Jhanak update Thursday 8 May 2025

The episode begins with Shrishti and Vinayak having a conversation. She sweetly asks him to invite his family and start the celebrations, even suggesting that he invite his friends. Vinayak, however, explains that his office colleagues would find it strange if they saw him celebrating. She expresses sympathy for Urvashi and Jhanak’s situation.

Vinayak, however, insists that he doesn’t want to discuss the matter further. Shrishti continues, teasingly remarking that she didn’t know Guru Ji had a twin brother whose daughter resembled Jhanak. Vinayak, irritated, dismisses the topic, and she engages him in a light conversation. He then mentions that they will celebrate their anniversary, but Shrishti wonders if he is doubting her or if his feelings for her have changed. Vinayak, deep in thought, reflects that although he still loves her, he cannot overlook her mistakes, and he is determined to prove that he will not forgive her easily—he might even leave her if necessary.

Arshi arrives and joins them. She inquires about the surprise Vinayak promised Shrishti. He smiles and says he will reveal it soon, but insists that it’s a helpful surprise. Shrishti, noticing his strange behavior, wonders what hint he is dropping. Brij and Nutan unexpectedly arrive to meet Shrishti, shocking both Shrishti and Arshi.

Shrishti greets them, and Nutan offers her blessings. Brij explains that his daughter knows how to respect elders, and despite his initial hesitation, he felt compelled to come. Shrishti asks how she can assist them. Brij reveals that he is new in town and asks for her help to secure a bright future for his daughter. Shrishti is taken aback but listens intently.

Meanwhile, Jhanak thinks to herself that she is trying to find a mother figure in Shrishti, but she dislikes her, even though she knows it’s all part of a bigger plan. Arshi invites Nutan to sit, but she declines, claiming she is fine standing. Vinayak urges her to sit, and Brij begins to talk about his daughter’s enrollment in a dance academy.

Shrishti, aware of the situation, confirms she knows about the dance academy and points out that she is the chairperson. She expresses concern that Brij might be trying to influence her. Brij denies it, explaining that they are relatives because both he and Shrishti are from the dance industry. He asks about Shrishti’s daughters.

Vinayak answers that they have only one daughter. Brij then presses Shrishti for help, but she firmly declines. Brij insists he is only asking for a small favor, and Shrishti continues to refuse. He then reveals that his daughter, Nutan, has dance talent and he wants Shrishti to teach her. Shrishti, however, says she doesn’t take personal dance students.

Vinayak intervenes, suggesting that she can teach Nutan since she already teaches dance classes. Shrishti argues that Brij himself should teach his daughter, as no one can teach better than him. Brij responds confidently, stating that Nutan is a skilled dancer, and he is sure she will perform well.

Arshi, curious, asks if Nutan can perform different dance styles. Jhanak claims she can dance to contemporary music, impressing Vinayak. Shrishti, though reluctant, agrees that Nutan must pass a test to become her student.

Brij insists on immediate testing, but Shrishti says the classes are already full for the year. He expresses frustration, stating that he doesn’t have much time left and needs to secure a good future for his daughter. Jhanak then suggests they test Nutan right away.

Vinayak, trying to change the topic, mentions their upcoming 25th anniversary. Brij asks if he will be invited, and Shrishti confirms that only special people will be invited. She tells Brij that she is meeting him for the first time, and he questions her about whether that’s true. She nods, but in her mind, she plans to avoid extending an invitation, not wanting him to take advantage of her kindness.
