money to the dhol players. Everyone continues dancing, and Baa tells Mahi that their victory is hers too. Dolly adds that they are all Shahs. Toshu says that Mahi is part of their family, and Mahi expresses her gratitude. Anupama watches them and smiles at how their attitudes have changed.

Prem gives Rahi some water, and she drinks it. Anupama, however, wonders why Prem hasn’t returned yet and hopes he’s with Rahi. Mahi begins to worry as well, wondering why Prem hasn’t come back. Prem gently encourages Rahi to come home, but she refuses, stating that she doesn’t have a home. She thanks him for saving her and insists on being left alone. Prem, however, says he can’t leave her alone, and it’s not his style. He climbs a tree to rest, thinking about how he wishes he could ease her pain. He reflects on his emotions, realizing that he has fallen in love with Rahi.

Meanwhile, Mahi contemplates confessing her feelings to Prem. Anupama calls Prem and notices him signaling her to stay silent as he shows her Rahi sitting under the tree. Prem explains that Rahi is very upset and may not come home tonight, but he’s staying with her and taking care of her. Anupama thanks him for his support.

The next day, Anupama anxiously waits for Rahi and Prem’s return, but when she calls Prem, he doesn’t pick up. Rahi wakes up to find Prem sleeping nearby, and she nudges him awake, causing him to fall from the tree. Rahi questions why he didn’t leave when she asked him to, and Prem responds that maybe it’s because of love. He adds that leaving her alone isn’t his way, and he admires her cuteness as she wears flowers in her hair. They joke about having tea together, but Rahi sarcastically asks if he’d prefer poison instead. They hear a bhajan from a temple, and Rahi recalls the previous day’s events, muttering Anupama Joshi’s name.

At home, Janki behen asks Deepa if she has kept the rice ready. Deepa confirms, and Janki behen tells Anupama to rest, but Anupama insists she cannot. She mentions that she’s at peace because Prem is with Rahi, but she still needs to work. Toshu enters, mentioning two new restaurants opening nearby and how the younger generation prefers fast food. Anupama counters that they can’t indulge in that every day, adding that “Anu ki Rasoi” will one day go global.

Pakhi enters and mentions that she likes wearing the same shawl every day because Ishani gave it to her. However, as she turns, a ghungroo falls from the shawl and lands in the vegetable bowl. Anupama notices it, and Toshu, Kinjal, and Dolly discuss how Mahi hasn’t paid them back yet. Baa says they’ll perform the purification ritual once Rahi leaves.

Anupama heads to Pakhi’s room to investigate, and Pakhi asks what she’s looking for. Anupama finds a pouch with ghungroos inside and places them on the bed. Pakhi claims they are Ishani’s and not hers, stating Ishani also danced, but Anupama insists that Ishani does western dance, not classical. She explains that she had given her ghungroos to Rahi and Mahi, but Pakhi sabotaged Rahi’s chance by using her ghungroos. Anupama accuses Pakhi of stealing Rahi’s opportunity and expresses how Rahi worked hard to reach the competition. She demands to know why Pakhi couldn’t bear Rahi’s happiness and success. She then throws the ghungroos on the ground and orders Pakhi to dance on them barefoot.
